I was going to ride across the country on my motorcycle and needed to pack light but with enough stuff to get by. I tossed in my tool bag for good measure and was on my way. I was going to ride through the county and onto the next.

It may not seem like that great of a thing but that was the first time that I had left home, the first time that I had stuck my neck out like that. It was the first grand advernture that I would be undertaking. I had always planed to go on many such trips but this would be the first that would teach me how to go farther. I only planed to ride around the state and see what my home had to offer.

I learned that a tool bag is not something that you want to take. I to be blunt, helped to build 4 houses while on my journey. I had skills that would work anywhere but to use them required me to put down roots. It was on this trip that I learned something interesting that I am good at.

You see I was good at finding places to eat that were above the average for fair. On all of my travels I made sure to eat and let others going there know what was good to eat. You will be amazed at how much people are willing to pay for good food. It was just a matter of marketing it which became far easier with the internet and then became normal in todays world.
