The Sect Leader went silent and then thought to himself,

'Wang Gui, I'm sorry brother but if what he said is correct then i can't unjustly choose to be on your side.'

The cunning Zhang Xuan saw that the Sect Leader was thinking. He sneered silently and thought to himself,

'what a fool'

When all of a sudden a voice broke the tense atmosphere.

"Who's there?! What's the ruckus about? You're all destroying my beauty sleep! No one can disturb this Young Master's beauty sleep! Even the gods in the sky can't!"

Zhang Xuan's heart nearly popped out when he heard the arrogant words that the voice let out.

He knew that this was his son that spoke!

The Sect Leader heard these arrogant words and his face turned unsightly. He was brimming with rage! This useless elder of his not only disobeyed him but also dared to lie to him! Now his son even dared to speak in such an arrogant tone in his presence!

"What arrogance!" He blurted out in anger.

"Time imprisonment!" He shouted with rage.

The time around Zhang Xuan and Zhang Xiaofeng stopped. The father and son duo's movements weren't restricted but if they tried to escape, their bodies would age rapidly until they died!

"Zhang Xuan, your status shall be stripped off of you! You two shall go into the Blood Forest and stay there for 3 years!"

"Blood forest?! No please Uncle no! Please have mercy on your nephew!" Zhang Xiaofeng knelt and pleaded.

"I'm sorry child but your arrogance really shocked me. You have not been raised well. This isn't entirely your fault but also your father's" Shangguan Yi said while feeling his heart ache.

"Sect Leader please! Have mercy on me! I have served you for hundreds of years now! Please don't send us to the Blood Forest! I can accept it if you strip my status off of me! But please don't send us to the Blood Forest!" Zhang Xuan said teary-eyed.

The Sect Leader sneered and said, "You disobeyed me and now you plead for mercy? What insolence!"

Zhang Xuan felt his heart ache when he heard these words. He then turned to Wang Gui,

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! IF YOUR SON DIDN'T INJURE MY OWN THEN NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE EVER HAPPENED!"

Zhang Xuan's eyes were blood red at this point. He was emanating killing intent. He roared and then dashed towards Wang Gui.

"I'D RATHER DIE THAN GO TO THE BLOOD FOREST!"

His 6 crystals appeared above his head and then one by one they all exploded giving him the power of an early stage Heavenly King!

He roared and then he sent a powerful beam towards Wang Gui! The Sect Leader was caught off guard by Zhang Xuan's decisiveness in wanting to kill Wang Gui.

"Brother Gui!!" The Sect Leader cried out. Seemingly forgetting that his Brother Gui would not be affected by it.

Wang Gui didn't even spare Zhang Xuan a glance. He snorted and then the beam disappeared, as if it wasn't even there.

Zhang Xuan stared at him, dumbstruck. 'I destroyed my cultivation just to kill you but you didn't even flinch! Moreover, the beam that I released disappeared! Are you really just a blacksmith?!' he thought to himself because he's lost so much strength that he couldn't even open his mouth. He coughed out mouthfuls of blood and then fainted.

"Father!" Zhang Xiaofeng cried out while running towards his half-dead father. The repercussions of exploding his own cultivation is quite dire. He may not survive this feat but even if he did, he would most probably be a cripple, a trash and a useless mortal.

The "Time imprisonment" spell that the Sect Leader casted did not come to effect because the Sect Leader was surprised by Zhang Xuan. Employing such a vicious skill was quite draining and needed a lot of focus. He then dispersed the spell when he saw that Zhang Xuan exploded his own cultivation because he knew that destroying one's cultivation is equivalent to destroying one's life! If his spell was added into the mix then Zhang Xuan would no doubt die!

"Take them away" The Sect Leader said and then all of a sudden, 3 figures clad in black appeared. They were all Wanxiang Adepth experts! "Brother is this..?" Wang Chen said nervously. He tried to conceal his excitement but his eyes sold him off.

"Yes brother, this is one of those pills." Wang Gui said.

" A Heavenly Rejuvenating Pill!" Wang Chen exclaimed.

"Shh. Your voice" Wang Gui whispered.

Wang Chen quickly shut his mouth. He looked around and said,

"Brother, I can't accept this... This is too much. This is too expensive. You keep it for nephew Wang Tian." He then grabbed Wang Gui's hands and placed the pill on it.

"Nonsense! Are we not brothers?" Wang Gui said while handing the pill back to Wang Chen.

"Brother..." Wang Chen said nervously.

"Wang Chen it's alright" Wang Gui said with a smile.

"Then I'll reluctantly take it." Wang Chen put the pill into his bag of holding and then suddenly became happy. Apparently this brother of his was only acting to be hesitant but actually really wanted to take the pill.

"Brother, is the myth about this pill accurate? Can this really heal 90% of one's injuries?" Wang Chen asked Wang Giu with skepticism.

Wang Gui nodded and then said, "use it on Jhiayi'er. It is sure to make him feel a lot more better".

"Naturally" Wang Chen replied with gratitude in his eyes. 'This is my brother! A person who could even give something as valuable as the Heavenly Rejuvenating Pill to his kin! I swear that I will never betray him! I will do my best in order to show my gratitude towards him.' Wang Chen thought to himself.

He put the apron on and chopped the chicken into small pieces and then put it into the frying pan. Next, he chopped the onions and garlic and also put them into the frying pan. He then chanted, "ecuas yos y akus!" And then out of thin air, black and white liquids poured into the pan.

Two hours passed in the blink of an eye.

"Sniff sniff" The half-asleep Wang Tian sniffed. He then opened his eyes and said,

"where is this wonderful scent coming from?!"

Wang Tian stood up and then magically floated towards the kitchen. His stomach grumbled when he saw what was on the table. Black colored chicken meat with brown liquid served on a big cup. It had pepper scattered all over the meat with a brown vegetable cut into tiny pieces. He then looked at a figure humming a melodic tune wearing an apron. This figure was his father!

"Sit down son, and let's eat.", His father said.

He then nodded and excitedly sat down on the chair. He grabbed a chicken leg and then stuffed it into his mouth. He then screamed, "ahh so good!" and then continued to eat. Wang Gui watched Wang Tian eat with a smile on his face. "Do you like the dish?"

Wang Gui asked. Wang Tian said while holding a chicken leg in his right arm,

"it's delicious father! What is it called?"

"It's called 'oboda'. A famous cuisine in the devil's land."

"Devivils schland faf-ther?" Wang Tian said while eating the chicken leg.

"Yes son, the devil's land. My boy, don't eat when your mouth is full" Wang Gui said merrily.

'Devil's Land?' Wang Tian thought to himself. He gulped down the chicken leg and then asked,

"where is the devil's land located father?"

"At a far away place my son. Now eat up" Wang Gui replied and then fed Wang Tian with the vegetable.

'It looks like father doesn't want to talk about it.'

After about the time an incense stick takes to burn, the two finished eating.
