It was the final court hearing of the case between Mr. Alexander Meyers and Mrs. Danielle Meyers.

It was a famous case being held on TV screen where everyone can watch it.

Veronica Hampton was sitting down on her office, her laptop in front of her as she watch the trial.

"Your honor, Catherine Meyers Hampton was loved by my client. He provided for her. Sent her to the best school in the whole of United States of America. If my client had anything else planned for her he wouldn't have let her acquire education. My client is innocent." The defendant attorney claimed.

"Objection, your honor." Said the plaintiff as he stood up from his chair.

"Overruled, Defendant, you can continue."

Veronica Hampton balled her hand in a tight fist and slammed it on the desk.

She grabbed the telephone on her desk and speak into it get inside my office right now, Mereda.

A few seconds later she walked inside the office standing in front of Veronica Hampton.

"You call for me Mrs Hampton." She said and Veronica hummed.

"I want you to call attorney Kim right now things are not going the way I want it you should find a way real quick before everything be done for." She commanded. Mereda nodded her head and quickly dialed attorney Kim's number on the phone.

"Hello this is Mereda, Mrs Veronica Hampton secretary." Mereda said and listen intently for a while before adding. "Mrs Hampton is watching the court case right now and she is not happy with how the defendant attorney is talking to her daughter-in-law you have to do something about it before everything distorted."

"Tell Mrs Thomson that our lawyers are working on it, things will go back to normal." Attorney Kim retorted calmly.

"Okay, I will let her know." Mereda hung up the call and turned to look at Veronica Hampton.

"He said that they're working on it and everything will be back to normal." She explained.

Veronica Hampton stood up from her chair and walked to where she hang her jacket on the rack and grabbed it.

"When is my meeting with Rodney Hamilton?" She inquired as she wore her jacket.

"By 12:30 p.m in Whitewich hotels. His secretary called in a few minutes ago to remind you about it." Mereda informed and Veronica nodded her head. She grabbed her bag and started walking towards the door with Mereda walking behind her.

"Mrs Catherine Meyers Hampton, can you please tell this court your experience while living with Mr Alexander Meyers and his wife." Attorney Kim said to Catherine. She raised her eyes up in search for Ace and when she found him he gave her a thumb up. Catherine took a deep breath and stared at Attorney Kim.

"My first year of living with them was good. He and his wife took care of me, told me that my mother died after the accident. I believed them. The other years was tough. I get vocally abused by Vivian Meyers while her husband said nothing. They sent me to school, I was grateful until on my 18th birthday when he presented a document stating that I'll be transferring my right as Meyers Enterprise successor to him. I didn't remember about that company because I temporarily lost my memory at that time. I refused to sign it and he hit me in the face then sent me out of his house in the middle of the night." Catherine explained and wipe the corner of her eyes with an handkerchief.

"Mrs Hampton, how did you learnt about him being the reason behind your family's misfortune?"

"Objection my Lord, the plaintiff is trying to coerce unnecessary statement from Mrs Hampton." The defendant claimed but the judge raised his hand and signalled for Attorney Kim to continue.

"Overruled, plaintiff, you can continue."

"Thank you , my Lord." Attorney Kim turned to Catherine and cocked his head to the side. "I learnt that it wasn't just your father and mother that was affected by Alexander Meyers actions but your father in-law as well, what do you have to say about that?"

"My husband, Ace Hampton has always been close with his father and after his father's death he had a severe depression which led to him keeping to himself. He lost his best friend that day and I lost mine as well. Please serve us both justice, My Lord." Catherine cried. Watching her at the stand begging for justice, Ace couldn't help but smile proudly.

He wasn't sure if she could do it. He was worried that she might break down and wouldn't be able to form a correct sentence but she did it.

"Thank you for your time, Mrs Hampton." Attorney Kim said and went to stand before the court. "We don't need further prove it statement to confirm that Alexander Meyers and Vivian Meyers are criminals that is dangerous to the society, I call on this good court of law to serve justice as usual."

"Do you think we're going to win this case?" Mrs Meyers asked Attorney Kim who just smiled at her and had his intern hand over a bottle of water to her.

"I am the head of the Hampton's legal team. I've never lost a case under Hampton name before, everything will be just fine." He whispered to her and she nodded with a soft smile.

Attorney Kim went back to his seat as they wait for the Jurys judgement and the Judge's statement.

Attorney Kim glanced back at Ace and nodded his head.

"After listening to all the evidence and the blatant confession in disguise made by Vivian Meyers while visiting her husband in the cell, The Jury and the Judge find Alexander and Vivian Meyers guilty of their charges, this court hereby send Alexander Meyers to 40 years in prisonment with hard labor and Vivian Meyers to 30 years for being an accomplice." The jury said and slammed his gavel on the desk. Attorney Kim grabbed his phone from the table and quickly typed a message in the message box. "We did it, again."
