"Nice to meet you roomie" He said with a huge smile on his face. My heart fluttered.
"Y-You too" I replied. He held his hand out for a shake and I grabbed it. His hand was really warm and strong. Whats going on with me? My eyes slowly travelled down his body. He wore a large black and white raglan shirt, black skinny jeans and a pair of trainers.
"Like what you see?" He said with a smirk. My cheeks suddenly flared red as I realised I probably looked a little too longer than I should have.
"U-Uhm sorry I-I uhm" I looked down and checked the time in my phone to feel less awkward. 13:18. Baka!
"Crap I'm late!" I randomly exclaimed quickly. "Sorry I-I've got to go"
I bolted towards the door and opened it.
"See ya later Luigi!" he shouted down the hallway.
I completely forgot that Levy invited me to lunch with her and a few of her friends. Dammit.
I ran towards the elevator and waited a few seconds. After what felt like an hour, the doors finally slid open and I stepped in. I repetitively pressed the ground floor button as if it was going to make the ride any quicker. Damn why is this elevator slow.
Eventually the doors opened and I quickly walked towards the dining room, trying not to look like a creep. My eyes scanned the area until they fell upon a familiar small, blue friend.
"Lu-chan!" Levy exclaimed when she spotted me.
"Hey! Sorry I'm a little late.. I got a little caught up with my roommate" I replied feeling a little embarrassed.
We walked towards a long table at the back of the room. There sat quite a few people i didn't know. I only recognised Mira.

"Everyone, this is Lucy!" Said Levy when we made it to the table. She sat down and gestured for me to sit between her and a red headed girl.
"Nice to meet you Lucy, I'm Erza" the red head said. She was extremely pretty, wearing a red blazer and black skirt that stopped a little above her knees. I smiled in return, not questioning why she as wearing a uniform when she didn't have to.
"You too" I replied happily.
"I'm Gray" A guy with raven hair said to me cooly. "So how are you finding the place?" He was good looking and quite muscular.
"Good so far, I don't actually start lessons until tomorrow' I replied, smiling while he nodded.
"Whats your subject Lucy?" Asked Mira, looking happy as usual.
"Well I really like English, so I'm studying that. I'd love to be an author." I laughed.
"Thats why me and you are gonna get along so well!" Levy said nudging my arm with her elbow. I smiled.
After getting acquainted with everyone, I went to line up and get some food with Erza.
"Who's the lucky room mate then?" Asked Erza making me laugh.
"Someone called Natsu, he kept hitting on me which was a little awkward" I said with a snort.
"Natsu Dragneel!? Wow, have fun living with that" She laughed making me a little scared. Oh god what did she mean.

Now I knew everyone at the table; Mira, Levy, Erza, Gray, Jellal and Gajeel. It was great to make so many friends on my first day. I must have been really lucky.
"The food is actually pretty good here." I said as I took a huge bite out of my cheeseburger.
"Yeh, you should try the ice cream, it's really nice" said Gray whilst eating a cone.

"To be honest, I think the best thing they do is definitely the chilli." Said a voice coming from behind me. A chill ran down my spine. Everyone on the table turned their heads to look at the source of the voice.
"Oh hey fire-breath!" Shouted Gray from opposite me.
I turned myself around to also see the source. Natsu and I suddenly made eye contact.
"YOU!" We both said in unison.
"What are you doing here!" I said, glaring at him.
"Well, These are my friends" he replied simply.
"Hey Natsu" said Gajeel who sat next to Levy. "Why are you so late? Lunch is gonna be over in about 10 minutes..."
"I was just un-packing my stuff. I moved dorm rooms remember." Natsu replied.
A loud bell stopped the conversation to indicate the end of lunch hour.
"Well, speaking of un-packing I best get back to my room and start." I said to all my friends, waving them goodbye.
"See you tonight Luigi!" Said Natsu making my roll my eyes in annoyance.
"IT'S LUCY!" I shouted back angrily. Why do I even bother?

I Have Even Read the Rulebook!
As all stories begin, Prof died. Yes, truck-kun had something to do with that, but also a bird, a cat and some rebar. When he was presented with with the opportunity in the Afterlife Administration Bureau to be transmigrated into a game-like fantasy world, he did something, no one ever did: he read the Rulebook. Follow Prof on his road to be rich without working, touring a whole new world without a care and witness his realisation, that despite having read the Rulebook the folks living with the System for untold millennia know more about the rules. Important notes: 1, I'm not a native speaker, so be prepared for occassional typos, iffy grammar and maybe awkward sentences. The spell check was running, when I wrote the chapters, but it works in strange ways... If you point out mistakes, I will try to correct them 2, Scheduling will be two chapters a week, posted Saturdays before noon (CET). Depending on how much new chapters I can write consistently there will be probably more but as long as I have leftover chapters, the two per week will be posted no matter what. Chapters will be around 1500-2500 words as MS Word counts it. 3, I did not and will not post this novel on another site, if you find it somewhere else, please inform me 4, The Main Character's progression is slow, there will be no Levels, Skills, Abilities, Feats, Perks and Cheat Powers raining down on him 5, I've put Comedy as a genre because of my writing style not because the novel is a comedy per se. On the other hand, Traumatising Content is there because there is a lot of speciesism - those Elves are not nice people. 6, I put a lot of pop-cultural references into the chapters, try to find them! Enjoy!
