Wang Tian looked at Song Zhigao and approached him.

Wang Tian looked nothing less of a devil. Wang Tian smiled at him but the people present in the area was terrified when they saw him smile. It was like the smile of a bad omen! Something disastrous was about to unfold!

Wang Tian stood in front of Song Zhigao and then said nothing. Wang Tian just looked at him with a wide grin. Song Zhigao felt shivers down his spine.

'Shit! I'm done for! This guy is a fucking nutjob! I won't be able to escape!' Song Zhigao thought to himself. His body was shaking all over and when Wang Tian raised the stick, Song Zhigao peed himself. The surrounding people saw this but they didn't dare to laugh as they didn't want to attract the devil's attention.

"Goodbye!" Wang Tian said happily. He slashed down his stick but the Peak Master arrived just in time. The Peak Master grabbed Wang Tian's arm to stop him from slashing down towards Song Zhigao. "Wang Tian! What are you doing!? Why are you killing?!" the Peak Master said. This was Peak Master Zhou Weiqing. He arrived at the Battle Arena a few moments ago but then a disciple reported to him that somebody was killing other disciples. This angered him greatly. 'How foolish is this guy to think that he would actually kill his fellow disciples?!' He thought to himself. He rushed towards Wang Tian and the others but he was a wee bit too late. Wang Tian had already killed five men. He couldn't help but gasp and fear appeared in his eyes.

'He made those disciples kneel with just a glare! He didn't even make a move!' He thought to himself.

He looked at the killer and saw that it was Wang Tian. Zhou Weiqing and the Sect Leader had a good relationship. That's why he knew a bit about Wang Tian.

When he saw Wang Tian raise his stick, he immediately rushed towards him and stopped him before he killer Song Zhigao. Fortunately, he was a Zifu Realm expert. He was fast.

"Don't you know that killing other disciples without a good reason is punishable by death?!" The Peak Master shouted.

Wang Tian looked at him. He let go of the stick and then he said, "I know." indifferently.

Zhou Weiqing losened his grip on Wang Tian's hand a bit but he regreted it moments later. Wang Tian's immense killing intent pressured him and caught him off guard. Wang Tian used this as a chance to kill Song Zhigao. "You aren't getting away!" Wang Tian said and then he used the hand that the Peak Master wasn't holding. In an instant, a dagger appeared in Wang Tian's left hand. Wang Tian lacerated Song Zhigao's neck. Song Zhigao screamed in pain. He screamed so hard that he shit himself. A foul stench covered the air. "No!!!!!" Zhou Weiqing shouted. He was surprised by what had happened. It wasn't that he was careless with Wang Tian. In fact, he was rather wary. But he didn't expect that Wang Tian would kill in front of him or much less even kill!

"You brat! Why did you kill him?!" the Peak Master cried out.

Wang Tian looked at him indifferently and didn't respond. He picked up his stick and then walked towards Wang Jhiayi with a smiled. He completely ignored the Peak Master. Wang Jhiayi was completely rooted to the ground all this time.

"You dare to ignore me?!" the Peak Master yelled. "By the rights, bestowed upon me by the Sect Leader, I shall capture you and punish you because you violated Sect Law and killed your own disciple without any good reason!" Zhou Weiqing said and then he rushed towards Wang Tian. The teenager chuckled and then said, "I heard that there was a rule that If someone killed, all they have to do is defeat the Elder who caught them and their punishment would not be death right??"

This made Zhou Weiqing come to an abrupt halt. Indeed, the Sect had this rule. If a person killed a fellow sect disciple then they would have to challenge the person who caught them. Since disciples don't have the authority to capture their fellow sect disciples, this job was left to the Elders of the Sect. Of course, the rule was rather pointless since there was no way in hell that a Houtian Lifeform could battle a Zifu Realm expert. Much less kill one. He found it quite odd when he heard Wang Tian say this.

'Don't tell me...' he thought to himself.

"You who captured me! I issue a formal challenge to you in hopes that my punishment might be alleviated. Furthermore, I have a good reason why I killed those people and I have witnesses too!" Wang Tian said and then nodded at the three people that he payed to be witnesses.

The first person broke into cold sweat when Wang Tian nodded to him. But he still did his end of the bargain. He gritted his teeth and then said, "Peak Master, I witnessed all of the things that have happened and I know for a fact that Senior Brother Wang Tian killed these people because of the things they said."

The second person also gritted his teeth and stepped out, "Yes Peak Master, Senior Brother Wang Tian killed these people because they were arrogant enough to occupy the whole street as if the street was theirs."

Seeing that the other two disciples had stepped up, the third disciple no longer hesitated and said, "Peak Master, these people threatened to annihilate the nine generations of Wang Tian's clan. We all know that it is taboo to threaten your enemies using their family. That's why Wang Tian got incensed. "

He would never let the people who threatened his family go. However, Wang Tian still killed fellow sect disciples. Rules were rules, they were put there to maintain peace. Otherwise, people would start killing their fellow disciples and their sect would incur major losses.

Wang Tian felt like he had to do something to at least gain back the favor of the Peak Master by a bit. He looked at the Peak Master and said, "Senior, do you accept my challenge?"

'He's serious about that?' Zhou Weiqing thought to himself.

The crowd gasped in amazement when they heard what Wang Tian said.

"A madman! A clear madman and also a murderer! God! How is he even alive?!"

The three disciples looked at Wang Tian anxiously. If Wang Tian died and got killed by the Peak Master, they wouldn't be able to get their other half. Moreover, they defended him! They wouldn't be warranted death but they would surely be punished!

"Senior Brother No! Don't!"

Wang Jhiayi also found this to be unbelievable and just like the crowd, he felt like Wang Tian was a madman.

He looked at Wang Tian and then sighed.

Zhou Weiqing looked at Wang Tian shocked by the lad's boldness.

Zhou Weiqing looked at him and then said after a few moments, "Very well". He too had no other option. He couldn't let Wang Tian go no matter the reason since Wang Tian killed fellow sect disciples so his only choice was to accept Wang Tian's challenge.

"I, the Peak Master of the fourth mountain, Zhou Weiqing, accept your challenge of redemption. " He didn't say anything more since there were tons of people here. If he reneged on the deal, then he would lose a great amount of face and incur public hate.

Wang Tian was thinking of an idea when the Peak Master was considering the challenge.

When the Peak Master accepted his challenge, he smiled said, "Senior How about we take this to the Battle Arena so that we can proceed to the selection after our battle?"

Zhou Weiqing's eyes flashed when he heard Wang Tian mention the selection. 'He's here to participate in the selection?' he thought to himself. He thought about it for a moment and then nodded. He looked at the crowd and pointed at a random group.

"All of you, take these bodies to Gravedigger Meng and tell him to bury it for me." Zhou Weiqing ordered the disciples. Those disciples became less enthusiastic. They wanted to watch the match but they were now tasked to dispose of corpses. All of these disciples cursed the Peak Master and Wang Tian in their minds but they did not dare to say these things since they knew that they would be the ones to get buried if they complained.

Wang Tian, Wang Jhiayi, Zhou Weiqing and the crowd went to the arena.

On the peak of the fourth mountain, 7 figures could be seen.

"Hey old third? What do you think of that boy?" The first figure said to the third figure.

"Hmp! He's very arrogant and he deserves to die!" Old third said.

The fifth figure looked at Old third and said, "He's innately talented! A kid like that should not be killed and instead nurtured!"

The second figure said and disagreed with old fourth.

The 6th figured snorted and said,

"Killing is killing. He should pay for his sins."

"Maybe? Maybe he won't? Let's watch shall we?" The 7th figure finally spoke and then said. This figure had a very sweet and alluring voice! The figure is a girl! The seventh figure's eyes flashed with wisdom.

The six figures nodded to the seventh figure and stopped arguing with each other.

After a few moments, Wang Tian and the others arrived at the Battle Arena.

Wang Tian and Zhou Weiqing entered the arena and then faced each other. Wang Jhiayi was the referee so he stood in between the two.

"Hey look isn't that Peak Master? What's he doing inside the arena?"

"Who's that young man?"

"That's Wang Tian."

"Yeah, they returned a few days ago."

"What's he doing up there with Peak Master?"
