《King Of All Heavens》Chapter 26: Introduction

Wang Gui watched the scene play out and he couldn't help but feel shocked and at the same time proud of his son.
'Young Master? My son is their Young Master?' Wang Gui thought to himself.
'Yu'er, your son has grown' Wang Gui teared up.
HS stood up, bowed towards Wang Tian and then went back to the other guardians' side.
Wang Tian looked at the scene and then said, "Well, umm... This is awkward."
He chuckled and then said, "why don't we all get back to the house and talk there?".
He looked at Senior Dragon for approval.
"Your call, Young Master " Senior Dragon said aloofly.
Wang Tian nodded and then all of them disappeared from the blood forest.
Before leaving, Wang Tian looked at the surroundings.
'After 7 years, I've finally got out of this place.' Wang Tian thought to himself.
The gang arrived at Wang Tian's house just after a few seconds.
Wang Tian looked at the house that he hadn't seen for almost a decade.
He broke into a smile and then said, "Come on Seniors. Please enter our humble abode. Apologies if our house isn't that amazing."
"No it's okay. It's better than living in that tomb" Senior Golem said half-jokingly and chuckled.
Senior Dragon and Lady Second looked at Senior Golem and nodded. Judging from this, they agreed with what their brother said.
Although the Tomb of their master was very luxurious and exquisite, it was still rather different than being here in the real world. Not inside a spatia rift. The atmosphere, the air, the rocks, the surroundings, they were all something that the tomb of their Master couldn't replace.
Wang Tian and company proceeded into the house.
"Please sit down anywhere you like Seniors" Wang Tian said with a smile. Offering them utmost hospitality.
"Okay let us formally introduce ourselves." Wang Tian started the conversation.
He looked at his Father and then said, "Father, this is Lady Second." He pointed at the beautiful lady that was wearing red.
Lady Second smiled in return for pleasantries. She didn't treat someone like Wang Tian's father with respect like he treated Wang Tian. She and Wang Tian weren't even in good terms. How could she even treat his father good? But she still has some manners.
Wang Gui's eyes flashed but he also didn't say anything.
Lady Second felt a chill run down her spine. She broke into cold sweat but didn't say anything. Her pride as the companion of a supreme expert didn't let her bow down to someone else. Even if that someone was more powerful than her.
Wang Tian didn't bother with her but he noticed the exchange that happened between the two. He couldn't help but feel a bit shocked.
'Father can make Lady Second break into cold sweat? I wonder what cultivation realm he is in...' Wang Tian mused to himself.
"Okay next is Senior Golem." He looked at Senior Golem kindly.
Wang Gui's eyes gazed towards the buff guy who was clad in silver that had a bushy moustache.

"Greeting fellow daoist" Senior Golem stood up, cupped his fists and then slightly bowed towards Wang Gui.
Wang Gui wasn't the one to return kindness with rudeness. Thus, he returned the gesture. He stood up, cupped his fists and then bowed to Senior Golem. But the
Senior Golem was much more sensible. In fact, his cultivation realm was much more powerful than Wang Gui. But he nevertheless bowed towards Wang Gui. With his hundreds of thousands of years of cultivation experience, he could tell that something was off about Wang Gui. Something told him that his cultivation was much more than what meets the eye. He has his speculations but he couldn't voice them. This wasn't the right time.
Wang Tian also observed the exchange of Senior Golem and his father. He couldn't help but really feel shocked. He knew that his father was powerful. But he didn't think that he was much more powerful than Senior Golem. The bowing of the two to each other gave Wang Tian the data that he based off his suspicions from.
"Father, the last person is Senior D" Wang Tian said and then looked at his Senior Dragon. He didn't completely say "Dragon" since he knew that the existence of dragons was something that people could not regularly fathom. This was something that Senior Dragon told him. But he also found this information from Tang Jixian's knowledge.
Wang Gui and Senior Dragon looked at each other. Wang Gui hadn't really paid attention to this man earlier. He looked at the man. The man was very aloof and arrogant. Even when doing nothing, these two characteristics were shown.
Senior Dragon also didn't pay much attention to Wang Gui when they first exited the portal. But now that he has been given the opportunity to observe, he couldn't help but feel shocked on the inside. But he didn't show it on his face.
'Young Master's father... Has an extraordinary cultivation. But something is wrong with his body. He seems to be injured...' Senior Dragon thought to himself.
Wang Tian broke the silence and said, "Father, Senior D was the one who guided me in my cultivation all these years."
Wang Gui's eyes flashed with softness but his bearing was still there.
"A member of the Dragon Clan... Interesting" Wang Gui said mysteriously.
Wang Tian, HS, and Lady Second gasped in surprise.
They all thought the same thing.
'How did he know?'
While Senior Golem was slightly shocked as if this
Wang Tian looked at his father in surprise.
"Senior your cultivation base...?" Senior Dragon said.
Senior Dragon got up, cupped his fists and then bowed slightly towards Wang Gui.
Even though he has seen through Wang Gui's cultivation realm, he was still a bit suspicious. When their eyes met, Wang Gui gave off the feeling of a monarch. Senior Dragon felt that although Wang Gui was weaker than his Master, he knew that Wang Gui was still stronger than him at Wang Gui's peak.
They all gasped in surprise again.
What did they hear? Are their ears okay? Did they hear correctly? Senior Dragon called Wang Gui senior???

Lady Second furrowed her brows but said nothing.
"I had an injury before. So I cannot exert power above peak True Immortal Emperor realm." Wang Gui bitterly said.
The others all gasped again, True Immortal Emperor? Wasn't this realm something that normal people don't reach? Master also became a True Immortal Emperor but he was the only one who appeared in his generation. Turns out there was another one...
"Don't call me Senior, friend. With your cultivation of Quasi Dao Realm, you could easily kill me with just a glance if you wanted to. I'd prefer if you all call me uncle or brother. If it doesn't bother you all." Wang Gui continued awkwardly but there was a mixture of bitterness of sorrow behind his tone.
"Brother Wang" All of them said in agreement.
'True Immortal Emperor Realm? Quasi Dao Realm?' Wang Tian thought to himself. 'What are those realms? Immortal? Are immortals true?' Wang Tian thought to himself. He completely forgot that his predecessor was an expert who lived millions of years.
Suddenly, Wang Tian screamed. He felt a sharp pain attacking his mind, as if he was being pricked by millions of needles.
'Shit! I've done it again!' he thought to himself.
All of them cried out,
"Young Master! What's wrong?"
"Boy! What's wrong?"
"Brat! Why are you screaming?"
"Tian'er!"
After a few moments, the pain gradually subsided.
"It's okay. It's just a pain that I usually feel if I overstep my boundaries" Wang Tian said.
Wang Gui looked at Senior Dragon, wanting to ask about what was happening to his son.
Senior Dragon furrowed his brows and said, "This is... Something that is maybe connected to Master's inheritance."
"Young Master's mind can't take in Master's rich knowledge... Maybe his body has found a way to keep all of Master's knowledge judging from the pain. But there's a limit to how much he can access.". Senior Dragon's guess was spot on. Very accurate.
"It's okay everyone" Wang Tian said while calming his mind down.
After a few moments, Wang Tian was fine. Wang Gui wanted to know everything about what had happened. Wang Tian told him what happened 7 years ago, starting from when his father left to do a mission and then to the time when they decided to leave that Spatial Rift.
Wang Gui's eyes shone when he heard what Wang Tian said.
"Tang Jixian... The TANG JIXIAN?" Wang Gui said.
"Void Sovereign... Your master is Void Sovereign..." Wang Gui repeated his words as if he was crazy.
"Do you know master?" Senior Golem said.
"Yes! Who didn't hear of the peerless Void Sovereign who killed millions and tramples upon every single cultivator there is? Who didn't hear of the supreme expert who rocked the whole sky for millions of years?" Wang Gui said.
Apparently, Wang Gui has heard of the tales and deeds of Tang Jixian. He was like his idol.
"Void Sovereign... Void Sovereign..." Wang Tian mumbled to himself. He racked his brains for something related to Void Sovereign.
'Oh i've got it! Void Sovereign is Senior Tang's moniker!'. Wang Tian slapped his forehead, laughed and said, "How could I be so foolish to neglect his moniker?"
They all laughed when they heard what Wang Tian said. Even Lady Second laughed.
They all chatted and told each other a thing or two about themselves. They all felt a little bit closer than before. However, Lady Second was a bit distant. But she still mingled with them since she was infinitely grateful towards their master, Tang Jixian.
"Senior HS, Senior Dragon and Lady Second are going to leave for the time being as they have businesses to attend to. I shan't keep you with me if you don't want to. Tell me, will you also leave like them?" Wang Tian asked HS.
"No way! I don't have any family. Master was my only family. He gave me my life so my life will be forever dedicated to serving him. And that means serving you too. Besides, I'd like to keep Brother Wang company. I mean, where will you have the honor of having a True Immortal Emperor as your brother?" HS said happily.
Wang Gui laughed and then said, "You are most welcome to stay Brother HS."
Wang Tian also said, "great! The more the merrier!".
After a few hours, it was already night time. The guests were already resting. They came to an agreement that they would leave after a few days. Wang Tian was quite sad by this but he did not refute them.
Wang Gui was outside holding a gourd looking at the stars. Wang Tian saw his father and then he walked towards him.
"Father... Tell me about Mother please." Wang Tian said.
Wang Gui drank a mouthful from the gourd, sighed and said.
"I guess you have the right to..."
"Your mother's name is Lan Yu... She was as beautiful as the stars. She shined above all other women. She was quite fearless and brave... But she was nevertheless very kind." Wang Gui said with deep affection.
"I met her when I was travelling outside. She was leading an army to invade another planet. I was passing by that time. She was the general of millions of soldiers." Wang Gui said.
"She lead them to attack but alas, they had underestimated the enemy."
"I was a bit infatuated with your mother when I first saw her. Femme Fatale if you call it."
"Thus, even if she was from the demon race, i rushed in to save her."
"She was battling the leader of that planet back then. That leader was keeping her busy and then suddenly this other expert sneak attacked her."
"She fell from the sky like a kite with its string cut."
"I rushed in. Killed my way through and then caught her before she hit the ground."
"I quickly found a place to hide so that I can treat her injuries.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

Rise of an Undead in a Fantasy World
Have you ever wondered what would happen if an undead being that doesn't know what it is like to be alive got free will? What would that undead creature do? How would they think? How would they view the world around them? Would they see life as futile and conquer the world, making it a lifeless danger zone to all living beings? Well, none of that matters, because that's not happening. Our main character is your average gamer from the modern world, yada yada yada... gets transported to a fantasy world through obscure means, blah blah blah... you know how this works. What separates him from the masses, however, are his views on ethics, and world politics. ... Oh, and the fact that he doesn't need to breathe. Message From Author! Accept?: Yes No This is only my second novel, so keep that in mind. I will try to keep the quality of the story to an acceptable level. This means something that I, myself would read. The quantity, however, may put some people off. Adding onto the whole "villainous lead" thing, I will make sure to have the character develop into that perfect little villain over time, instead of starting him out as a bloodthirsty murder-hobo. Of course, there will still be a lot of murdering and he may be a hobo for some of it, but it will mostly not be out of malice in the very early chapters. Last but not least, I have decided there will not be a defined release schedule for this, as I have lost interest in forcing myself to upload x amount of times a week. I will upload whenever I get a good idea, and take my time. That is, if I even feel like writing in the first place. Instead of taking breaks from this novel to do my own thing, I will take breaks from my daily life to post on here. Also, I'm lazy. Thanks for reading, and if you're alright with everything above, feel free to give it a read, and without further ado, have a good one! - Your Author P.S.: I will have little to no romance in the story, as I can't bring myself to writing it, so you don't have to worry about harems.
