Wang Gui looked towards the Blood Forest and then disappeared. A few seconds later, he appeared at the place where Wang Tian disappeared. He was the only one in Seven Star Sword Sect who knew this place. This was the tomb of an expert! This was an expert that was more powerful than him at his peak! And with the current cultivation level of Wang Gui, he would find it impossible to open the spacial rift forcefully. Wang Gui had always wondered why an expert that stood at the top would choose to die here. It didn't make sense.

Wang Gui looked at the stone at a loss on what to do.

"Wang Tian, please be okay. I'm sorry if your father is not reliable in this matter and can't help you. Something like this is out of my power." Wang Gui said teary-eyed.

He felt pain inside his heart. 'How useless of a father am I? Back then, I couldn't protect Yu'er... And now, I can't even protect my son! I can't even rescue him!'

"My dearest, protect our child and escape from here! Promise me!" The voice of his wife echoed inside his mind.

'I promised Yu'er that I would protect our son! I will open up this spacial rift even if I lose my life as a result!' Wang Gui tossed his sorrowful thoughts at the back of his head.

He gathered all of his power towards his fist. He punched the rock with full power but the rock didn't even flinch.

"Don't try opening it my friend kekekekekek" an eccentric voice echoed out.

Wang Gui didn't reply and continued to punch the stone.

"Friend your efforts are useless. Do hear me out" that voice seemed to have been filled with a bit of irritation as it talked to Wang Gui again.

Wang Gui paid him no heed and still continued to attack the stone,

"Don't force me little friend!" The voice cried out and this time, it was much more irritated.

"Mind showing yourself?" Wang Gui replied.

The voice didn't reply. After a few moments, a humanoid beast appeared.

"Kekekekekeke friend stop trying to open it." The Humanoid Spectre said.

Wang Gui looked at the Humanoid Spectre with a bit of anger. This thing really wanted his ass to be kicked since he's daring to obstruct me! It's not even that strong!

One look at the Humanoid Spectre and Wang Gui was able to see that he was much more powerful than it. That's why he didn't try to please it nor hear out his words when it told him to stop.

The Humanoid Spectre on the other hand didn't really had any intention to fight. It was most likely trying to stop Wang Gui from trying out of fear of something bad happening and it being the first one to be blamed.

"Friend kekekeke, I am the Guardian of this rock. My master told me to protect it and not let just anyone enter nor obstruct it when it voluntarily opens." The Humanoid Spectre said with an awkward laugh.

"You're the Guardian here? My son is trapped in here! How can I just let him die?" Wang Gui said angrily.

The Humanoid Spectre didn't know what to reply and it also didn't want to fight against Wang Gui knowing that this person was much more powerful than him.

Wang Gui tried and tried again but nothing worked...

"Thud" the sound of a body hitting the ground echoed about.

Wang Tian's figure appeared out of nowhere. He looked around warily and then started to inspect his surroundings.

"What is this place?" He mumbled to himself.

This place looked like a gigantic palace. It was much more bigger than any other building Wang Tian has seen in his two lifetimes. It was as if the roof of the palace was its own sky! The gigantic palace was colored white and gold. Strange symbols were carved on its walls. Wang Tian started to walk around cautiously to see if there was any clue as to where he was.

As he went along his way, he noticed that there were multiple skeletons. Some of those skeletons had no head, no arms, and no feet. However, they didn't have any bag of holding but only a shiny ring on their index finger. Wang Tian walked closer to one skeleton and then carefully inspected its bones. He flicked his sleeve and his sword appeared. He slashed down towards the body of the skeleton with full force unhesitatingly. But the sword was just repelled. It was as if the bones of this skeleton were so thick that not even his sword that was made from Calcite ore, one of the rarest ores in the world augmented by the strength of a Level 3 Xiantian could break it.

Wang Tian felt amazed by what he had witnessed. 'If the bones of this skeleton were so powerful then how powerful was his skin? Moreover, how powerful would one must be to possess bones as powerful as this?'

He then crouched and took a closer look at the ring that the skeleton was wearing..

"This ring is quite strange. Is It an artifact? Its wielder has become a skeleton and yet it still remains?" Wang Tian took the ring and looked at it thoroughly. Surprisingly, nothing bad happened unlike any other time were bad things kept happening.

Wang Tian fiddled with the ring with his hands as he walked even farther from where he originally was.

"Thud thud thud" sounds of bodies hitting the floor echoed about. In an instant, the 9 elders appeared the same place as Wang Tian appeared before.

"Elder Li, do you know where we are?" One of the elders asked Elder Li.

Elder Li shook his head and said, "I don't know where we are but let's act with caution and find the way out of this place."

Wang Tian felt his face go numb when he heard these voices. "Shit how did they get here? Was the suction force so powerful that even those from 10000 kilometers away were brought in here?" Wang Tian mumbled to himself. He put the ring inside his bag of holding and then sneakily ran towards a pillar. The pillar was quite thick so Wang Tian thought that it would suffice as a cover. However, on his way there, Wang Tian stepped on a stick and the stick broke. The sound of it breaking reverberated across the whole palace. Wang Tian's face went pale. 'what is it with these sticks loitering around? In the forest where i stayed in, I accidentally crushed a stick and revealed my location! Now I did the same feat again!' He didn't know whether to laugh or cry at what just happened. His luck was so bad that he wanted to just dig up a hole and jump on it. Never wanting to reveal his face again.

The sound of the stick breaking was heard by the elders. They all simultaneously looked to where the sound came from.

"Wang Tian!" Elder Li shouted with anger.

He was really really angry this time. His losses overweighed his gains! This little brat did him so much damage that his heart hurt every time he recalled what happened! He lost 3 elders! They were 12 in total and then now they're only nine! They were all his brothers and allies who have always sided by him!

"Capture Wang Tian don't let him escape! He must pay for his sins!"

An elder shouted.

"Wang Tian accept your doom!" Another elder shouted.

They all chased after him while hurling curses. 'Oh shit, this is bad' Wang Tian thought to himself. He infused his feet with his Qi and then ran towards a random direction. It was not an easy feat to outrun almost a dozen Zifu realm experts especially in his current state where his body was aching with fatigue and the Dark Qi in his Dantian wasn't full.

"Wang Tian you cannot escape! Stop running and we may even grace you with leaving your corpse in one piece!" An elder shouted angrily but with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.

"Hmp! Do you consider me as that naive?" Wang Tian retorted and then sped up.

After a few moments of playing tag, Wang Tian saw a hole 20 meters away from him. It was closing and opening alternately between five seconds. Wang Tian didn't know where it was leading to but he had a feeling that it would turn out to be okay. Plus, he really didn't have any choice. He may be invincible but he doesn't qualify to fight against 9 Zifu realm experts simultaneously. Wang Tian rushed towards the hole and prayed to the heavens that his fortune was high so that the moment he jumped, the hole would open up and then close as to conceal his location. Wang Tian rushed towards the hole. The elders that were chasing him didn't know what was running inside Wang Tian's head and they also didn't know or notice that there was a hole up ahead simply because they were too focused on catching Wang Tian and cursing him to the point that they neglected their surroundings. I mean, who would let the killer of their brothers escape? If looks could kill, then Wang Tian would have died a thousand times already.

After a few moments they noticed Wang Tian jump towards the ground and then disappeared. "Huh? Where is he?" Elder Li stopped and then inspected the surroundings.

When Wang Tian jumped inside the hole and the hole opened, he knew that luck was on his side. However, the hole was so deep that Wang Tian kept falling and falling for the time it takes for half an incense stick to burn. Wang Tian landed on solid hard ground after that. "ah!" Wang Tian cried out loud. It was fortunate for him that his body was invincible otherwise he would have died from just the fall. But his body being invincible didn't save him from the immense pain that he was supposed to feel.

Wang Tian slowly got up and then slowly made a run for it. There was only one direction. Forward. He knew that those Zifu realm experts above would easily notice that there was a hole on the ground and it was within his expectations for them to momentarily arrive. Wang Tian decided to suppress the pain since this wasn't the place to recuperate.

"Elder Li look! There's a hole there!" An elder said. After that elder said that, another elder rushed forward while shouting, "for my brothers!" He was fortunate that his luck was not bad and the moment he jumped, the hole opened.

The other elders saw this and they followed quickly. Even that brother of theirs didn't care if he died or not! He was even shouting that it was for their dead brothers! They didn't consider themselves as cowards and what that elder did made their blood boil. Yes! Our brothers died because of that kid! We should not stop unless he's dead!

The elders followed quickly. The luck of the other elders were not that good. That's why they slammed hard onto the ground. They shrieked in embarassment and then jumped again with red faces.
