"I have decided that on next Tuesday we shall have a picnic so if you can bring all of your familys and something to eat. I myself shall bring pie's, salsa, dip, and other baked goods but I would like to try your favorite foods."

"I know that it may seem inane to you but it would really make my day. You see it has always been a passion of mine to try new things and talk about how the world is going lately and if we are being frank I have not had the chance to do so recently."

"Would you young chaps like to make an old mans day. Yes, yes by all means bring your entire family. The more the maryier. It reminds me of the picnic we had when I was just a wee lad myself."

Food! Food as far as the eye can see. The entire town had shown up for the picnic that was planned by 3 well know residents that were famed for their cooking. We dedided to make a day of it back then you know, why we ever stoped doing it I will never know.

I got together with my Mom, Dad, and Sister to make pie's and cookies for the gathering. All I new was that there would be free food and wanted to go and have fun with all of my friends.

We decided to make a day of the cooking and mess up the whole kitchen. So we started by making apple pie. Then we made peach cobler. Chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies were what followed them out.

It did not take long for us to start having things ready to go into the ovens as soon as they came out. We started working like a well oiled machien and did not stop all day. We just opened the windows to let in that spring air and kept on cooking while enjoying ourselves.

When we got to the picnic I took my sister and went of with my friends to fly our kites that we had made. Not like the ones that you can by in the stores now days but proper kites.
