"Now I have seen how enamored you are with the water young lady and I must say that I aprove. So with that being said I have decided to tell you how to take the measure of a man."

"Anyone that is worth you time will usally make it aparent quickly. It is the little ticks that will tell you more about someone then they ever will. If the clench their fist or throw stuff out the window? How often they lie and about what? The most important thing that you can learn is how to read people."

"Go on a deep sea fishing tour some time and have a good time. Respect the ocean for her beuaty and fury. Clean up the garbage in her and make her shine. She will treat you fine."

"Now how about I tell you a story about how I learned to take a mans measure with just a handshake."

I was young and foolish at the time just going to look into a deal my friend was promised on a new car. He asked me to go with him and see about it because he needed a ride over there and I had a car. That was it.

When we got there the usal stick came about and he was shown a car that looked good. Well he was sold and shook the mans hand to accept the deal. I saw it from the side and something in my mind clicked.

I told my dear friend that 'I would like to shake the hand of the man that was setting him up.'

My friend of course thought nothing of the words that I used but I could see that the dealer was in mild distress. He shook my hand and that was when I knew for sure. Something was not right here and we needed to figure out what or get out of dodge.

I looked at my friend and said 'lets pop the hood and take a look at the motor' at which poing the dealer said that he didn't think that would be necessary. At this point my friend cought on that something was not right.

We poped the hood and starting poking aroung at the motor. It was then that we noticed all the dry rot on the pipes. The would all need to be replaced. Now it can be said that teenagers are dumb and I must admit that it is sort of true because instead of walking away we decided to try and find more stuff wrong with the car.

Took off a good tire to find that the breaks were shot and the whole assembaly would need to be replaced. the gass tank was rusted and the muffler was busted. The frame itself was slightly bent and that is just what we could find. We started talking about the car as loudly as we could and attracted everyone else in the lot.

We were quickly kicked out but not before ruining he business for the day.
