《Am i spoiled?》(3) Why should I? {Part 1}

One sibling was looking on. Eyes flashing with astonishment and interest while the other had a look of dismissal and a deadpan expression whilst hoping he was graphically displaying how much of a bother all of this is.
Jin honestly hoped his deadpan expression would somehow convey that he wants nothing to do with the demon lord.
He once read a certain novel where the mc allowed him self to be dragged around on the peoples whims and in the end the very same person whom was the priest who lead the mc on the path to become a hero was the very same person who was behind the war.
Jin could see many reasons why such a war would start and he could understand but that doesnt mean he has to care. He and his sister just arrived to this world.
He will make sure that he and his sister enjoy their second chance.
For now Jin had to aquire information about this world. He didnt know much but the novels an manga that hes read give him only a slight idea of the common sense of another world but that doesnt mean the map or the powers will be the same. He of all people knew how even the the species could be different. One world could have gigantic insects as the demon race in the world while another may have unnatural monsters where on earth you could never find the mix of a lion and a goat. on earth such things were considered fairy tale.
Now that me and my sister have been thrown into this world lets have fun and go on an adventure.
"I know you all dont really understand. This situation may also be something completely unexpected to some of our heroes?" The king said with as he studied the other summoned heroes in the room.
I too looked around and studied the others present. They looked like school student and their eyes fell on eachother with shocked faces. But they faces were slightly different as they looked at me.
As i studied them i saw that as they looked at me they no longer looked shocked. They were visibly shaken.
"What, what are you all staring at? Is there something on my face?" I asked but my inquiry only served to echo off the large open space of the palace halls.
Getting no answer from those present i looked at my self and noticed my clothes werent my pajamas at all. What i wore now was my in game outfit. It consist of a reapers cloak, long ass horns that curved to the back of my head. I lifted my hand to feel them and on the journey around my head i found i had a second set of horns. This is of course part of my outfit in SSO.
I also wore some Armor as dark as pitch, made of a mix of the strongest materials you could find in game. Noticing i was wearing what i last had equipped. In SSO id quickly sent my eyes to check for my eyes.
As expected i couldnt find my eyes. This was all part of my gear in game. I couldnt find my eyes not because i didnt have eyes but because these were my eyes. Hollow sockets said to be dark as tartarus as the game designers said plenty of times thats what they were aiming for. But man...

"..."
I loved these eyes!! They werent just simple vanity. No flashy spells worked before me with these equipped an these eyes had a special function to draw in energy from around you to be used by the wearer. Not only was the design cool as hell but there were countless times i would have died a brutal death if not wearing these eyes when someone attempted to gouge my eyes out or sometimes id just spook people out since i had not much else to do.
After i finished reaching the pinnacle power in that world there wasnt much left to do. I used to own a guild but after reaching the top began to fade into the background like some sort of God i watched over my guild and helped them here and there but i had quite a bit of free time with which id find some adventurers(players) teaming up on one monster.
As one of the players at the apex in the world Its not a surprise people recorded my game play and it went viral but this one time an 3 man party teamed up on a lamia but me being a gentleman I stepped in.
Just as a knights sword was going in for the kill i put up a finger and stopped it just at the lamia's neck. I carelessly put my finger to the edge of the blade and applied pressure.
"W-what the!? Who the hell are you?"
"You monkey do you not see that swinging your sword frivolously you scared this lady?" I said while pushing the player back by the sword. The lamia behind me was a monster designed to attack players on sight so it shouldnt be long before its done glitching in stupor.
"Y-youre that crazy bastard!! The one who helps these npcs and monsters. I cant see why the hell you have such power!"
"Hey im just wandering around-"
"Dont lie!! Im going to report this. A game master going around leisurely helping monsters and PKing players. Hehe."
"Right then you will be facing more than a ban from the game haha" the archer spoke agreeing with the knight.
"But im not a game master im just a player-" I was interrupted as the player notched an arrow and fired it into my hollow eye sockets. I frowned and took a step forward at the blatant disrespect and also these baseless asumptions.
"Its to late lolz ive already sent a report. Soon this game will be rid of such a foolish game master."
I grinned thinking about the last time i fought game masters. The players stepped back.
"Theres nothing you can do so give it up and wait patiently until they arrive-"
"HAHAHAHa what happened to all that cobfidence from before? Me bastard? You were also just laughing just moments ago so..." With a malicious grin i step forward causing them to step back with their backs against a large tree.
"Is this all you bastards amount to? Is finding the report button what noobs are actually about these days? What you amount to is even less than dirt as such since im above such filth let me demonstrate that by trampling you dirty bastards like you should be." i said and cracked my neck while applying my [slaughter intent] it hit the players and this is something far worse than the plague as these players were immediately reduced to blood spots.

After that i made short work of the game masters and we parted with a few apologises.
Right now i couldnt be more happy to see that my game gear had come along i took a moment to check my inventory and noticed i had 9 more inside. There were only a total of 12 in the game. 2 more had been snatched up by my friend soda and the rest were distributed throught the top ranking players in my guild. But i had to kill a few players and convince them to let me have them first.
After the trip down memory lane i refocused my attention on the summoned heroes and the others present. There were 16 high ranking guards. 4 high ranking mages. A princess, queen and prince both at her side as she stood before her throne.
someone came from the hall and quickly made his way to the queen with something on hand.
"Queen ive brought the tablets which youve requested."
"Yes you have done well. Now stand back i have to see to our guest." She said as she eyed me.
Right about now i was thinking it wouldnt be best to make everyone suspicious of me so i quickly pulled up my status menu as i would in game and there i found my new mod menu and cheat menu!
So it seemed they kept their word i noted as i scrolled pass those and right beneath my options i found my [instant equip] it was used to store outfits players put together themselves and if they didnt want to equip manually this was another way.
I immediately scrolled throught my options and equipped a more normal outfit. Its bonus stats didnt really matter as i was more than capable of handling a situation.. I hope. This new world is still just a variable for me and since thats the case ill make nice for now.
The outfit i chose to equip was a casual void black overcoat embroiden in gold silk, over a black button top, black pair of jeans, and boots.
I had an outfit like that was far more scary than the one i currently had on. I would have equipped it if i did not lack so much information. I frown because of this. The laugh I would have if id seen their face had i worn this.
Re-equipped gained me some shocked faces but nothing worth while so i kept on with a listless expression. If she doesnt ask then ive no reason to tell.
Sensing i was done the queen coughed. Pulling the heroes attention once more.
"*cough* heroes my servent has brought me something which will help to acertain your talents. I would ask that you take one use it on your self. A few of my guards will come around to see to you should you need a hand."
So from there the transparent tablets were passed out. I allowed my sister to take one simply so that we dont seem any more suspicious. (Thought maybe it was more me than her)
With a dagger the guards began assisting the student in cutting them selves. I took some time which is understandable sense on earth it isnt common for you to have to cut your self or people coming at you with a nice saying in a gentle tone
"Ill cut you quick and easy. It wont hurt a bit."
I quickly pull a dagger from my own inventory and take care of things for me an my sister on my own. In the end she only winced slightly and dropped her blood to the tablet and gave me a smile. Shes strong.
But before the tablet can show her true status i modify it a little just in case. I dont want them manipulating her at all. If shes revealed as an undead they might just kill her on the spot.
After a few change this is what they will see of her status.
This is the result.

My own status screen had shown my hp, mana, agi, def, will, etc just like in SSO but i figure its just a nuisance so i had made it invisible. Now it looks like i edited of my status screen but its much better for me.
Anyway I gave her some of my own skills and blink as a form of teleportation. I would have given her my [dimensional shift] but she isnt the type to be so over powered at the start so blink is more than enough. Her wishes were made as insurance to be sure with just some effort she could be OP. But of course she would have to work first.
I also gave her the title. This here is very important. This way i feel far more better about my sisters well being. Well what does it do? Thats a secret of course!
When the guard came around he was ready to cut us for our blood but had put his knife away as he noticed our tablets already had our blood on them.
"Oh.. Capable brat arent you?" He said with a smirk then turned his back and stalked off to give his report to his Queen with the rest of the guards.
All of us were done and ready to find out our status when...

Wildling
Blurb: Silas--a scavenger living off the ruins of humanity--has spent his entire life fighting tooth and nail to provide for himself and his crew. But when a scavenging run goes awry and he's snatched up by an android patrol, he finds himself thrown into a cage and priced to sell as a pet. And when a suitor comes calling, he fears the worst: that he'll be turned into a Domestic, a human lapdog brainwashed into total obedience. Instead, he discovers an equally disturbing truth: that the creatures who stole his world have created a videogame the likes of which Earth has never seen; a sprawling, game-like theme park where humans are the Avatars and androids are the players who control them. And to make matters worse, his android guide is as hopeless as they come, having gotten all of her previous Avatars killed in record time. So if Silas wants to regain his freedom, he'll not only have to fight his way through a world that was specifically designed to murder him in brutal fashion--he'll also have to convince his android guide that he should be the one calling the shots. FAQS: Q: Who are you, handsome stranger? A: I'm Kyle Kirrin, the author of Shadeslinger, book 1 of The Ripple System, published by Portal Books, and I write crunchy LitRPG. Q: What is Wildling? And is it complete? A: Wildling is a crunchy LitRPG mash up of Fantasy and Science Fiction. And yup, Wildling is already complete at 64 chapters, or about 120,000 thousand words. You're looking at something like a third draft here--it's fairly polished, but it hasn't been picked over by a copy editor yet nor has my developmental editor seen it. Q: Upload schedule? A: 5 initial chapters today (2/15/2021) and one chapter a day for the next month. After that I'll probably slow down to 2 or 3 chapters a week until the story is complete. Q: How crunchy is it? A: It's pretty crunchy. I'd put it on the same tier as Ascend/The Land/RSSG, but it might be a bit crunchier than those three? Q: Is this the first book in a series or a web novel or what? And what are your plans for it? A: It's currently a standalone with series potential. Full disclosure: this story may head the way of my publisher eventually, but will be available on RR for quite a while no matter what. Likely several months after it's complete with plenty of warning before/if it's taken down. Q: What kind of build does the MC create? A: Sword and board! Q: Crafting? A: Plenty! Crafting isn't as center stage as it is in The Way of the Shaman, but it's close. Q: Base building? A: Two fully separate, distinct bases, both of which play a major role in the story. Q: VRMMO? Portal? Reincarnation or what? A: This one's a bit tricky. Basically an advanced race has created a game-like world that closely resembles a theme park. Think Westworld but with copious amounts of loot. And the MC has to fight his way through that to earn his freedom. Q: Permadeath? A: Nope! The MC gets 3 lives to play through the entirety of the game world, and death is extremely punishing, but not fatal. Q: Harem? Or romance? A: No and no. Q: Cursing? Blood? A: Quite a bit of cursing, yeah. There's blood, too, but it's not a gory book by any means. Q: How can I support? A: Instead of a Patreon/donations etc, I'd ask that you consider giving my debut LitRPG Shadeslinger a chance. It's free on Kindle Unlimited and the audio is already out narrated by Travis Baldree. It's an epic fantasy VRMMO where the main character gets 3 days of exclusive access to a new game plus a snarky, talking axe to guide him through it in exchange for agreeing to become the target of a serverwide manhunt once the Head Start period ends. Q: How's it similar to Wildling? And how's it different? A. The crunch level is very similar, but Shadeslinger is a much lighter, epic fantasy take on the genre. It's also VRMMO, but without any real world components aside from the first chapter. The MC is very different--he comes off as a bit of a jerk early on and can take a bit to warm up to, especially before his backstory is revealed--but he's also got a talking axe that constantly puts him in his place. Shadeslinger's a much more humorous story in general, and it's a great deal more polished as well. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy Wildling!

The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.
