The spirit world was alive with gossip and whispers, almost everyone knew about the audience Leo had requested with the spirit king yet no one but Aries knew why, she kept quiet due to respect for her friend. The time was set and two weeks later Leo escorted Lucy into his world and she went before the spirit king with him by her side. Everyone wanted to know what was happening behind closed doors, was it about Ella? Was there finally question about where she would fit in? Or was it something else entirely? Two hours had already passed and the murmurs never dulled.
Inside the chamber was drastically different, quiet negotiations and pleas passed back and forth between the three and at the end of four hours an agreement had been made. Tears from frustration turned to joy flowed freely down her cheeks. Lucy would become a spirit, the spirit of the whip and she would be treated as any other spirit, no exceptions and she had agreed. She would be expected to serve her owners no matter who or how her past had affected their relationship. She would be expected to protect and serve and train diligently. Her world would be the celestial one now. Leo was ordered to leave the room and he did so diligently, bowing respectfully to the king and kissing his beautiful partner quickly before leaving.

"Are you sure this is what you want?" the king's voice was booming, demanding respect. In return he had a lot of respect for the strong wizard standing in front of him, she had a good heart and would make a strong spirit, it had never been done before however there were ways. He was curious himself to see what she would become.
"I have never been so sure of anything in my entire life." She said confidently, raising her head up to meet his powerful gaze. "I am in love with a spirit, my child is half spirit, this world is already my world, no matter if I'm a part of it or not." She had a fierce passion in her voice and knew deep in her soul this was the decision she would make a hundred times over again.
"So be it." He raised himself from his throne and started the magic circle encompassing her. Before it was even halfway done Lucy could already feel the immense magical power it held and for the first time since she had even hatched the thought, her stomach started to knot. She hadn't even thought about the process of becoming a spirit. She didn't let her confidence waiver though, she stood strong and let the magic wash over her. This was the life she chose for herself and for the people she loved.
A bright golden light seemed to raise up from the ground but also descend from the sky at the same time. She felt warm, not hot though, comforted, her heart seemed to be the warmest as the circle closed. The powerful magic lifted her off of her feet and she felt what she could only describe as her mortality, slipping away. She felt stronger, lighter and more powerful. She felt all the galaxies and the stars fall into line with her, she was one of them, she was another star now. She remembered her day dreams of her dancing with Loke in the abyss of stars and remembered how safe she felt in his arms, because in hindsight, he had been those stars all along. He had always been her everything. She felt as if seconds became hours as she stayed suspended in the light. Those hours turned into days, years, eons it felt like before she was finally released and the light faded from around her, and her feet touched the floor once more. Before the king stood no longer a wizard, but a spirit, clad in light blue and gold, a glowing whip hanging from her side. He smiled in an almost fatherly manner and collapsed back into his throne. Even the king of the spirits, who could stop time in the human world could reach his magical limit in his own world. She fell to her knees, emotions overwhelming her, happy tears flowed freely down her cheeks and she thanked him over and over again before he sent her away to be with Leo.

When she left the chamber she was greeted by all of the spirits she used to hold, they all smiled at her and welcomed her, even the usually cool Aquarius who had softened around the edges due to Ella. They all held their keys now as their contracts were broken, she looked down into her own hand and realized that she too held a key. A silver whip like rope wove down the barrel of a gold stem, the flair at the end was silver as well and was shaped as a star, the fifth point being the end of the whip itself. She looked to Leo who was standing proudly at her side.
"We all agree we want Ella to hold our keys, and we want you to give them to her yourself." He hugged her tightly before handing her his own key, one by one the spirits nodded, smiling, handing her their keys as well. All willing to make a contract with Ella, all proud to be hers. Lucy smiled brightly as she thanked them all, these hadn't just been her spirits, they were her friends, spirits she counted on and cared about, she loved every single one of them in a way and was so proud to be able to hand the keys to her daughter.
Loke and Lucy crossed back into the human world and she noted right away how strange it felt. She wouldn't have been able to cross if it hadn't been for Loke's guide but that was quickly forgotten as Ella bounded up to them, hugging them both tightly. Lucy remembered the day she had told her daughter of her plans and how Ella had been nothing but proud and excited, she wanted to share both of her worlds with her mother and now she could, forever.
"You're going to be an incredibly strong wizard Ella. Your compassion and heart will get you just as far as your skills and fighting ability, all of us are so proud of you and we're excited to watch you grow, right by your side, fighting with you." Lucy presented her the keys and kissed her forehead. "We'll love you forever."
"I love you guys too, I promise to make you proud." The fiery determination that burned in her eyes made her parents so proud. Loke leaned down to kiss his wife tenderly before they all returned to the celestial world, Ella to make contracts and train, and her parents to return home.
The celestial world had always been part of Lucy, and now she was a part of it, she had become a star and she couldn't be happier.

The Court of Souls?
What do we talk about tonight?~“How about a story?”~Fine by me. Which story? Hopefully a good one.~“There was once a lonely child in a world filled with myths, gods and demons. Only power counted there and the weak were worse than cattle. A world where survival of the fittest ruled.”~Was it strong then?~“No, but the child had a power. One that made him stand between light and darkness. Nothing could escape him, so he was shunned by his people.”~ What did he do? Did he fight his fate? Did he hide his power? What was it?~“Oh, he fought. He fought a lot. And no thing could escape his power. It was something that everyone had to live with.”~So he became a hero and changed the world?~»…”~Tell me.~“Nooo, that’s not how the story goes. This isn’t a story of a noble man, doing good amidst a sea of monsters. This is a story of a demon who was… kinder than the rest.”~A kind demon? How boring.~“I think it would be better if I tell the story, so you can judge for yourself.”~So tell the story!

I'm a novice when it comes to grammar but I hope you enjoy the adventures of Saladin who was a mining slave until his world changed and set him free. Watch him grow, and change from a lovable pervert to someone that everyone respects.Horrifying and unique creatures which can never be seen unless your literally messed up.You're wrong if you thought it's one of those typical harem adventure stories as it has lots of twists.Saladin would gain a ring which would be the main core of the story.By the way, if you think the romance is cliche and predictable, then guess again. The main plot would appear later in the chapters but if you stayed all the way, than you're going to have the time of you're life.Warning it contains tragic, mature and gore scenes

First and foremost, I must apologize as this story is currently on an indefinite hiatus. School, my main project, and writer's block have gotten in the way. I was rather unprepared when I began posting this and kind of just did it on a whim. Thus, I shall ensure I am thoroughly prepared before posting anything else, but I plan to return to this someday to conitnue it. What better retirement plan for a scumbag than to become a demon? Whether he likes it or not, that's Berrick's only choice. Heaven thinks hell is getting a little lukewarm and Berrick is just the guy to heat things up again. Follow Berrick as he works for home and hell as one of the few Egg Guardians. Author's note: Are you looking for bad writing, terrible dialogue, short chapters, and slow releases? Then you've come to the right place! This is honestly just something I'm writing for fun and figured I'd publish while I'm working on my main project, but I always appreciate constructive criticism so I can improve. Picture obtained on google.

I was originally fueled by anger and disdain to write this and looking back, most of what I wrote for this story was unplanned and a bit trashy. I kinda stopped having ideas for this, so I stopped in the end. If you're looking at this right now, you probably shouldn't read this because it's only 12 crappy chapters in and yeah... Sorry to the people who might've liked this. (Maybe one day I'll continue this, but for now, I have other plans) Grey, a prince, is unsure about what to do when he starts running away from an enemy beast tamer. He's unsure on what to do now that his father, the king, is dead. In the forest alone, he'll discover a small companion and a rogue. Together will they figure a way to take back Grey's kingdom? Or will they just die in vain? Let's be honest here, most of you probably like the fox aspect of the story the most. (BTW the cover design is made by me. Terrible, I know) I'm kind of done with writing bs descriptions that I might change in the future, plus I'm not very good with being thoughtful with quotes and stuff like that. I just write what pops into my mind, which is usually stupid things. So the description may or may not be accurate so I've changed it to being very vague.

"Terrifying.""Brilliant.""Wow.""The Shaking is a unique story. Well defined characters with a good pace of the story."Seismic terror is about to strike...Maverick geologist Brian McLean was ridiculed when he warned London and south east England were at imminent risk of suffering a major earthquake.
