"i've been waiting,
for you to see me
like i see you."

Juvia silently pondered, still in the presence of heavy rain. She was all alone once again, sitting at a nearby bench as Gajeel had dismissed himself— saying he'd gotten 'hungry.' The bluenette chuckled to herself, tapping her boots on the puddled ground with a light smile. "Silly Gajeel-kun. Juvia knows he went to Levy-chan."
The water mage murmured to herself, recalling the sudden change of expression her friend shifted to. His expression had scared the bluenette for a brief moment— as the dragon slayer pummelled a soft smile on his face. Juvia slouched against the bench, pursing her bottom lip— glancing down at the symbol imprinted on her left upper thigh. Would Gray-sama ever bear Juvia a soft smile?
She reluctantly shook her head, slightly pouting. Regardless of being near him most of the time, the water mage had dearly missed him. But, since the raven haired had requested time alone— the bluenette was willing to do anything for the man. Juvia gazed up at the gloomed sky, the droplets of water puckering against her porcelain skin. The water mage knew what his reasoning was, it was obvious, but knowing him— he'd never admit to such a thing.
She clasped her hands together frowned— it was a bit of a shame she had stopped carrying her umbrella around. After all, now she'd been greeted by clear skies every time her eyes would flutter open. Juvia silently sat, enjoying the feeling of the rain against her skin. The bluenette hadn't felt the rain in so long; her figure always hid underneath her umbrella. By now, she was all soaked— but that was the last of her worries.
After all, she is none other than only a rain woman. Juvia paused for a brief moment, her eyes scattering around to examine the puddles on the ground— the raindrops creating patterns of ripples across its surface, having the bluenette entranced. The rain was a fascinating natural creation, yet it brought her miserable reminiscences. But things have changed, you see? Juvia smiled lightly, bringing her palm up to feel the raindrops.

Once again she halted, gazing up at the swirling dark grey clouds— glooming down upon the city. Gray. The water mage giggled, finding herself think of him. Things had changed once she met him— Gray— and she loved him. She just knew it. He had showed her what it felt like to be part of a great, caring family. And what it was it was like to share strong bonds with other individuals. Most of all, he— Gray— had showed her how to love. How to love others, and how to love herself. Love.
Suddenly, the bluenette felt a shrill up her spine— a nipping sensation at her nose, soon after sneezing. "Chpieuw!" Juvia shrugged, scrunching her nose at the unpleasant sneeze— murmuring to herself with a displeased frown. "Hnm. Someone's been talking about Juvia." She assumed, grumbling at her own statement— crossing her arms against her chest. Indeed, it was the fourth time she had sneezed in a day.
Abruptly, as the rain decisively poured down— the sky roared against the clouds. Juvia's eyes slightly extended, her enfeeble body beginning to tremble. The lightning flashed and the thunder echoed— the bluenette shortly letting out a squeak of fear as she closely huddled on the bench.
It was ironic, wasn't it? A water mage afraid of thunderstorms. Juvia gulped, her lips slightly parted as they quivered— her whole body unable to move an inch. She was palpitating from head to toe; she wanted to run back to her dorm as quickly as she could— though her body refused to command. The water mage was beginning to believe that by the time the thundering was over, she'd be dead of fear.
..
"Oh my. I guess we'll have to camp at the guild for now, the weather seemingly harshened." Mirajane puckered to herself, gazing at the window as another flash of lighting struck the sky. Gray on the other hand, still on the same spot at the bar— was having a full on war with himself. The ice mage had berated himself many times, regretting to have asked the water mage to leave. It was just that— he felt so sour towards her after seeing her with Lyon.

Now, he had probably made her unhappy— and that was one of the last things he'd wanted to do. The noirnette was getting worried, occasionally glancing around— or waiting for the guild doors to open and reveal the bluenette. He'd thought, surely of it, that the water mage would've been back by now. Damn it. I'm going.
Gray plunged his feet on the floor, getting off his seat— his attention shortly darted to a thud, resulting of Gajeel whom sat up quite fast. "Gajeel? Where are you going?" A petite voice asked, belonging to none only than Levy. The dragon slayer glanced down at the bluenette, a rather dim expression on his face. "I gotta get to that brat of a rain woman quickly." He muttered, another roar of the sky wavering their attentions.
"Juvia? Why so Gajeel?" Peeped in Pantherlily, his mouth utilized with kiwi as he sat on the table. Gajeel sighed, crossing his arms— darting his head towards a window. "That idiot's probably still outside." He paused, shooting the ice mage a glare from the corner of his sockets. "She's afraid of thunder." Gajeel simply stated, a worried expression smeared on the mages face.
"For all I know, that blockhead's probably pissin' her pants with her ears covered." He added, slightly shaking his head as he turned around— gradually making his way towards the exit. Shit. This is all my fault. "What's the sudden hurry Gray?" Mirajane trailed off, her gaze following the noirenette who dashed out of the guild to the brisk heavens— passing by Gajeel.
"H- Hey! What the hell!" Gajeel fumed, throwing his fists up in the air— pausing as he watched the ice mage disappear into the rain. The dragon slayer huffed, crossing his arms— a visible smirk on his lips. "You better go get her, stripper fuck."

Ashes of the Primordial
With the upcoming shutdown of the servers for Ragnarok Games’ deep dive VRMMO, ‘Ashes of the Primordial’, the player log of those online for the final night was depressingly empty-looking. A revolutionary level of realism drove Ashes to the forefront of the games market, billions of players enjoying their journey to power and glory as an avatar of their own creation. The final enemy of the game-world defeated, the company announced, in line with their stance from launch, that they would be shutting down the game exactly six months after the defeat of Sutr, the final boss. Ammanas, the player responsible for Sutr's defeat, stays online until the end. However, as the countdown hits 0, the start-hub of his dive rig (what would typically greet a forced ejection from a game) was no where to be seen and instead darkness greets him as he fades into unconsciousness. Awakening to unfamiliar sights in an unfamiliar body, one which turns out to be a lot more familiar than he first thought, now he must figure out where, how, why and what to do with the new world he finds himself in. Author note: I don't own the cover, just something found through a google search. This is also my first story and the MC will basically be unimaginably OP yet never really utilising his full power. He just wants to find somewhere to fit in to the new world he finds himself in and despite both his nature as a loner and his interests he will find himself forming connections with the denizens of this new realm. Hope you enjoy
