After a lot of talking, laughing and take-out pizza, Natsu brought up the idea to play truth or dare. Levy squealed at the idea and me and Gajeel groaned. We all got in a circle and sat down on the floor. I sat between Gray and Juvia, who were constantly making eye contact and then looking away blushing. I wondered what was going on with them...
"Okay lets start" Said Jellal as he placed an empty bottle in the centre. "Who wants to go first?"
"I will" volounteered Erza. She grabbed the bottle and span it in one swift motion. It started to slow and passed me... Juvia and finally stopped on Levy.
'Levy Truth or Dare!" Questioned Erza excitedly.
"Truth" Said Levy quickly.
"Hmm. Lets's think..." Said Erza as she held her chin in her hand. "If you could date any one here.. Who would you choose?" She said cunningly.
Levy's face immediantly went red as she fumbled in her space on the floor.
'Uh... Can I switch to dare...?" She asked quietly.
"Sure!" Said Natsu from the other side of the circle. "I dare you to answer that question!" He says proudly and we all laugh... Except Levy of course.
"I...I can't! Isn't there a forfeit or something?" Levy asked, her eyes filled with despiration.
"Fine." Answered Erza and Levy straightened her back and sat up from happiness. "You have to kiss the person of our choice!" She said excitedley. Levy sunk back into the floor, her face grew red as she knew who everyone would choose. We all huddled in a circle behined a sofa, away from Levy, to decide on a person.
"Who are we gonna choose then?" Asked the clueless Gajeel.
"Shut up Iron Head, who do you think?" Natsu whisper-shouted.
"Okay so I'm guessing we all agree on Gajeel right?" I said, getting very excited to watch my best friend kiss her crush. Levy had told me many times about her crush on Gajeel and the rest of the group had noticed it too. Apart from Gajeel himself. The numb skull.
Gajeel jumped back from the 'huddle' in shock.
"WAA? ME?!" He shouted and we all shushed him.
"Yes you now shut up and go!" Erza whispered, authority evident in her voice. She pointed towards Levy and Gajeel slowly sat back down in his place, as did all of us.
"Levy, we had decided on Gajeel, now go." Erza commanded. She was having fun I could tell.
Levy puffed her cheeks and mumbled about how unfair this game was and she didn't want to play anymore, before being pushed over to Gajeel and landing in front of him. Both of their faces erupted into redness as they slowly started to lean towards eachother. They quickly pecked lips, faces even redder than before. Levy scuttled back to her seat and sat awkwardly looking at the suddenly-interesting-carpet. Gajeel was frozen; also staring at the ground. We all laughed at them before carrying on with the game. After a few turns, Gray had to scream from the rooftops that he was 'gonna get some lovin from Juvia', Natsu had to eat some mouldy cake from Erza's fridge and Jellal had to 'seductively' take off Erza's blouse and wear it for the rest of the night, which was basically a dare for Erza too as she had to spend the night in her bra, the bottle finally landed on me. Oh goodie.

"Truth or Dare Lucy" Said Jellal.
Crap. What do I pick? If I pick truth, they'll make me spill something that I definitley don't want to... but if I choose dare, I'm 100% sure it will involve Natsu...
"Dare" The words escaped my lips before I had a chance to decide. Welp. There goes my life. This is the end.
"I dare you to go in the closet for a Seven Minutes in Heaven with Natsu." He said as if it was script. They definitley planned this the little buggers.
I rolled my eyes and got up.
"Come on then Natsu.' I didn't even bother protesting. I grabbed Natsu's hand and pulled him toward a coat closet next to the kitchen. Natsu's face was plastered with surpise, that slowly turned to a smirk, as he turned to face the circle of shocked friends. They totally didn't expect me to go through with it.
I turned to shut the door and shouted to start the timer. The closet was small, dark and quite stuffy. A few coats hung from the low ceiling and a mop and bucket sat in the corner. Natsu's hands suddenly grabbed my waist.
"Lets get started" he growled.
Before his face could get anywhere near mine I placed my hand on it; pushing him away.
"Touch me and your dead." I said firmly.
"Come on Luce. Don't you wanna finish what we started this morning?" He said seductively. Nope. I'm not falling for it.
"I already told you. That was a mistake Natsu. I know what you're like. I'm not gonna fall that low." His hands dropped from my waist.
"Ouch." He said, before sliding his back down the wall at the back and sitting with his knees to his chest.
I sat oppisite him staring into the darkness of the closet. The closet was silent, the air thick.
"You know Lucy, I don't think of you as just a girl to sleep with." Natsu said, breaking the silence that I was quite ok with. I said nothing, just listening to what he had to say. Once he realised I wasn't going to reply he spoke again.
"You're different you know. The moment I met you I could tell I was going to like you.
As much as I try not to gain feelings for you, I can't help it. I've only ever had feelings for someone once..." He trailed off and moved his hand to his forehead, pushing his fringe back, keeping it there. "S-something happened and we broke up... ever since I've not trusted anyone. At first I blocked everyone out; My family, my friends... Eventually I let them back in again but I was this new person. A 'Play Boy' is what I guess you call it." He said with a chuckle, but then became serious again. "I started acting like a douche and got with a load of girls. I thought... I thought that if I was with all these girls, I could forget about... her. "He took in a shakey breath and looked into my eyes. "But then you came along. You changed my life Luce. I became myself again. I can't stop thinking about you, everyday. I think... I think I might be falling for you."

I was shocked. Speechless. I literally had no idea how to reply. Seriously? How do you reply to that? I sat there, staring into his eyes.
"Natsu, I-" I was cut off when a blinding light entered my vision. I squinted hard, trying to stop my eyes from exploding from the random impact.
"Times up guys!" Said a very excited Levy who stood in the doorway. Oh my God it was just the light from outside. Geez. "Woah wait a minute why are you guys just sat there?" Squealed Juvia in disapointment as she ran over beside Levy.
"Uh.. We were just talking" Natsu said.
Yep. Sorry to disappoint" I said plainly.
I mouthed to Natsu that I'd talk to him later, before scrambling to my feet and walking out of the closet. Natsu and the girls followed close behined as we quickly repositioned ourselves in the circle.
It seemed the rest had carried on playing. As I looked around the circle, there sat Erza in only her underwear and her face as red as her hair. Next to her was Jellal, still wearing her blouse but now with the word 'STUPID' on his forehead in black marker. Next came Gajeel who sat looking pretty much the same... Must of been picking Truths. Gray and Juvia sat side by side with red faces. I leaned towards Levy slowly.
"What happened with them two" I whispered, discretely pointing towards the red-faced couple.
"They had to makeout for 2 minutes." She said with a giggle, covering her mouth with her hand.
"Good for them" I said with a smirk spreading across my face. "They seriously should just start dating already!"
"Tell me about it!" Replied Levy whilst rolling her eyes and then laughing.
Jellal got up and gave the idea of a group photo for all our scrapbooks. I went to my bag and fished for my camera (that I coveniently brought) and placed it on a stack of books ahead of us all, before setting a timer and running to pose. Gajeel stood with his arm leaning on Levy's head, Juvia clung to grays naked chest whereas Jellal and Erza stood as two regular people. I was startled when Natsu placed his arm around my shoulder but I quickly relaxed and pulled a 'piece sign' to the camera just in time for to click.
Erza then annouced it was time for a movie. We all agreed and started getting ourselves back to normal. We all got changed into clothes to sleep in and made our way to the large sofa, infront of a flat screen TV.
I sat beside Natsu at the edge of the sofa underneath a green, fluffy blanket. I felt Natsu reach and grab my hand beneath. He looked up at me smiling and I smiled back. I couldn't stop thinking about what he said earlier. I definitley I have feelings for him. But I don't know how to tell him. I gave his hand a gentle squeeze before joining the discussion to decide on a movie. 'Step Brothers' ended up being chosen and we all sat watching. Everyone sat, squashed together; Gray next to Juvia, Erza next to Jellal and Levy next to Gajeel - All covered in multiple blankets and cushions.
I checked my phone and noticed the time was around 2:00am, suddenly feeling tired, then locked it and placed it in the pocket of my sweat pants.
I leaned over to Natsu and placed my head on his shoulder, feeling him place his head on mine. My eyelids became heavy and slowly started to shut, eventually I fell asleep.

Johanna Milton and her friends have an answer: delve into Ancient ruins, avoid Changed beasts and mana pockets, and salvage Ancient materials, collectibles, and trinkets to sell. Suddenly, Talents straight out of fantasy novels become theirs. While they try to make sense of what happens, eyes turn to them, to the four who seem to break all rules. Or are they merely following them? Because, in the Beyond where he's spent 150 years waiting, one dead Ancient knows the truth. Douglas Moore has played those games often enough when he was alive to make sense of the System that rules the Changed world. He can no longer act on his own, but he has access to the Interface. And four people for which he can bring whatever it takes to face the world. Change is coming. The Changed Ones is a slow-burn litrpg fantasy trilogy (Ancient Bones, Ancient Books, Ancient Bonds) set on Earth, 150 years after the RPG Apocalypse... which mostly failed. It is an homage to the venerable ancient RPGs of the Golden Box era, the Baldur's Gates, and many others, offering adventure where You must gather your party before venturing forth. Keywords: LitRPG, realistic setting, low-leveling, post-post-apocalypse, fantasy earth, slow-burn, secondary POVs, female primary MC, team adventure, worldbuilding. Trigger warnings: casual swearing, adult innuendo (no explicit scenes whatsoever, though). Oh, and potentially a bit of politics. Bonus content: a Litrpg Easter Egg hunt. With lots of eggs across the book, some easy, some hard to find. Current score: 6/20 (20 eggs, 6 found) Publication schedule: on hold until September for book 2.
