"Lu-chan! Are you feeling okay? If you aren't it's okay," Levy burst out through the phone.
"No, I'm fine Levy. I'm a little sore but that's all. My nose looks disgusting though, when they ask say I fell down the stairs," I informed her while lightly touching my bandaged nose. I winced and dropped my hand, damn that hurt!
"Okay..." Levy hesitantly let out.
"Thanks, meet you at the station in 20 minutes!" I cheered and hung up before she could respond. I wobbled my way over to my dresser, finding an outfit to wear. Usually, I would wear a skirt or shorts but I couldn't let anyone see my bruises. I decided to wear flare jeans, a tee shirt, and a hoodie over that. I didn't look my best but, at least they wouldn't ask as many questions.
As I walked outside into the bright sunshine, I tried not to limp while walking. The bruises left my body sore and I ached everywhere. I would have stayed home, but this was my last chance to go prom shopping. I would just have to suck it up. It was okay though, I can't wait to find my perfect dress. As I turned the last corner, a bluenette ran towards me.
"Lu-chan, oh my god you look awful!" she exclaimed, pointing at my nose.
"Thanks Levy," I mumbled sarcastically. An apologetic look flashed across her face and she started to babble an apology.
"I'm sorry Lu-chan! I didn't mean that. I meant that you shouldn't be here and should be taking care of yourself!" she said in a rush of words.
"I'm fine Levy. Plus, all this shopping will get my mind off of it," I assured her with a smile.
"Hey Levy why did you run off," Erza's strict voice came from behind me.
"I saw Lucy!" the short girl exclaimed.
"Lucy, your nose looks horrible," Erza eyed my nose suspiciously.
"I know," I spat. Is this going to happen all day?
"What happened?" Juvia asked me.
"Well, I was kinda a klutz and fell down a flight of stairs," I lied to them.

"Oh, are you well enough to come with us?" Erza questioned.
"Yup, now let's go," I really wanted to get off this topic.
As we sat on the subway, we all chattered excitedly about prom. From dates, to dresses, to shoes. That was all we talked about. We had planned to sleep over together that night, which I was looking forwards too. It would be nice to spend the night of our lives together.
"Juvia is so excited to go to prom with Gray-sama!" Juvia squealed as we started to slow down.
"I bet Gray is excited too. He pretends that he is all "cool" but I bet he loves the attention that you are giving him," Erza stats as we walk off. As we entered town, shops surrounded us. I loved going to the center of town!
"Let's go here!" Levy exclaimed and pointed to a dress shop nearby. We all agreed and walked in. Dresses, shoes, and various types of accessories sprawled throughout the store. A sweet smell like fruit filled the room.
"I'm going to go look at these dresses," Erza pointed to some sleek long dresses.
"Juvia will go with!" Juvia exclaimed, following Erza.
'Let's go look at these ones," Levy pointed to some shorter dresses. I followed quietly while I looked at my phone.
I put my phone in my pocket and decided to look around. I picked up a couple dresses, but nothing really caught my eye. I don't know where Levy went off to, her tiny body was lost in the sea of dresses. Man, finding a dress was harder than I thought it would be!
As I was going trough these long dresses, I saw a flash of pink. I spun around and saw a long pink dress near the dressing rooms. I walked over to it, almost in a trance. The dress was a salmon pink, just like Natsu's hair. It was a long dress, slim at first, then at the waist, the cloth puffs out. It had a nice pattern with white sequences in the middle. I was in love with it.

"Oh it's really pretty," a small voice. I spun around and saw Levy standing behind me holding a green, short, sequenced dress.
"Yeah," I agreed.
"Well, try it on!" she exclaimed, grabbing the dress and pushing me into a dressing room. I closed the door and locked it. It took a long while for me to strip from my clothes, every part of my body aching. When I got them off, I slid the dress on and zipped it up. I looked in the mirror and my face lite up. I looked really good. Though, you could see the bruises that covered my arms.
"I really like it," I told Levy after opening the door. I saw the other two girls were there waiting too.
"It looks amazing on you!" Levy exclaimed.
"Juvia is jealous of how good Lucy looks," Juvia complimented.
"Lucy, are those bruises?" Erza asked, staring at my arms. I stiffened and nodded.
"From my fall," I mumbled.
"That was one heck of a fall," Juvia said.
"Yup, now I'm going to go change!" I exclaimed and rushed back into the dressing room. When I finished changing, I went back out to see all the girls in dresses. Levy was in the green dress from earlier. It went a little above her knees and was a light green color. White sequences were all over it and the green cloth was ruffly. Erza was wearing a long, sleek white dress. A slit on one side of the dress revealed a portion of her leg. A gold colored line held the top of the dress and went over one of her shoulders. The same gold line went around her torso. Juiva had on an elegant blue dress. It started out a dark blue and faded out into lighter shades of blue as it flowed down. A white strip went from under her arm and over her shoulder. They all looked flawless.
"You guys are stunning!" I praised.
"I love this dress!" Levy squealed.
"I think every single one of your guy's dresses are perfect," I told them. They all agreed and went to change out of them. When they came out, we all went to the cash register and bought the pricey dresses. Thank Mavis I had saved up for this.
"Let's go check out some more stores! We still need to get shoes and accessories!" Erza said.
As the day came to an end, I had spent more than enough money. After the dress, I had bought silver heels that were glittery and open toed. I had also bought a fake pink flower for my hair, earrings, a necklace and a few other things. The girls had all spent as much money as me and we finally decided to stop looking around.
"Bye Levy! Bye Erza! Bye Juvia!" I called out as we walked in opposite directions. They all waved goodbye and we went our separate ways. When I checked my phone, I saw I had ten unread messages.
I giggled at how worried he was but immediately replied. I didn't check my phone all day and didn't even think about it. I didn't know Natsu would freak out like this. It was kinda cute though.
When I received that text, I was in front of my house. I rushed in and called out his name. I saw him run into the living room and smile sheepishly. He eyed the bags I was holding and I hid them behind my back. No way was he going to look at them! I want it to be a surprise!
"No peeking, now out!" I yelled at him.
"Fine, fine. I was just worried that you were mad so I came to your house," he said as he walked over to me. He gave a quick peck on my cheek and then walked towards the door.
"Bye Luce!" he called out.
"Bye Natsu!" I called back and he shut the door. That boy was too much. I can't wait to go to prom with him. It was going to be an amazing night.
