1.04 Result of the fight

“Never knew this trash can fight?.. I may have underestimated him.” Though in the video that Tommy watched Sura won due to underhanded methods, but he can’t overlook the matter that Sura still continued to fight all alone even after being beaten so much.

Tommy was not frustrated anymore, though Sura appeared to be an eyesore for him, seeing his state at the end of fight some of his anger and grievance were quenched, if Sura didn’t get in his way and come close to Yemming again, he didn’t need to be bothered up again, he was a section A student, already achieved hunter Rank, if he continued to be bothered with him, he will make his own name infamous.

“Yo.. Tommy! You heard.. that kid you hit got into a fight with 8 students from section B.. and even won, though he pulverized the other sides private parts.”

Guan Law, rank 9 in section A, even though section consisted of 30 students, the section A were the cream crop of the whole Sun Scripture, and so being rank 9 is same as rank nine in the whole 4th year.

Guan was unlike other students in class, he liked to make fun of everyone and get on their nerves, he never tried to mess with the students rank higher than him, but students like Tommy, he would always find time.

“Say Tommy… I heard your girl like this boy… and seeing him fight, he isn’t that b…”

“Shut up Law! Don’t bother him!” Guan was like a rat, always putting his nose in other people’s business, and seeing Guan bother, his friend Deesio who ranked 4th came to help.

“Get the hell away!” Deesio had a huge build, and being handsome to the extreme, he was sought out after the girls in the class. He was a kind of celebrity in the class.

Seeing the imposing figure of Tommy, Guan gulped down and backed down, his policy was to only mess with people at lower level than him. And seeing Guan walk away with an expression saying ‘what have I done wrong?’, Deesio looked at his childhood friend.

“Tommy! I already told you not to mess with that trash.. he isn’t worth it and even Yemming confessed that she contacted him to get her heirloom fixed.”

“I know… but I don’t know why I got so angry that day….. I sent those guys just to teach him that my family is not so easy to be scared. Don’t worry, I will not bother with him again.”

“Well! what’s done is done, FSA Hunter competition is just around the corner, you need to catch up to me quick, don’t forget we will participate together!” Deesio said with a smile on his face, even he didn’t know why his good friend got so angry that day, and Tommy was even hit by his father because of his action, his father being one of the associate in guild lightening fang held a lot of prestige, so Tommy always acted taking his family into account.

As Deesio was trying to cheer up Tommy.

“Haha!! Well he got famous in the campus because of me… he should thank me!” Tommy was laughing, looking at his Deesio, his eyes tend to say he already forgot about Sura already, he had bigger things to achieve, the upcoming competition is more important than dealing with a trash from section D.

“That’s the Tommy I know…. Well let’s go to gym, your SC is already close to 120, all you need to do to get into top 10 is to increase your SC by 7 more.”

Agreeing with his friend, Tommy stood up and followed Deesio to gym. And Deesio is right, I got bigger matters to attend to.. I can’t waste time with this fool.

“Sura!... that’s wrong… beatin….” Remembering the video Brohimir changed his words a little.” Punching, kicking, headbutting and elbowing a guy in the crotch is not good…. It’s wrong I tell you.. it’s wrong!”

Sura’s eyes were red due to scared of being possessed and which made him awake whole night, though the first few hours he was interested in artificial assistant Sora, but that interest died too due to over exhaustion of the fight and the thing that may be living inside of him.

If it was shame or what, sura didn’t understand, but hearing his friend comment on his fight, Sura can only look down in shame.

“Now you feel shameful… I can’t believe you broke the gentleman code, I can understand if it’s a chick… but you.. A man may die, but he shall never punch his killer’s balls.”

Brohimir kept pestering him about the way he fought, completing forgetting about that his friend got into fight right after coming out of hospital and he even won, what was in Brohimir’s mind was that his friend attacked the manhood of his attackers. Now that’s what good friends are famous for.

Both of them didn’t notice as one was talking non-stop and the other one was looking down, but all the time, the other students in the campus looked at Sura with odd eyes, the boys felt a cold blowing through their crotch every time they looked at him, and the girls would talk about Sura like he was some rare animal.

After enough of time has passed and Sura and Brohimir were sitting in class, their teacher came.

“Today we will take a mock test on history, as you already know exam is right on the corner and the syllabus is already completed, so from today onwards we will commence a series of test to get you used to the upcoming exam.”

Section D for every year, was the class with the worst talent for gathering SC in the whole academy, though they will reach hunter rank someday, but considering their talent they will never advance to master stage, and the highest they can do is become low level soldier who get to only wield hot weapons, and overlook transportation of resources and do other minor job, they will become the perfect public servant required by the community.

As the exam began and Sura looked at the paper with drowsy eyes, his face got ugly.

The question was a simple one, it simply asked about the Dark age and to write a short note on it..

It wasn’t that he didn’t know the answer, but picking up the pen, he can see his hand shaking, due to the fight yesterday, his knuckles were still hurt, and considering he didn’t get any sleep, his hand eye coordination was a mess.

He looked around to find everyone in the class was immersed in the test, even Brohimir has activated his serious mode.

Can’t lose now….. This is just a mock test….! Remember the feeling. Remembering the other day, where he ignored all the pain, Sura grabbed the pen and continued to write. His neural link is totally useless during class, even though he had integrated Sora with his watch and brain which can act like a great cheat, all of it was jammed in the classroom.

“The beginning of the Dark age is the Year 0000, it was when, in the Heavenly Profound Kingdom got corrupted with strange miasma, which turned all its inhabitants into demonic beast or whatnot, that was when the half of the world was consumed by demonic beast and the civilization was on the brink of extinction, if not for the joint effort of various Deity rank experts, the civilization would have soon consumed by the demonic invasion. To attend to the demonic problem, the civilization have to make use of hunter rank experts, even though they were useless in fights in direct fight as they can’t utilize the artifacts power to full extent, the civilization tried a different approach, instead of using essence energy to fuel their artifact, they found different sources of energy and used them to advance and weaponize their army with new weapon, they were more advanced and more efficient and the hot weapon that were made can even make a normal Human rank expert to be a unstoppable force. Using heat weapons they were able to keep low level demonic beast at bay, and after a border was drawn, the fight came to a stale mate, the corrupt land could not be cleansed, even after the joint efforts of all the great minds of that time they could not solve it, but the biggest problem the civilization faced during their fight with demonic beast was the deeper they venture into the corrupt territory, if their SC is not higher, a person’s body will get poisoned and he will inevitably die, And after 300years the first Deity rank expert that went deeper in demonic territory, came back poisoned, whole body filled with demonic miasma, he soon died. Now is year 1317, and not much advance has been made in the corrupt territory.”

The second question was about the fallen Heavenly Profound Kingdom.

“Heavenly profound kingdom was existed before the dark age which was at the peak of prosperity, when the other states fought and killed each other to rise to superiority, the Heavenly Profound Kingdom just stood by the side and lived like a hegemon, no other states tried to compete with Heavenly profound Kingdom as it was being overlooked by multiple Deity rank experts, because of concentration of spirit essence in the fallen kingdom, all the rare herbs and treasures were unearthed there. This is the also reason why the FSA still venture out in the cursed territory.”

After answering some more questions, Sura fall down and went to sleep in the class during exam, he was only complete halfway.

Watching the video on the screen, the principal didn’t know what to say, in front of him stood the 8 boys who were the instigator of fight.

“You boys got into fight with a 4rth year student from section D, even if I ignore that you had a reason for your action, but you instigated fight just outside the campus wearing your academy uniform and in front of the public…” Fuming with anger, the principal looked at them and reading the name of Sura from the computer continued. “Go and call this Sura, I will give out punishment to you group together.”

The fight breaking out in front of the academy and what ensued after that would make the name of their academy look bad. The only way to quench this bad publicity is to punish the ones responsible for the fight.

Sura was little surprised being called out to principal office during his sweet sleep, he seem to be in the control of his body even now and not have become someone else. He already know the reason for his summon was the fight of yesterday, as the one who called out to him during class was one of the boys from yesterday.

Reaching the office he saw the other 7 boys with the principal sitting in the chair fuming with anger. He looked up at Sura and said.

“Helius Sura… you and the other present here are suspended from school for the next 3 weeks…. I don’t have time for any of your excuses, even if you were just defending yourself, you still fought outside the academy campus and injured a classmate, do you have any question?”

“No sir!”

“Alright, from today onwards… you bunch will sit at home and will think about what you have done.! Any questions?”

“No sir”x9

“Go now!” gesturing Sura and the other students with his hand to get out, the principal closed his eyes.

After the students have left the school. The principal watched the video again, even though the way Sura fought was very unconventional, but he did stood against 8 students.

The principal sighed at the luck of his student, Sura just got out of accident and now being suspended, will not look good on his report card.

The principal looked at the time, and after thinking for a while. “Kumhara! Call Tommy Wimbledon and Yemming RItvik of 4th year section A.

Somewhere in distance wilderness.

“This place is good!!”

“Yeah…… the highest level beast here is level 3… it’s the best place to start the competition.”

Riding a military grade X-Wing class 5, 2 men looked down at a huge island while standing at the wing’s cockpit.

“Mam! Do you have any suggestions?”

A beautiful lady in a military vest sitting looked up at the man, unlike other women from the city, she looked more refined and rough too. Her age seemed to be only around 25.

“No!! this place is good… it’s the best place to train those tender city kids!”

She smiled while saying that, her smile gave the other 2 officers a chill down their spine.

This is going to be good.
