《A Stupid Hot Head-Natsu Dragneel fanfiction》The Hospital

My eyes opened, blinded by the bright light they faced. I shot up, automatically regretting it as I winced in pain. My whole body ached, especially my arm. I looked around and saw I was in a hospital, how did I get here? I thought I was going to... Oh well, but seriously. How the hell did I end up in the hospital? I thought no one could get in.
"Oh! Ms. Lucy, you're awake," a busty nurse walked into my room, holding a clipboard.
"How did I get here?" I asked her plainly.
"Oh, a pink haired boy brought you here. It was horrible, you were unconscious and had a lot of blood loss, had to give you stitches. Your friends were very worried" she explained, contorting her face.
"Is-Is he here?" I asked her nervously.
"Why yes, him and this small blue haired girl," do you want to see them? They were here all night," she asked as she walked to the door, ready to call for them.
"No!" I called out to desperately. I cleared my throat and spoke calmly this time, "I mean, can I just see the girl for now?" I asked politely.
"Sure thing," she nodded and walked out. I took a deep breath and looked at my arm. It was wrapped in bandages and it ached badly. How could I be so stupid? To come so close to death...
"Lucy!" I heard a familiar voice call out. My head darted up just in time to see Levy wrap me in her arms.
"Hey Levy," I greeted quietly. Man, this is awkward.
"How could you Lucy?! You have so much more to live for! Even if Lisanna and her snobs are bitches and Natsu is an ass, you have me! And Erza and Juvia and others!" Levy cried out. I felt tears fall from my eyes as I clutched onto her desperately.
"I know Levy, I'm sorry," I choked out. For a long while we just sat there, hugging and crying. I can't believe I was about to leave this girl. Levy has only been the kindest to me. And to think that I would hurt her like that.

"So, ummm how did you guys, you know-" I couldn't get the full sentence out.
"Natsu told us he thought you might be in trouble and so we chased after him. We told the others to go find help and me and him went to your house. He broke through your window and we found you there," Levy explained.
"H-have you talked to him," my voice shook as I asked her.
"Not really, he looks really beat down. When I asked him what happened, he just responded with, "I'm such an idiot", and then walked off. I later found out that him and Lisanna kissed from Erza, as she heard from kids at prom," she told me. I shook my head, tears threatening to spill. He kissed her, was imprinted in my mind.
"Umm excuse me. The pink haired boy, he would like to come in, alone," the nurse spoke as she walked in. Levy and I looked at each other and she shrugged and walked out. Was I ready to talk to him?
"Sir, you can come in now," the nurse said as she stepped back into the hallway. I heard rushed steps get louder as he approached the door, then he entered, just standing in front of the now closed door. Natsu looked terrible. His eyes were red and puffy and had bags underneath them. He was still wearing his tux, but it was wrinkled and looked like he had slept in it.
"Luce," he spoke after we just stared at each other. The tears didn't even threaten to spill until he spoke. Once he did, I couldn't hold them back at all. He rushed towards me, ready to hug me but something inside of me stopped him. I pushed his figure away and he staggered back in shock.
"No Natsu," my voice trembled as it spoke.
"Lucy, please listen," he pleaded.
"Natsu, you promised you changed! You didn't! Lisanna and her friends beat me up the day before I went shopping, you know. Then after that I was still taunted and threatened by them. Then at prom, not only did Lisanna threaten me, her friends harassed me while you and her got close! But no, I thought, 'Natsu will be there. Think of Natsu,' and then what happens?! I go to find you kissing her!" I yelled at him. While I yelled and ranted, he just stood there, looking at me in shock.

"Lucy, why didn't you tell me?" his strained voice spoke.
"Because Natsu, I didn't want you to worry! But apparently you didn't care at all," I said, "Now go away. I don't want to see you."
"Lucy, c'mon! It's not what it looked like! You have to listen! Just give me a minute to explain!" Natsu exclaimed.
"Get out!" I screamed. The door burst open and the nurse from before came in.
"Sir, it's time for you to leave now. We need to give Lucy her medication and explain certain situations to her," the nurse said kindly. Natsu just nodded, looked at me, and walked out. I sighed and shook my head.
"Miss, is everything alright?" the nurse asked politely.
"Just great, now what do you need to explain?" I asked.
"Well, due to your current situation, it isn't good for you to be home by yourself or going to school with everyone right now. So, your father is going to take you home in a couple of days and you will be home schooled until we feel you are mentally ready to go back. You will also be required to attend this support group twice a week," the nurse informed me, holding out some papers to me. I took them and read all the information on them. No way, I really had to go back.
"Isn't there anyone else I can stay with?" I asked in desperation.
"No, you have to stay with your legal guardian," she said. I nodded and set the papers down. "Can my friend, Levy, come back in?" I asked.
"Yes, just take this medicine first," the nurse held out two pills and a purple liquid to me. I took all of them, my face puckering at the nasty taste. Then, Levy entered with a weary look.
"What's up?" I asked her.
"Natsu stormed off to I don't know where. He looked mad," the bluenette said.
"We have other things to worry about," I brushed off Natsu. Well, at least it seemed like that. I imagined his mad expression and longed to hug him and make him smile. But I couldn't do that. He doesn't deserve it.
"Like what?"
"I have to go back to my father's and I can't go to our school anymore," I sighed.
"What?!" Levy exclaimed. "Lu-chan you can't go!"
"I don't want to, but I guess that's what I get for making this mistake," I held up my arm and smiled weakly. I felt my body growing tired, probably a side effect of the medicine.
"Well, you have to promise that you will come back as soon as possible," Levy pouted, causing me to laugh.
"Oh course, and I will keep in contact with you every single day," I told her.
"Good," she smiled at me.
"I also have to go to a stupid group therapy, support group thing," I said with a bored tone.
"Oh well maybe you will meet someone there," she said with optimism.
"Ehh," I sighed. My body grew so tired I could barley keep my eyes open. Levy noticed this.
"Well, I better let you sleep, I'm going to go home and shower," she stood up.
"Okay, bye Levy," my tired voice yawned.
"Bye Lucy," she waved and then I fell asleep.

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

Waking Up
The story of Larin the Builder in the aftermath of Awakening This short story is the epilogue of Awakening, the first book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. This epilogue is a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers between books without being necessary to the main storyline.Waking Up follows the story of Larin, who is alive but unconscious after her ordeal in the Nine Hells. She awakens in A'lara City a few days later and recuperates under the steadfast care of her repentant friend Jorn.As she reacclimates to her waking state, Larin struggles with her gruesome memories of the Hells and her decision to conceal them from Jorn. This story answers the question, Is Larin all right? with a resounding yes, and some storms on the horizon. It also raises the question, What happened to her down there? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Falling Down, about Larin's ordeal in the Nine Hells. Praise for Waking Up and Falling Down: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between Waking Up and Falling Down is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well.-- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★
