Nobody says a single thing and just stand there looking at me. I shift my leg around while Kate just looks at me.

Oh god, my legs are numb. Crap!

I look at Kate and she nods towards me and I nod back. "Why don't we sit down?" She understand what I'm trying to say and drags me to the nearer bench and the others follow behind Kate and I.

I slowly take a seat and sigh in relief that I won't be fainting in front of them. I quickly take a sip of water given by Kate and others just give us a weird look.

"What are you doing here Venus?" Tyler asks sternly, as if he really doesn't want me here.

I stiffen and look up at him. "Just visiting," I reply back with a small smile.

"Where were you?" Ian asks, his face expressionless.

I can't figure out if he is delighted to see me or unhappy about it. "Away," I reply back.

"I searched for you, everywhere, but you left no trace anywhere. You just disappeared in thin air," he mutters and I look away. "What happened?"

"I—" I start and Kate nudges my foot slowly and her eyes widen. She wants me to tell them the truth. "I uh- I moved."

"Where?" Chris asks.

"Somewhere other than New York," my brows narrow.

Ian doesn't move. He just stands there, examining my every eye contact and body movement. He is really good at reading me so I try to push the thoughts of me fainting, at the back of my head.

"I- I missed you guys," I say but nobody says anything and Kate has this angry face as if she's about to punch all of them.

When they all look at each other, I squeeze Kate's hand and shake my head, telling her not to say or do anything stupid. Her face softens and she looks away.

"Really, because you left violet to die that night," Tyler rudely asks.

Kate sits up straight and her mouth opens to say something but I interrupt. "I- I'm sorry," I apologize.

"You're sorry?" Violet scoffs. "I can't believe you Venus. After everything we all have done for you, when the time comes for you to do the same, you back away. Is that what we get to be friends with you?"

I don't know what to tell her but when I look at Kate, it seems as though she has a lot to say to them.

I keep holding onto Kate's hand so if she tries to say something to them, I squeeze harder.

After what violet said, her mouth opens once more but I hold her hand tightly and she closes it.

I can literally hear her saying, 'I am about to kill these bunch of idiotic fools,' in my head. I smile at how well I know her.

"I- I just couldn't give you my blood," I reply back, not revealing the real reason to them.

"Couldn't or wouldn't?" She scoffs again. "I thought of you as my best friend Venus, we have always helped each other. How could you have just- just left me there? You know what could've happened if someone else didn't donate the blood?"

I see tears forming in her eyes, I'm about to get up and hug her but Tyler holds onto her so I stay put in my seat.

"Whatever you'd like to think Violet," I reply back and look away.

"Wow," she says and looks at me then back at Kate. "You have been supporting her ever since she left, but do you see her now, Kate? She- she doesn't even care."

Kate scoffs at what violet said. "She wouldn't be here if she didn't care," Kate mutters so quietly that I think I'm the only one to catch it, but I see Ian leaning in closer, listening to every single thing.

"I could not care less about her anymore. I'll go to my class for which I actually care about," she leaves with Tyler, basically taunting me.

"Venus," Ian breaths out and sits down next to Kate and I on the bench. "Are you- are you okay?"

"Yeah," I mutter under my breath and he caresses my cheek.

"You- you have changed. Your hair," he starts, looking at my hair and I chuckle.

"I needed a change," I reply back.

"Your- your skin," he wonders and I chuckle.

"Neither Kate nor you would deal with my skin tone. I mean I know I look a little too fair these days instead of tan," I say and his brows furrow. "I haven't been going tanning in the sun on a beach for a while now. We should totally hit the beach sometime."

A small smile appears on his lips and I take a deep breath of relief. There's that smile again. The smile to die for. When he smiles, everything feels vibrant around him.

"I'd love that," he replies back with a warm smile on his face.

"Yeah?" I ask and he nods in return.

I look up to find Chris looking down at us in anger. "I need to talk to you Kate, let's go," he literally snatched Kate away from us.

I walk into the class right behind Kate and Ian. I see many familiar faces. Ugh, they are the snobs from high school who hated me for no apparent reason. I think they hate me because I stole their seats.

I groan and Kate gestures me to sit next to her. Without glaring at the students, I sit back down and Ian sits down next to me.

I just talk to Kate and Ian because the others wouldn't talk to me. They are pissed that I left and didn't give Violet my blood. On the other hand, Ian doesn't believe that I did it for no reason but he doesn't ask me too many questions.

I close my eyes for a moment because I don't feel that great anymore. Everything inside of my body is aching. From my head to my toes, it all feels almost sore.

Suddenly Cayson walks in, his arms around Vanessa and I shudder at the sight of them together.

When I see them walk in, it feels as though someone has strings attached inside of my heart and they are all pulling it with great force.

I didn't know it could hurt me so much to see Cayson with someone else. Maybe it's the quacking duck that I don't like in particular. I mean wasn't I the one who left Cayson?

Oh god, this is going to be a long long day.
