I got up at around ten today, for some reason my body just didn't want me to sleep in. I found it a little weird that Carter wasn't up even when twelve o'clock hit, when I tell you this man refuses to sleep until that time I mean it. He usually gets up around nine (or sometimes even before then when he has work) and heads downstairs to our gym, not today though.

I wipe away remaining water from my mouth before shutting the light to the en suite and walking back into our room, my husband lies there with the comforter covering his waist. I crawl onto the bed before bending my head over his and kissing him on the nose, "Wake up" I murmur

"In a sec" Carter sleepily replies

I trace his abs, "You ok?"

He nods as I play with his hair, "Alright well we'll be downstairs. Want anything?"

"Just to sleep"

I give him one last kiss before patting his back and getting up, I guess he's just a little too sleepy today. As I head downstairs a barking sound gets increasingly louder, Stefan's full of energy today.

I stroke him before looking ahead into the kitchen, "Morning"

Alaska looks up from her phone, "Hey"

"What's for breakfast"

"Two boxes of cereal and oatmeal"

I scrunch my face, "Bleurgh"

"Yeah we kind of forgot to do the shopping" She replies

"Dang it I was looking forward to food" A voice says from behind us

I turn around with surprise, "Since when did you get back"

My son grins, "Hi mommy"

"Ew" Alaska mutters as I pull him in for a warm crushing hug

"My baby" I murmur as I stand on my tiptoes

He was at our beach house for a week and a half with some of his friends, if it's trashed then they know what's coming their way. I don't play around with mess so for each piece of trash I find, everybody owes me twenty dollars....each.

I kiss him on the head as he pulls away, "Relax mom. I'm a man now"

"Your seventeen, and we both know you haven't gotten laid in two months" Alaska interferes

I sit at the island with disgust, "Changing the topic now"

"Where's sperm donor?" Thiago then asks

We hear a few coughs as footsteps make their way down the stairs, "Right here you prick"

Choosing to ignore their awful humour, I frown as they high five. It may seem like the high five is what had me frowning but it was actually Carter, something isn't right. "Carter" I say as he sits down

He looks at me as I stand on the opposite side of the island, "Did you make a phone call to the doctor like I told you to"

"No need" He finishes Ally's glass of water before sniffing

"You should know mom, he's scared of doctors" Our daughter says amused

"Not scared, just not bothered"

I scoff, "Honey your sick"

About a week ago he started getting these headaches, then his nose would start getting stuffy and now all of a sudden he's coughing. I told him to call a doctor and I thought that he did but clearly not, "I'm not sick"

Thiago stands besides me, "No offence dad but you look it"

He takes a banana from the fruit bowl, "You guys are overreacting. It's just a little cold-

"No it's more than that"

"You need to relax-

"Shut up" I reply before answering my phone

"Your wife's crazy" Alaska whispers, he smiles a little

I playfully glare at her before turning my attention to my call, "Hey"

"Hey honey, how are you?" Melissa asks

"I'm alright how about you"

"Good, just checking to see if your still coming over for business"

I rest my hand on Carters head and he frowns at me, "Yeah i'll be there at around one"

"Wonderful, i'll see you then"

"Yeah see you"

"Was that grandma?" Thiago asks knowingly

"Yeah-.... and Carter nobodies buying the i'm not sick shit, we're calling the doctor"

He scrolls through his phone "Nope, we're not"

I take it as Ally places her plate into the sink, he sighs. "Carmen stop being silly-

I shrug, "You make the call or I will, your pick"

Thiago sits down with amusement, "You gotta do it dad"

I look at him expectantly but all he does is get up, "I'll pass"

"Fine by me" I tuck his phone into my bra, Ally snorts

"What a great day it is to be a Miller"

"Indeed"

"You guys just keep on growing" Melissa says surprised as Thiago bends down to hug her

He's seventeen now and Alaskas fourteen

"It's how I attract the females" He replies

She playfully slaps his shoulder before going on to hug Alaska and I smile as I sit at the island, "How are you guys"

"Great"

Carter sneezes and his mother frowns, "Can't say the same for dad though" Ally says

"Why what's wrong?"

He rolls his eyes, "Nothing-

"He's sick and stubborn, refuses to go to the doctors" I tell her

"Oh not this again, drop the pride Carter there's clearly something wrong with you" Melissa lectures

"Like I said before mom, i'm fine-

"No your not, and I can't have a business meeting with Carmen when all i'll hear is your sneezing"

He ignores her as he sits beside me and she rolls her eyes before joining our kids in the living room, "Suffer in silence then"

"Why exactly can't we go to the doctors again?" I question

"Cause i'm fine-

"Well I don't wanna kiss you when your saliva is all packed with germs" I say with disgust

He glares at me

Honestly this whole day all we've been hearing is a cough here and a sneeze there, I tried convincing this man and so did Alaska.....we failed. Carters always had an issue with going to the doctors unless it's for somebody else, he just has a little too much pride that needs to be let go of. "Baby it's just the doctors" I say softly

"I'm aware"

"I'll watch football with you if you call them"

He looks at me unconvinced, "For a whole month"

"Two weeks-

"Three"

"Fine"

He reaches into my bra before taking back his phone and I smile at my success. Honestly I don't know why he likes it when I watch football with him, it's the most boring thing for me on the planet and I don't know why I agreed.

"Your an asshole" I say amused

"An assehole who fingers you every so often-

I pinch him and he smiles before turning away

After about an hour he went to the doctors with Alaska, she'd be updating me every now and then. Thiago and I stayed, Melissa was helping me sort out work... we were discussing a few of my employees, she thinks some of them need to be fired.

I agree

Now T and I are meeting Carter and Ally at the mcdonald's car park, "So how was the beach house" I ask my son as we walk

"Fan fucking tastic"

I give him a look, "Fantastic" He corrects

Our family swears way too much, and i'll admit it's Carter and I's fault. I'm not gonna

lie as a teenager I was a mess when it came to swearing, I just hope Ally and Thiago don't follow my footsteps.

"I can't believe your going on trips without me, your growing too fast" I pout

"I knew I was your favourite-

"Carmen doesn't do favourites" I interrupt

He waves me off, "Yeah yeah"

"Realistically your dad is my favourite"

My son gapes at me, "I knew him first" I defend

"Well then when I move onto the next girl she'll be my favourite" He decides

"Mmm it's not the same, you knew me first-

"Doesn't matter"

"Did you guys have any girls over?" I say knowingly

He turns off his phone "Nah, and besides you know the boys only have eyes for you"

I snort, "Not this again"

Thiago puts his arm around me, "Your a pretty woman ma"

I smile a little, "Gracias"

"De nada"

Alaska presses the button to lower down her window after spotting us, "Took your time"

"Now you can get in the back"

She rolls her eyes before getting out of the passenger seat, I take it before shutting the door and looking at her dad expectantly. "You went?"

He sips on his coke as he nods, "See? Wasn't so bad, what's the diagnosis"

"Sinus infection", Alaska answers

I frown, "That sounds gross. What'd they give you?"

He lifts up a small box that he got from the pharmacy, "Nasal spray" He sniffs

"Looks like i'll be able to kiss you soon, your welcome"

He leans over before kissing me on the cheek and I scrunch my face, sadly I didn't get to escape in time. "Enjoy my sickness"

"Fuck you", I say amused

"I know you'd love to-

Thiago claps, "As cute as this is. Some of us would like to go home"

"Well then you should've drove" I reply

"You know my cars at home-

"Well would you look at that? Nobody asked" Ally says

Carter starts the car as Thiago gives him a look that says 'fix your daughter'

He shrugs, "That attitude doesn't come from me"

I look at him "She got it from me, and what about it"

"It's horrible" Thiago tells me

I high five my daughter, "Miller by blood, Rodriguez by heart"

"Exactly", She agrees

"By the way mom that's five dollars for the swear jar" My son informs me

Carter laughs

By the end of the week I had gotten better, that spray stuff worked like magic.

Might have to stock up on those

Carmen being Carmen, she didn't keep her end of the deal. She couldn't even get through one game of watching football with me without falling asleep, it was okay though because at least she fell asleep in my arms.

This morning I strangely felt good, in a pleasurable way. I didn't dream at all last night sadly, usually they're always dreams of C. As I open my mouth my breath falters, then when I opened my eyes I realised why. The first thing I saw was my brunette bobbing her head up and down as she layed on top of the sheets, "Fuck" I breathe out

She lifts up her head before wiping the side of her mouth with her thumb and I stare at her lustfully, "Morning" Carmen says amused

I watch as she crawls across the bed towards me, "Feeling any better?" She then asks

She rubs herself against my boxer shorts and I suck in a sharp breath, "You"

I then tuck a hair behind her ear, "Your cute"

Her mouth travels from my lips down to my neck and I grip onto her hair as she sucks gracefully, those lips deserve an award. As she pleases me I decide to do a little investigating myself, surprise surprise..... her panties are soaking wet

"Wow" I whisper

It must be Christmas or something cause shit, I've never seen her so horny before. "I want you to tell me where"

I frown as I look down at her, but then as she starts kissing my chest I realise. "Lower" I murmur

Our door then suddenly opens and I feel her freeze under the comforter, "Thiago's ordering McDonald's, he asked if you guys want anything" Ally tells me

I lie back against the pillow, "Nope we're good"

When I tell you I'm trying so hard not to move I mean it, I can feel Carmens mouth.... That's all I need to say. "Where's mom?"

"Shower" I say with a strained voice

She frowns at the bathroom, "But-

"Alaska go" I interrupt

She covers her mouth with realisation, then she screams before shutting the door and pacing down the stairs. I finally breathe with my eyes closed, "You couldn't wait could you"

To be fair we have our own floor for a reason

Carmen flips the comforter over her head before moving her hair out of the way, "That's what you get for telling her we didn't want anything from McDonald's"

"You've traumatised her"

"In our defence, we always tell them to knock"

I pull her up suddenly, "Come here"

She squeals as I roll us over so that I'm on top, "Let's sort out your little problem down there"

She laughs as I bury my face into her shoulder
