《King Of All Heavens》Chapter 43: Auction house

"You! What did you do to me!?" That man cried out as he tried his best to refrain from crying.
Wang Tian smiled and said,
"I guess you could call it, interest?"
"No why don't you drag your asses back to where you came from?" He continued
The four looked at him like he was a monster and was about to rebuke him when Wang Tian interrupted.
"Unless you also want your skin to fall off of your arms and become dust? Or better yet, your whole body?" Wang Tian smiled demonically.
"Fuck it! Let's get out of here!" The man who Wang Tian used decay on shouted with fear. His right arm was nothing but bones and just the breeze from the wind hurt like hell. He quickly consumed a healing pill and then retreated much earlier than the other three.
"Shit!" They all hurled curses at Wang Tian and the man who just left as they also quickly evacuated the scene.
The employees of the restaurant looked on with shock and their faces were pale. They were deathly afraid of the youth! This youth easily killed the Second Young Master of the House Xi and even killed a Zifu Realm expert! With just his gaze! He even forced four more Zifu Realm experts to retreat!
For all they know, he was a devil! He could easily kill all of them and rampage around the restaurant. Thus, they didn't dare to move an inch nor utter a sound.
After a few moments, Senior Golem broke the tense atmosphere with a light chuckle.
"Well, that happened fast." He remarked as he stared at Wang Tian.
"Haha Young Master, you are really quite the talent!" Senior Golem happily praised Wang Tian.
"Oh no Senior, I am no such thing. They were just clearly much much more weaker than me." Wang Tian humbly said.
"Don't be so overly modest Young Master." Senior Golem happily said.
"Haha anyway, I think it's time to leave this place since the employees are clearly scared shitless because of us." Wang Tian changed the topic as his eyes shifted to the employees.
Senior Golem nodded with a light laugh and then proceeded downstairs. Wang Tian flicked his hands and then five high quality spirit stones appeared in his palm. He threw them towards an employee and said, "This should cover up all of the bill for the food as well as the damages from the fight right?"
The employee didn't answer as his gaze was very fixated on the spirit stones in his hands.
'High quality spirit stones! And five of them! If only I could use these for my own... I could live life to the fullest!' he thought to himself as he gulped a mouthful of saliva.
Wang Tian naturally saw this and immediately understood.
Ah humans! So greedy and ambitious.
He clicked his fingers and called out, "hey it's enough right?"
The employee finally broke out from his daze. "Ah! Yes yes yes... It-it's enough!" He said as he held the spirit stones tightly in his hands. But by the time he looked at Wang Tian, the youth was already long gone.

News of the battle and the deaths of three members of House Xi spread like wildfire. It was like the rumours had wings! Every single person came to know that there were two people present in the city. Daring enough to kill members of an aristocratic clan.
"Fuck! How dare he kill my grandson! This is unacceptable! Quickly capture him and bring him back to me!" The man who spoke is called Xi Xiaolu. The younger brother of the current House head of the House Xi. This man greatly doted on his grandson since he was the only one who showed a bit of promise in all of his descendants. Now that he is dead, who will continue his legacy? Who will help him achieve a higher status?
...
The duo walked nonchalantly to the nearest inn.
"Give me two rooms, preferably with no guests in the surrounding rooms." Wang Tian said as he handed the cashier of the inn with one high quality spirit stone.
The cashier looked at him with shining eyes and said, "This way please my Lords, anything else that you would like to have?"
"Hmmmm... Do you have anyone who knows the recent events or happenings in the city?" Wang Tian asked neither meekly nor haughtily. The cashier was respectful so respect is what he will receive.
Seeing that the youth wasn't like other youths whom were arrogant to the extreme, the opinion of the cashier towards Wang Tian became much more higher than what it originally was.
"Wait I'll call boss, Sires. He's well informed. He'll visit your rooms my Lords after you've rested. Please do relax first." The cashier cupped his fists , bowed and left.
The duo nodded and didn't cause any unnecessary trouble. They quickly proceeded to their own rooms.
Senior Golem entered his room and then exntended his Immortal Sense towards the surroundings of Wang Tian's room. He sat cross legged and guarded the room with all his might.
Wang Tian was sitting cross legged in his room. He was in deep thought.
'I really have to find a way on how to acquire a flame spirit and a cauldron.... And maybe after a thousand practices, I could find a way to heal my father's injuries. Letting him recover his cultivation base.' Wang Tian thought to himself as he looked on in the far distance.
Wang Tian checked up on his cultivation. He circulated the qi in his body. During the training, he broke into level six and he could circulate the qi inside his body for almost a hundred and eighty times. Just a bit short to reach level seven. But it was not a worry since he was not in a rush.
"Hello? My Lord? It is me the manager, may I come in?" A voice that sounded like it came from a man who was about thirty to forty years old called out.
Senior Golem sensed the man and was about to attack but stopped when he heard what the man said.
"Yes, you can come in." Wang Tian replied as he got up.
The door opened and a man who looked to be in his mid thirties appeared in Wang Tian's line of sight. The man was clad in gold with a mixture of black. He had a moustache but not as bushy as Senior Golem's.

Wang Tian stood up, cupped his fists and then bowed to the manager. The manager was caught aback but returned the humble greeting towards the youth.
"So, what does Sire want to know?" The manager said.
"Anything. Any events or locations of public places. Literally anything." Wang Tian said.
"Well, the Silver Crow City is well known for the amazing Silver Crows that rest upon its amazing buildings. In the recent days, uhm... There was an announcement that an auction would be held three days from now." The manager said with a smile.
"Auction eh? Is there a chance of rare cauldrons and flame spirits being auctioned there?" Wang Tian asked.
"Eh? Is Sire an Alchemist??" The manager looked at the young man in shock. If the young man was an alchemist then he would undoubtedly be considered as extremely talented. One must know that it is extremely hard to become an Alchemist Apprentice. Thus, he couldn't believe it.
Wang Tian chuckled lightly and said, "You could say that?". He wasn't yet considered as an alchemist since he only had the knowledge and the experience of his master. Although he had thoroughly assimilated with the inheritance, he didn't know if he could refine a pill. That's why he still can't call himself an alchemist.
The manager's eyes shined and thought to himself, 'If I could get acquainted to this young man, I could have a powerful backing. A man that could easily throw a high quality spirit stone can't be someone that has no backing.'
"The specifics of the items being auctioned are not to be disclosed. That's why even I, someone who has connections, don't know the items. But, perhaps my Lord will be lucky enough to find a good cauldron and a flame spirit." The manager said.
"Hmmm... Then, is there an alchemist guild in this city?" Wang Tian asked.
"Of course my Lord, if you want to go there, I'd be willing to serve as your guide." The manager offered.
Wang Tian nodded and said with a smile, "Then I will shamelessly take you up on that offer".
The manager bid his farewell and then left the room. But before he did, Wang Tian gave him a high quality spirit stone as a token of gratitude for the information he gave. The manager looked at the high quality spirit stone with shining eyes but rejected it. Wang Tian insisted and then after a few rounds of rejecting, he finally accepted it and left.
Wang Tian grinned after the manager left.
"That man is truly cunning, his eyes were giving off greed and he definitely wanted to take it. But he didn't want to be labeled as some easy to get person. That's why he rejected it at first so that when he finally accepted it, it would be considered as being forced to do so." Wang Tian smiled.
...
Day of the auction
In front of an auction house, a young man clad in black with an eye patch could be seen with a middle aged man clad in silver with a bushy moustache. Naturally they were Wang Tian and Senior Golem.
"Who might you two be?" The guard at the entrance blocked them in the entrance. Senior Golem looked at him indifferently and snorted.
The guard felt anger rise in his heart when he saw this but he quickly refrained from lashing out as he felt that there was something more to these two. The bearing of the two were one of a kind. Unlike any other cultivator present. The guard didn't notice it at first but shen he closely looked at them, their bearing was clearly different from the rest. Being a guard of the auction house for all these years, he developed a keen sense for experts.
"We're from the Seven Star Sword Sect" Wang Tian said as he revealed the symbol of identification.
"What?!" The guard cried out in shock when he heard what Wang Tian said.
The crowd also reacted the same way. They were all cultivators thus they could hear what Wang Tian said very clearly.
Someone from the legendary Seven Star Sword Sect was present? The crowd looked at the two.
Wang Tian and Senior Golem felt stares coming from every direction. Senior Golem snorted again, instantly silencing the murmuring crowd. They fearfully shifted their gazes elsewhere and then proceeded to mind their own businesses.
"This lowly one is sorry for not being able to notice Mount Tai!" The guard cupped his fists and then bowed to Wang Tian and Senior Golem. Wang Tian waved his hands and said,
"Can we enter then?"
"Oh y-yes of course!" The guard said awkwardly. He personally led them to a
VIP room. He bowed towards them and left. Another guard quickly took up his position and then
'I wonder why people from the high and mighty Seven Star Sword Sect are here?' the guard thought to himself.
In the past few decades, they haven't experienced a visit from them. From other sects maybe but a sect that lorded over the eastern continent? No.
"Well, it's not my business. I better tell the boss" the guard muttered as he went to find his boss.
...
"What? People from that Sect are here? Hmm... This should be interesting" An old man with an aged appearance exclaimed in shock. But he quickly composed himself. The old man emanated an ancient aura. His eyes were full of wisdom and power. This old man was called, Liu Bei.
"Where did you lead them to?" The old man asked the guard.
"The finest of our rooms" the guard said respectfully.
"Good job." Liu Bei praised his guard's quick thinking while he stood up and walked towards the door. He was planning on personally greeting Wang Tian and Senior Golem as he did not want to anger the lord of their land.
"Thank you boss!" The guard said excitedly as he opened the way for his boss.

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!

His Pet | Leatherface X OC (16+)
"Ohhhh, who's this again?" The creep asked. The one with the chainsaw shrugged quickly, looking to his right. I felt my heart jumping out of my stomach and my adrenaline pumping. "Bubba's got a girlfriend!" The creep bounced up and down, chanting that stupid shit. "P-please..." I begged. I looked into the killer's eyes. He looked.. embarrassed? He has emotion? Is that why he's not killing me? I saw him reach out to open the lock but his brother shoved him back, grabbing the lightweight chainsaw as he did. "Either sex... or the saw, Leatherface." His brother held up a chainsaw. I let out a small scream. "Le-leather... f-face?" I gasped, trying to somehow earn more sympathy. He looked at me and nervously fiddled with his tie.
