I quickly run inside my house as soon as Mrs. Chivalry left.

Oh god.

"Venus, I need to talk to you," mom says as she's sitting on the couch with a magazine, waiting for me to arrive.

"Not right now mom," I mutter and run to my room.

I turn the faucet on in my shower and walk inside as the cold water send chills down my spine.

I found my mother?

How did she find me? I thought mom sealed all the files and my information was never revealed.

I can't believe this.

The cold water slowly turns into warm water, making me feel better and warm in this cold weather.

How did she just come? What was she thinking? That I will forgive her?

I can't.

I won't.

I close my eyes as couple of drops went in my eyes. My hair stick to my face and my clothes all wet.

Knock!

"Venus," I hear someone calling me but I don't answer.

Knock! Knock!

"Venus!" The same voice calls for me again.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Venus, you're scaring me now. You're in there right?" Mom says but I don't wish to answer.

How was my information revealed to her?

There is no way that dad would've let that happen and he made sure nobody would talk about me being adoptive.

What am I going to do?

Oh god!

"Venus, answer me," she bangs a little louder on the door but I don't respond.

After a while the nagging stops and I don't hear anything on the other side and I open my eyes. The water falls on my head and drips down the ends of my hair.

I feel tears forming in my eyes and everything starts to hurt.

I haven't seen my mother in years and now she randomly decides to show up, thinking I will forgive her.

How could she?

I don't know what to do.

After what seemed like an eternity of standing, I slowly sit down on the ground and I bury my face in my hands and stay there before I hear another knock on the door.

"Stavish?" A soft whisper on the other side of the door. "Stavish, are you okay?"

Cayson.

I sigh and nod, later realizing that he couldn't see me.

Knock!

"Venus," another whisper catches my attention. "Venus open up."

"Go away," I tell Ian and I hear a sigh in the other side.

"Venus open up or I'm breaking this door," he warns me but I don't respond. Instead I pull my knees closer to my chest and put my chin on my knees.

Suddenly I head a loud thudding and footsteps approach me. They make their way towards the shower and see my sitting on the floor, crying.

Ian quickly runs towards me and turns the faucet off. "Venus," he whispers and I turn to face him.

My eyes red and puffy, tears still rolling down them. "Venus, what- what happened?"

"Go away," I push him away when he tries to touch me.

"Here," he pulls me closer to him and hugs me while I try my best to fight him but he doesn't let go.

"Let go of me," I cry but he holds onto me tighter.

"Shh," he slowly puts my hair behind my ear and keeps me close to him. "It's fine."

I look up while in his arms, I notice Cayson standing next to others. He stands there helpless, not knowing what to do.

Anther tear rolls down my eyes and I hold onto Ian and cry. That's all I do, cry. He doesn't let go of me either, instead he holds me tighter.

"It'll be alright Venus," he whispers against my forehead and I open my eyes and pull away.

"She- she-" I start but I keep on sobbing.

"Kate," Ian says and Kate appears with a bottle in her hand.

She hands it to me and I take a sip before clearing my throat and continuing. "She- found me. Af-aft-after a-all these- year-years."

"Who? Who found you venus?" Ian asks.

"My mother," my voice breaks and he is shocked, just as much as everyone else except Cayson.

Ian glances at the others who look at me in disbelief. "She- she knows where I live. She wants to- she wants to apologize."

"No," Chris says, standing in the middle.

"Yeah, she's not going to even talk to you. I'll make sure of that," Tyler assures me.

"I swear venus, is she has hurt you, it won't be good for her," Ian starts but I put my hand on his shoulder.

"No. No. She just- she just wants to apologize for abandoning me," I explain.

"Was she not sorry when she abandoned you years back?" Kate says and other agree with her.

"I- I don't know what to- what to do," I sob and take another sip of water.

"For now, let's just avoid running or bumping into her. How did she find you anyways?" Violet asks and I also wonder about the same question.

"I told them," mom walks inside the bathroom and all of us are shocked.

"What?" We ask in unison while Cayson just stands there, trying to digest what's happening.

"I didn't have a choice," she says.

"There is always a choice," i reply back.

"If I didn't tell them where you were then they would've asked Ms. Mary and you know she would've told them," she explains.

"So, you- you told them?" I ask and she nods slowly. "And you didn't think how it would affect me at all?"

"It's not like that Venus—" she starts but I raise my hand and stop her.

"Don't. Nothing you say will ever make up for what you did and what you have always done," i start and i sigh.

She looks away. "I didn't mean to—"

"When do you not? You would so much for Macy because she's your daughter. I know I'm not your own child but you always treated me like an outsiders. Even Tyler's parents treat me better than you do. I never realized what I have done to you," tears start rolling down my eyes and I see Ian's jaw clench.

"Well, you have wanted to see me miserable right? Well, here you go. You have accomplished that. You have hurt me so bad that I don't think it could heal. It was not your right to tell them anything, what would dad think about this?"

"You wouldn't," she warns me.

"Oh yeah, I would," I threaten her and she takes a step back and leaves my bathroom.

I take a deep breath and put my head against the wall. "I can't believe this."

"It'll be fine Venus, we have been through so much so we can do this," Kate assures me and sits next to me in the shower.

"Actually I agree with her, we will kick ass," Chris says, coming towards me. "Actually not really, she is your mother after all."

"You know you have us right?" Violet says, walking towards me and sitting next to Ian.

"And you guys obviously need me to brighten your guys' moods," Tyler winks and sits next to violet.

"You don't have to go through it alone Venus, were here for you," Ian assures me with a small smile on his lips.
