"I quickly found a place to hide to treat her injuries.

Wang Gui told the story bitterly but his tone always contained love and endless affection.

"What happened after that father?" Wang Tian asked. He was really shocked by the revelation. The love story of his parents were shocking to the core. Fighting wars? Getting stabbed with swords that have poison? In his past life, there was nothing of this sort except for the World War 1 and 2 that happened almost a hundred years ago.

'Wow, I didn't know that all of these things happened to my parents." Wang Tian thought to himself.

"Become stronger and I'll tell you the whole story! Your strength as of now isn't worth mentioning son! Even an ant in their eyes is much stronger than you!" Wang Gui said harshly but what he was speaking was reality. He wanted to knock the confidence of his son by a notch since he didn't want his son to become arrogant. He wanted Wang Tian to learn that there is a bigger mountain behind a mountain and a bigger one behind that mountain.

"Work Hard! And one day..." Wang Gui's eyes flashed with burning determination but the tone in his voice was filled with sorrow.

Wang Tian listened to the advice of his father and carved his words into his mind and heart.

However, his heart shook when he heard his father's injury.

"Father, did you say you were injured? Was your injury the one that you and Senior Dragon was talking about?" Wang Tian said.

"Yes son. I'm injured. Why do you ask?" Wang Gui looked at Wang Tian strangely.
