"A good night don't you agree? Yes I would say that was a good night. Now on to business, lets go check the lines and prep a fire for breakfeast. We will put the lines back with more bait and then get on with our day."

"Lock step now, nobody falls behind. When we get back to the sight we will start the fires and cook breakfeast with coffee for all, get ready for the day, and go cannoing. Whats the point of being out here if we do not have a little fun?"

"That was nice don't you think, now lets set up some traps in the rabit trails that I saw before the day gets going. We got everthing taken care of and can now enjoy a day on the lake. Make sure you all wear your swimming clothes in case you capsize."

"After today is winding down lets tell scary story's what do you say?"

It was a dark and stormy night. The wind howled through the trees and the river was raising was fast. The village was close to being swollowed by the waves that raged around them. Lightning smashed the ground and splintered the oldest trees around them. The rains fell and the water rose higher.

A great big chasm was cut through the middle of town destroying so much that was built. Houses were swept away and anyone that did not make it to high enough ground drowned and was swept away. Those taken by the waves were never seen again. That is to say that nobody lived to tell the tale from seeing them.

Only a blind man ever escaped them to bring news of what had haunted the cursed town and why so many people ended up drowning ever single year. The victims of that flood that had become legendary were taking those that got away, and those that did not. They had lost their way in the wrath and just wanted others to suffer as they had suffered.

So they took and took until the familys moved away and the town was abandonedfor good. That was a mistake that the world still regrets to this day. The curse followed them and takes from across the entire world. The move to the ruins of what was once a great place and drown themselves when the storms come.

If you ever meet a descendant of those poor souls you should pray that the ghost do not come for you. Because if they do its down the drink for you.
