《King Of All Heavens》Chapter 49: Molting

'Shit we're going to die!'
'What?!'
'He's that disciple who sent hundreds of experts to the Xi Manor!'
'The person who bid hundreds of high quality spirit stones leisurely!'
'that's him!'
The crowd all held the same thoughts as they looked at Wang Tian fearfully.
Ku Feng heard what that man said and his eyes furrowed. He looked at Wang Tian and saw the youth also looking at him with a smile while giving him a nod.
"Ah! I've really outdone myself this time around." Ku Feng said.
He slowly attempted to bow at Wang Tian but was stopped by the youth mid way.
"Old man don't bow to me. It's alright. You've helped me and I'm grateful for that" Wang Tian said with a smile. The old man helped him and he wasn't the sort to repay kindness with cruelty.
Ku Feng looked at Wang Tian nodded satisfactorily. Such a magnificent disciple! Being able to remain humble and not throw his weight around when he's superior to all the people here is quite a feat!
Teng Fuo looked at the scene with cold sweat running down his back.
'Shit! I even thought of killing him! Phew! Good thing Fu Ning yelled it out otherwise I would have been courting my own death!' Teng Fuo thought to himself as he looked at Wang Tian and Ku Feng.
Then he looked at Ku Feng with envy.
'Hmp! He always gets lucky! I'll give you a piece of my mind sooner or later old Ku!' He thought to himself.
Wang Tian scanned the crowd thoughtfully.
Since his identity was now exposed, he no longer needed to restrain his bearing.
In an instant, he transformed into a different person. Someone who was fitting to be labeled as one of the disciples from a behemoth sect. If he continued to act humble and lowly. Then not only would it cause them to think lowly of the sect but it would also make them think that members of a behemoth sect were pushovers.
"I believe I am qualified to become an Alchemist Master. Does anyone disagree?" Wang Tian said. His voice was neither loud but it wasn't silent either. He said it plainly but all the people present except for Ku Feng was scared shitless and thought of Wang Tian's words as threats.
"No no no, Young Lord, we wouldn't dare disagree!" The old man who asked Ku Feng nicely earlier hurriedly replied.
The remaining people all nodded in agreement quickly.
The people there quickly found an excuse for themselves to leave the place. Some of them said that they had to feed their chickens while others their animals and pets. Some even shit themselves out of fear.
Wang Tian laughed at the scene. The feeling of having power and letting people look at you with fear and respect was very exciting! How fascinating it is to be above all others!
In the end, he was given the identification plate for being an Alchemist Master. The Alchemist Guild threw a banquet before he left and Wang Tian attended it.
Ku Feng saw him off but when Wang Tian was about to leave, he told Ku Feng to follow him. The alchemist grandmaster found it to be odd but he followed.
When they were in the inn, Wang Tian closed the door and entered the room with Ku Feng.

"What is the matter Young Lord?" Ku Feng said.
Wang Tian looked at him deeply and then seriously said,
"Old man, although you're a bit too old. I'm quite fond of expanding my men. Do you want to be my follower? "
Ku Feng was shocked when he heard what Wang Tian said. He gulped down a bit of his saliva and then thought about it for a moment.
"I'm an old man and I have reached the limit of my potential. As you can see, I'm still stuck at Wanxiang Adept realm. Maybe this offer of yours will be the turning point in my life." Ku Feng said emotionally. This was a golden opportunity! How could he pass this up? To be able to be a follower of a disciple from that sect was akin to soaring into the heavens!
"Then swear to the heavens that you will never betray me." Wang Tian said with a grin.
Ku Feng nodded and said, "I, Ku Feng, vow to become Young Lord's follower and swear to never betray him or harm his interests! May the heavens bear witness and smite me if I do!"
Wang Tian nodded and thought about it for a moment.
"Since you're my follower, there is no need to hide such a thing from you" Wang Tian said as he slowly removed his eye patch.
Ku Feng felt a bad feeling about it but his eyesight was completely focused on Wang Tian's left eye.
Wang Tian removed the eye patch completely and looked at Ku Feng with his pure black left eye.
Heavens!
What have I seen!
A human having a pure black eye? What is this??!
"Ah!" Ku Feng exclaimed as he fell on the ground. He felt a tremendous amount of pressure from Wang Tian's left eye. It made him feel immensely scared like a powerful beast was preying on him. About to eat him and rip open his flesh. He found himself unable to move at the presence of Wang Tian's left eye.
Wang Tian put on his eye patch and the pressure that Ku Feng felt disappeared.
Ku Feng struggled to stand up. He looked at Wang Tian horrified yet his eyes contained immense excitement. This was what he was hoping for! What was that immense pressure? And where did it come from? How can a pressure so powerful come from a Houtian Realm youth?
Author's note: So as you can see, people can't see Wang Tian's real cultivation base which is that of a Xiantian Lifeform. Since Xiantian Lifeforms are very rare, they are also hard to see with a glance. People need to have devices in order to see whether or not the person is a Xiantian Lifeform.
"Young Lord, what-what was that?" Ku Feng asked weakly.
"Call me Young Master." Wang Tian said.
"Young Master" Ku Feng said. The way he addressed Wang Tian went through change. From brat, to Young Lord and then to Young Master. This was how the world works. With status and power, people will automatically revere you.
"Nevermind what that was. What I want to ask is, do you want power like that?" Wang Tian asked.
Yes! With this statement, it automatically revealed Wang Tian's aim for taking Ku Feng in as a follower!
Ku Feng felt waves harrass his mind again as Wang Tian's words echoed in his ears.

"Of course Young Master!" He quickly replied. He was getting quite used to the surprising things from Wang Tian as this was the sixth time.
The first time was when Wang Tian was able to refine a pill with such a destructive method! The second time was when Wang Tian introduced the Denying Destruction Pill. The third being the time Wang Tian's identity was exposed. The fourth being Wang Tian exposing him to his left eye. The fifth being him subjected to the pressure of Wang Tian's left eye and last but not the least, the sixth. Which is Wang Tian's question.
Just like before, this was a golden opportunity! Ku Feng's eyes were shining.
Who in this world didn't want to have extreme power? Who in this world didn't want to gain pressure that could make someone fall down on the ground?
Wang Tian didn't answer but flicked his hand. In an instant, a dagger appeared in his left hand. He cut his right hand, the part of his body where there were scales open.
The sight of someone having scales surprised Ku Feng again but this time, he didn't have the same intense reaction.
Blood came falling down from Wang Tian's hand.
He stored the dagger and then took out a cup from his bag of holding.
He poured his blood on the cup slowly. Drop by drop, the cup was filled to a fourth of its maximum capacity.
Ku Feng didn't make a sound and just watched the blood fall drop by drop. His heart was pounding deeply.
"Here. Drink this and assimilate with it." Wang Tian said.
Ku Feng already expected this so he was calm but he was trembling with mixed emotions on the inside.
"You see, I have a very special bloodline. But I won't tell you and let you experience it yourself. As my first follower, this is my gift to you" Wang Tian said with a smile.
This was what Wang Tian wanted. To test on whether or not his bloodline was the same as his Senior Long's. Something that could be given to others.
His blood contained the blood of the demon race. Anyone who drank the blood would change into a member of the demon race. Fortunately for Ku Feng, Wang Tian's tribe wasn't like the other tribes where they were barbaric and wanted to wreak havoc everywhere.
"Do it here. I'll look out for you" Wang Tian said.
Ku Feng stared at the blood and sat down cross legged. He drank it and assimilated with the blood.
Ku Feng felt a very powerful force enter his body and assault his insides.
"But, old man, there is a twist, the bloodline I possess isn't something people like you can assimilate into. But, since you're my first follower, I won't treat you badly and let you die." Wang Tian said evilly.
"Senior Golem" he called out.
In an instant, a man who has a bushy moustache clad in silver appeared holding a spiderling that was about five inches in his hand.
These two were Senior Golem and Little Blood.
"Senior Golem, please assist this old man to not die. I want him to assimilate my blood and see what becomes of him" Wang Tian said.
"Alright" Senior Golem answered. He walked towards Ku Feng and placed his hand on Ku Feng's shoulder.
Little Blood on the other hand was feeling ecstatic. It was sensing a very familiar scent. Wang Tian saw this and then reached his right hand out. Little Blood jumped on his right hand and then lay comfortably on his right arm as that was the place where there were scales.
The process went on until it was midnight.
There were times where Ku Feng would fall unconscious but Senior Golem would wake him up and Wang Tian would remind him that if he were to endure the pain, then he would become a dragon amongst men. Or more correctly, a spider amongst men.
The process was painful because the bloodline was rejecting and fighting Ku Feng as his body wasn't that compatible with Wang Tian's bloodline.
But since Senior Golem was there, the experiment proceeded with much ease.
The process was done! It was successful!
Inside the room, there was a body that looked exactly like Ku Feng laying on the floor lifeless. It didn't really look like a corpse but that of skin and a shell.
This was Ku Feng's old body! Or in spider terms, an exoskeleton!
The new Ku Feng was standing proudly.
Ku Feng underwent the molting process that is common in spiders. His bones were much more sturdy and his skin was hard as rock. He now had lines all over his body and face making him look extremely scary. His face was now much vigorous and looked a hundred years younger! He looked like he was in his thirties! Ku Feng's eyes were similar to Wang Tian but there were differences. Wang Tian's eyes are pure black but Ku Feng's has a purple line in the center. Making him look much more scary but appealing.
This surprised Wang Tian. He circled around Ku Feng and inspected his body.
He was really satisfied with the results and couldn't help but acknowledging this experiment as a success. Now he knew that he can give others his blood and make them his people.
"How do you feel old man?" Wang Tian asked Ku Feng.
"Young... And powerful" Ku Feng replied. His voice was completely different from before. It was much more deeper and scarier.
"Very good. Now, Ku Feng, You will be the first general under my command." Wang Tian said.
"General?" Ku Feng asked.
"Yes, my mission for you now is to slowly recruit and nurture talented yet unrestrained cultivators in the Moon Summit Empire. However, you must do it secretly. Do not alert the powerhouses in this place. Do you understand old man?" Wang Tian instructed.
"Yes Young Master. I do" Ku Feng replied. His personality also underwent a huge change. He was much more cold and unlike before, he wasn't talkative now.
Senior Golem looked at his Young Master with interest. What is this Young Master of his planning to do?
"I will be back in the future and I hope that there will be results by then" Wang Tian said as he handed Ku Feng a bag of holding.
Ku Feng opened the bag of holding and couldn't help but tremble in surprise.
There were about a million high quality spirit stones in there!
"Use them as you see fit. I'm giving you a lot so I don't expect any failures." Wang Tian said sternly.

Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.

Pillars Between Us
It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories. Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him. --It's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!

Transition and Restart
If you were transported from this world to another almost identical. If you were transported from your life to your teenage self.If you had to restart your life again.Would you, or would you cling to your memories? This is a Japanese manga/anime -style slice of life high school romance with a splash of sci-fi. Ensemble cast, so if you only want one main character this is not for you. It's also a repost of books I already published here. It's cleaned up, and it's published the way I meant it to be read. For those reasons the very concept of a release schedule lacks meaning. Chapters are either miniscule or humungous.
