《Abandoned ✔️》Chapter 67- i seriously can't get enough of you

Everybody walks into the room disturbing our sweet little talk. We all look at them, not uttering a single word after they stepped inside.

My friends look at me, blink then look back at the doctor and my parents.

"Hey Venus," the doctor says, walking over to the machines and writing something down on her notepad.

"Hey," I reply back and she smiles.

"Do you feel okay?" The doctor asks and she ran many tests along with giving me many medications.

"Yes," I reply back, caressing the ring on my finger.

The feeling is still odd.

The feeling of the ring on my ring finger feels odd.

I look at Cayson, who's looking at me with a smile on his face. I smile back and he looks away, smiling even more.

I love it when he looks away like that. It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who blushes.

"Let's get your discharge papers ready then. We have already kept you here long enough. I would recommend keeping your I.V bag and medications with you," the doctor suggests and mommy steps up.

"You could give it all to me, I'll remember to give her daily doses of the medicines," mommy offers and the doctor nods.

"The nurse will give them to you," doctor smiles. "Take care of yourself now, Venus. Let's pray that we never have to see each other."

With that she leaves.

Seven months.

It has been seven months since I basically died and came back to life. Seven months of pain to finally gain what I needed.

All of the treatments are working, and now I am cancer-free for life.

Six months of engaged life has been great! Cayson is a sweetheart because he doesn't complain about anything. He doesn't complain about how our dates have been inside the hospital for the past six months. How he always stole time from others so he could see me often.

Mommy and mom tells me that I am lucky to have him. Not many people stick by your side during your hard times. Mommy said that Mr chivalry did the same for her. He stayed by her side during her hard time and now they are happily married with kids.

Even though it didn't work out for mom and dad, they still believe in true love. They believe that Cayson is the right guy for me.

On the other hand, daddy is still a little protective over me. I understand why that is, but I think I'm old enough to take care of myself now.

He missed my childhood so he wants to make sure to spend the most time with me.

Macy also thinks Cayson is the guy for me. She is the sister who believe in true love and stuff like that.

Personally I never thought about love because I had my friends for that. I never thought that I would love someone more than my friends, but I do now.

I love Cayson.

So much.

He's patient.

Very patient for that matter. Definitely more patient than I am.

I have been whining about going to Paris which I finally get to go after four years. The worst four years of my life.

But, I'm glad that it all happened. Otherwise, Cayson wouldn't have proposed and we wouldn't have been engaged.

Everything does happen for a reason.

Who am I to change anything?

"Sweetheart, you ready to leave?" Daddy asks, picking up my bags from the floor.

"Yes," I nod and slowly get out of the gurney, trying to balance myself.

"Need any help?" Ian asks, pulling some other bags on his shoulders.

"No, I think I will be—" before I could finish, Cayson scoops me into his arms. "What—?"

I try to process what happened when I realize that Cayson is carrying me. Mom and dad smile before walking out of the room. Daddy stares at Cayson for ones brief moment before leaving the room behind mom and dad.

Kate wiggles her eyebrows in a weird manner and violet out sticks her tongue out.

Oh my god!

Tyler smacks the back of Violet's head and she stops for a brief moment before punching him back.

Chris puts his arms around Kate and they walk out together.

Ian looks at us for a moment before smiling softly, and leaving behind Chris and Kate.

I look at Cayson whose eyes are staring at my face intently. "What?" I ask and he shrugs.

"You're just so beautiful," he whispers and I roll my eyes.

"Even with these disgusting short hair?" I smirk and he nods.

"Even with the cute little brunette hair which are hidden under that black bandana," he smiles.

I smile and slowly snake my hands around his neck, holding onto his collar. His grip tightens and he slowly walks outside the room.

Finally I am out!

"I seriously can't get enough of you," he says and I chuckle at his statement.

"Well, guess who is stuck with me for the rest of their lives?" I ask, putting my left hand in the air, showing the ring. "That unlucky dumbass is you!"

"Lucky, not unlucky," he corrects me with a smile. "Any guy would be lucky to have you."

"Yeah, you're right about that. I wouldn't argue on that matter," I reply back and he chuckles.

"I love you," he says, walking into the elevator.

"I love you," I reply back.

When the elevator's door closes, he slowly dips his head down and kisses me softly. First, the kisses are soft and heavenly. Once I give in, he uses a little more force.

His soft lips, smashing against mine, ferociously. His tongue, exploring my mouth as he deepens the kiss.

I slowly break the kiss by biting his bottom lip and smile against his lips, leaving him craving for more.

"I hate it when you do that," He huskily says, against my lips.

I shrug and smile as the elevator door opens.

"But you love it," I run my finger on his neck slowly and steadily as he inhales sharply.

"Not a good time to start this Venus, you know I won't be able to control myself," he says, his voice sounding like a low growl.

"Someone's hungry," I whisper in his ear and I see goosebumps. "You really like it when I do that to you, don't you?"

He doesn't respond.

"Yeah, I got my answer," I answer my own question and he smiles.

Cayson takes me to an unknown place of the hospital and I was suddenly confused. There are the doctors and nurses that worked with me and my family and friends standing against the walls.

"Cayson, what... what is this?" I ask in confusion as he slowly puts me back on my feet and walks me to my friends who are all standing closely next to each other, hiding whatever is behind them. "What is it?"

Slowly, they move and there it is.

The bell.

I have only ever heard about it and seen in movies, but here it is. Right in front of my own eyes and I am fortunate enough to be able to ring it.

"It is time," mommy sniffles as tears are forming in her eyes.

"Your last set of chemo and radiation is over and so is the surgery. It is high time that you get to finally ring this bell," Ian replies softly.

I walk towards the bell and look at it in disbelief. I never thought I'd get here but here I am.

"Here's to kicking cancer's ass," I smile as I grab the string and ring the bell three times.

There is a smile on everyone's faces and a quiet cheer from my friends. There is only happiness in this hall and I am a part of it.

"We will be downstairs," mom says as they all leave Cayson and i alone.

"I can't believe I got to do that," I smile as he walks over to me and takes my hand in his.

"I can. You're here with me and we are going to have an amazing life together, you and me," he pecks my cheek and walks me outside.

Suddenly everyone appears in front of us, waiting for us at the front door of the hospital. I look outside to find two limousines.

"You guys could sit in that one," mom says and we nod.

Cayson slowly puts me inside and sits next to me. I quickly take his hand into mine and intertwine our fingers together.

I smile before putting my head on his shoulder, resting it there.
