Ace was laying down on the bed pressing his phone. He had a zoom meeting with his mother and some employees a few minutes ago and he was just intending to get out of the bed.

The bedroom door was pulled open and Catherine walked in. She was wearing a black short and a white camisole, her hip length golden hair was packed up in a high ponytail and her face free of make up.

“You done with the meeting, Babe?” She whispered asked as she walk into the room. Ace's mouth lifted in a small smile as he tapped his side of the bed for her to sit on.

Catherine chuckled at his gesture and slowly walked up to him, she slipped her feet out if her slippers and climbed on the bed. She placed her hand on his chest and stared inside her phone. "How was the meeting?" She inquired curiously.

Ace slowly caress her back as she talk to him. The best leisure for him is hearing her talk. Her voice sounds like music to his ear and her touch set his body aflame. The kind of attraction he felt for her was totally new and immature, he never felt it with anyone before.

He carefully dropped his phone on the nightstand drawer and fully wrapped his hand around her. He sighed softly and kissed her forehead. "The meeting was good." He uttered and put his finger under her chin, he raised her face up and her eyes met his. "You look fabulous, I just want to have you like this all day long."

Catherine smiled shyly, half of her hand covering her face as she laughed. She finds it funny that Ace would be thinking about that when they should be outside having lunch.

"You wish, Babe. I'm famished and need to eat before I pass out on you." She giggled softly and kissed his cheek then rolled out of his arm. She climbed down the bed and advanced towards the mirror. "Should we go to the Cafe opposite the building? I don't want to go anywhere distant from here."

Ace hummed and got down from the bed as well. He straightened his shirt and slipped inside the bathroom. After he was done with what he was doing he walked back inside the bedroom and met Catherine still looking at herself on the mirror.

"Put on a top then we will leave." He told her before leaving the room.

Catherine went to the closet and changed her camisole into one of her husband's big shirt which almost covered her black short after wearing it.

She grabbed her phone from the bed as well and walked out of the room.

As Ace and Catherine sat down inside the cafe, drinking their coffee and doughnuts, she couldn't stop her eyes from wandering around the cafe. It was just a few people inside it but she was just being careful.

The case gain a lot of traction from people and a lot are suddenly interested in her private life.

Alex Meyers said in court that Ace's love for her wasn't genuine and he was only using her to take revenge of the accident between her father and his. He also testified that the first step of revenge was Veronica Hampton buying Meyers Enterprise as her own.

Of course she knew that it wasn't true. No one knows about her personal life more than she does, but people always run along with the narrative that fit their algorithm.

She and Ace were the only one who knew about their love story. They are the ones in love and seeing other people trying to play lecturers on top of her marriage annoyed her.

"Stop that," Ace mumbled, she raised her eyebrows at him and bite on her doughnut.

"Stop what?" She queried. She didn't understand what he was talking about.

Ace placed his elbow on the table and stared into her eyes. "You are thinking too much. Trying to put the puzzles together, trying to be a step ahead but it isn't working. You're only stressing yourself out and I don't want that." He responded calmly, he wiped off the foam of coffee on her bottom lip and smiled. "I'll take care of everything."

But she didn't want him to take care of everything. She wanted to do something as well other than depending on her husband to do it for her.

"I just have a hunch that I will be call into stand during the next court session." She mumbled. "I don't know what to say. You saw how his lawyer was almost accusing Mom of what she didn't do."

Ace straightened himself and sighed heavily. "It will be taken care of. I'll have about two of our lawyers to get you ready on how to speak, act and stand on your words." He whispered and glanced around the Cafe. "We will continue this discussion later."

Ace walked out of the closet dressed in a jeans trouser and a navy blue t-shirt. He and Catherine would be going tobthe club with their friends and he was just getting ready.

When he look up, he paused abruptly.

Catherine's choice of dress shocked him.

She was wearing a very tiny dress which its back was bare to the waist line. The hand was tiny and when she turned around to face him he left out a loud whistle.

A golden dress that looks expensive and stands out. He couldn't be more proud.

"You look hot in that outfit, Butterfly." He said as he walked up to her.

Catherine let out a shy smile and walked up to him.

"I can be a good girl during the day, but at night I'm a hoe for you." She whispered seductively.

Ace captured her lip in a fierce kiss, his hand wrapped around her neck as he swipe his tongue inside her mouth.

"I love my hoe," He whispered into her ear and suck her earlobe. "Let's go."
