As the wedding preparations were going on, Catherine was also busy sending invitation cards to some of her college friends.
Mrs Meyers flew in to New York two days ago and she has also been helping her with the preparation.
"Miss, someone is here for you." Margaret said to Catherine who was sitting inside the living room with Talia.
She glanced at Talia and raised her eyebrows. She wasn't expecting anyone and if it were to be her fiance, Margaret wouldn't have to announce his presence.
"Who is it?" She queried. Margaret stepped back and the visitors came forward.
Both Catherine and Talia gasped at the same time upon seeing the visitor.
A popular Versace designer.
"Good day, Miss Meyers. Mrs Hampton sent me to deliver this to you." The designer uttered politely.
Catherine stood up from the couch and cleared her throat.
"The wedding gown? The gown?" She asked.
"Yes, Miss Meyers," the designer dropped the huge box on the ground and opened it. She gently picked up the dress with the help of her fellow.
"Adorned with over 10,000 crystals, your wedding dress is one of a kind. My team and I made sure to give you the very best and I hope you like it."
Catherine covered her mouth with her palm and giggled uncontrollably. Like a schoolgirl.
The dress was still folded and she couldn't see it very well but she could tell that it was beautiful.
The woman placed back the dress inside the box and brought out four inches white heels.
"For you." She said and handed over the shoes to Catherine.
"Margaret, can you please call Mom? I would like her to see this." She said and Margaret rushed out of the living room.
"This is so beautiful. I love it." Catherine mumbled under her breath. "Thank you for the job well done. I appreciate your effort."
"Congratulations, on behalf of our company." Said the designer with a smile before turning around and walking out of the house.

Immediately the visitors left, Talia rushed towards the box.
"Wait a fucking minute, did aunt Veronica really paid for this? Wow!" She stated in total bewilderment. "This is so beautiful."
Catherine herself was speechless.
She just didn't know what to say.
"What is the commotion all about? I was having a nice nap." Mrs Meyers groaned as she climbed down the stairs.
"Mom! Come and take a look. My wedding dress just arrived and it's…. It's just so pretty!" Catherine screamed and twirled around on her flip flop. "I'm so blessed, Mom."
"I've got to see it first before stating my opinion." Her mother said and walked towards the large box.
"It is indeed beautiful. I see that Veronica Hampton is all out to make this wedding a trending headline. This must have cost millions." She said and frowned. "I should also get you something expensive. I can't have her being the one in charge of everything."
Catherine and Talia giggled softly and Mrs Meyers glared at them.
"Laugh all you want, kids. I love seeing y'all happy."
******
"My wedding dress arrived earlier today," Catherine said to Ace as she sipped on her glass of wine while kicking her legs inside the water.
Ace swam towards her and grabbed his towel from her. He wiped his face and head that was dripping wet and then sat down beside her.
"You like it?" He inquired curiously.
"Of course I loved it, it is beautiful." She retorted and smiled. "The designer said it was made with over 10,000 crystals."
"You deserve everything. The best things." Ace told her, Catherine stared into his eyes and grinned. "You deserve every good thing that relates to me." He wrapped his hand around her neck and kissed her forehead.
Butterflies danced in the belly and she couldn't hide her giggles.
"I can't wait to be your wife." She whispered softly to his hearings.
"And I am excited to be all yours, legally. Your husband."

Catherine's POV:
I never thought this day would come. I never imagined that I would be sitting inside the make-up room with my bridesmaids around me.
I smiled for the camera and consciously glanced around the room in search of my mother.
"Hey girlfriend, pose." Talia said and I laughed loudly. It was my happy day.
The door opened and Anitra's head peeped through the little opening. I thought he bailed on me, I was already planning on how to deal with him after the wedding.
He walked inside the room with Kisa Queens' hand in his. I pursed my lips and forced my eyes away from the eyesore.
How could he find that devil attractive? It makes no sense.
"Bride to-be." Anitra said, he took my hand in his and kissed the back of it.
"I was planning on sending men after you." I told him and he chuckled.
"Why?"
"I thought you wouldn't come." I retorted. I glanced at Kisa and back at Anitra. The girls around the room were oblivious to the tension between the two of us and I was very grateful for that, since my bridesmaids were my college friends and they didn't know about my history with Kisa Queens.
"Congratulations to you, Catherine. I am happy for you." Kisa said and I raised my eyebrows. I couldn't even bear to laugh.
"Happy? I am getting married to your ex-fiance, how can you be happy for me?" I asked. If she has to lie, she should have made it seem believable.
She and Anitra glanced at each other and then back at me.
"I've moved on. I love Anitra and could care less whom Ace gets married to. We were young and I was stupid. I want to use this opportunity and apologize for whatever harms I might have caused you back in RHS. Accept my apologies."
Oh, shut up bitch!
"Cut the crap, Kisa. We both know that you're just pretending." Talia said, walking towards us. "So Ace was right. You were fucking his best friend while wearing his ring, you're a whore."
Kisa rolled her eyes and turned to face Talia. "Say whatever you want to say about me, Scott but I'm not a cheater. I never cheated on Ace. The kiss was a mistake."
"A mistake and it counts. You cheated." Talia snapped and turned to face Anitra. "Aren't you ashamed of yourself? You think aunt Veronica will let you stay with this thing beside you?"
"You have other things to be worried about, Scott. Worry about your man with other girls in the garden and leave me the fuck alone." Anitra mumbled and sighed. "I don't want to fight."
"And I also don't want to fight you, but you know what? If this bitch tries anything funny with my girl today then I'm getting her arrested." Talia threatened angrily before walking away.
I couldn't believe the fact that it was the same Kisa that I know. The Queen B. The heiress to the Queen's fortune is really sorry?
"Do you mean that?" I asked.
"One thing about me is that I don't say what I don't mean." She bragged and I rolled my eyes.
Still the Queen B.
"Why would you apologize?" I asked and cocked my head to the side. "Did you tell her to do so?" I asked Anitra.
"Cut me a fucking slack, Meyers. I am truly sorry." Kisa groaned. "Congratulations. Your dress is really beautiful."
"Thank you." I forced out a response. I wasn't sure about her apology just yet.
I took pictures with Anitra and Talia and then it was time for me to walk down the aisle.
I bit my lip and closed my eyes tightly. If father was here he would have been the one to walk me down the aisle.
"Catherine." Mr Scott, Talia's father called me.
"Sir?"
"Would you like me to walk you down the aisle?" He asked while smiling at me.
