' "Lu-chan! Let's go get a drink," Levy said in an uneasy tone. I nodded and quickly followed her. We walked a safe distance from the group and then turned to each other.
"What's up?" I asked her.
"Lisanna is eyeing Natsu like he is a piece of meat and she is a starving lion," she whispered firecely. I swallowed deeply and followed Levy's eyes to Lisanna. Now that I had left, she was with the group and really close to Natsu. Then, she hugged him and walked towards me.
"Hey Levy, could you give me and Lucy a minute?" Lisanna asked in a sugary sweet voice. Levy looked towards me hesitantly and I gave her a nod. She walked away slowly, leaving me alone with Lisanna.
"You better watch your back," Lisanna said with a nasty tone.
"For what?" I challenged.
"Natsu's mine. I should've been the one to come to prom with him and I should be the one by his side not a sad cutter like you," she spat. My heart stopped and my mouth dropped.
"H-how d-do you know about...that? I stuttered and held my arms behind my back.
"Oh, as I was beating you I saw all the scars on your wrist. Don't worry, I haven't told anybody, yet." she smirked at my nervous state. Then, after pushing me, she walked away. I hustled back to Natsu as fast as I could.
"Hey Luce, you okay? You look a little pale," Natsu noticed my shocked state. Levy sent looks towards me, but I ignored them.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I said and smiled. I would not let her ruin my night.
"Wanna dance?" Natsu asked me while holding out his hand. I nodded shyly and took his hand as he led my to where everyone was dancing. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his hands were placed at the small of my back. My heart thumped as we started to sway to the music. I moved closer to him, my head leaning on his shoulder. I could see the other's were dancing too. The girls and I giving each other a smile as we passed by. Soon enough, the song was over.

I pulled away from Natsu slowly, not wanting to leave the closeness. We walked away from the swarm of dancing people and found our group of friends.
We ended up dancing a lot as a whole group during the faster paced songs. Levy and I would burst into fits of laughter half the time because none of us knew how to dance. It was still fun though, we had a fun time just being our silly goofy selves.
'Hey, I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick," I told Natsu.
"Okay," he answered and I started to walk towards the bathroom. After I did my business, I walked out to see some of Lisanna's friends just standing there.
"What do you want?" I asked hesitantly.
"Oh, Lisanna just sent us here to do some of her dirty work," one of said like they were bored. They then moved closer to me. I tried to dodge them, but two girls grabbed my arms while the other two stood in front of me. One of them had a cup of red punch in there hand.
"What a pretty dress, wouldn't want to ruin it," she said then poured the red liquid all over my dress.
"Now we have to make her match it," the other girl scoffed and held up her fists. She struck a forceful punch at my face. I tasted blood and automatically knew that she busted my lip. The girl struck again, this time hitting my nose.
"Stop, please," I cried as they threw my towards the ground. I felt so helpless and scared. Why did they have to do this to me? What did I ever do wrong?
"I think Lisanna should be pleased for now," the girl who held my left arm said. They all laughed and then walked out of the bathroom. I stood up and looked at myself. I was a mess, my face had blood running down it and my dress was completely ruined. Why did they have to ruin this night for me?
I turned on the water and grabbed some paper towels, I cleaned up my face and tried to get the red stain out, which didn't happen. When I finished, I took a deep breath and threw the towels away. I'll just tell Natsu I want to leave early and that I spilt a drink. Yeah. I'll just skip the girl's sleepover and spend a nice night at home with Natsu. It will all be okay.

~Natsu's POV~
"What's taking Lucy so long?" I asked Levy, looking at the clock on the wall.
"I don't know, why don't you go see if you can find her?" Levy suggested. I nodded and started to walk towards the bathroom's. Then, I felt someone tug me aside. I looked over to see Lisanna griping onto my arm, a smile tugging at her face.
"Hey Natsu," she greeted.
"Hey Lisanna, now's not a good time," I said looking over to the bathroom impatiently.
"Oh, it will only take a second," she assured, looking over my shoulder and nodded. I followed her eyes, but didn't see anything. Just what was she doing?
"Okay, but seriously, make it quick," I sighed.
"Oh, I will," she said in a lower voice. She tugged at my shirt and put her lips to mine. I tried to tug away but she held a good grip on me.
"Natsu?" an all to familiar voice asked sadly. No. No, No, NO NO!! I pushed Lisanna away, sending her stumbling but she had a giant smile on her face.
"Lucy," I said desperately but by that time she was already running and was out of sight. I ran after her, pushing through crowds of people. "Lucy! Lucy!" I called out. No, this can't be happening. This was supposed to be our night. I was supposed to be her prince.
~Lucy's POV~
I ran without thinking. My feet carried me away, not knowing where they are going. Everything was true. He doesn't like me, he is just using me. He is the same, like everyone else. I'm just a joke, everyone thinks that. That's why they tease me. I'm pathetic. To think someone would actually care....
Before I knew it, I was in an alleyway somewhere. Knowing I was a safe distance away from them, I fell to the ground and let out a loud sob. I clutched my dress tightly and tears continuously fell down my face. Somewhere along the way, I threw my shoes off. My feet burned from stepping on rocks and being scraped on the concrete.
Once I could cry any longer, I made my way to my house and closed and locked the door. Then, I went to the window's and locked them and pulled the drapes over them. I striped from my dress, and looked at the scares on my legs. I know I promised, but.... he lied. I can't take being laughed at anymore. I don't want any of it anymore. The lies, the cruelty, the taunting, I just want to sleep for the rest of my life.
As negative thoughts filled my mind, I felt weak as I went to the kitchen and opened a drawer. I pulled out the object that would help solve all of this. The one thing that would take all of this away. It would make my life better and everyone else's. I took the blade and pressed it against my skin and dragged it across. I winced in pain, but it wasn't enough. I put it to my skin again, this time pressing deeper and dragging it further. Still isn't enough. I pressed the blade to my skin five more times, each time cutting deeper than the last.
My vision went blurry as the color red was everywhere. I dropped the knife and fell to the ground. I then heard faint banging, but couldn't open my eyes to see. Then, I heard yelling, lots of it. Who is that? I forced my eyes to open for a brief second to see a flash of pink.
"Natsu?" my voice was barely able to speak. Then, everything went black.
