Unfortunately, this is not a new chapter. I'm really sorry to have been MIA for such a long time, but I feel like my motivation for this story has died down significantly. I apologize, and I thank everybody who had stuck around this long. I might try coming back in the future, but for the foreseeable future, there are no plans to do so.
On a more positive note, I started a new story on a different account! I might be biased but I think it's even better than this one.

Synopsis:
Having dreams of helping the world is something to be proud of. Unfortunately for Alice, dreams are only for nobles, not commoners like her. This all changes when the Devil crash-lands in the forest and hands her a new job.
What else is one supposed to do when given power but purge the system and fix the world?
Too bad nobody told Alice that there may have been a reason not to.

Six months before his arrival, a deadly virus spread across the world killing most of the population. Aidren and others were told the virus caused the activation of specific abilities and were taken into protective custody by the government because they were dangerous to others. Told the activation of his powers caused his parents' death, Aidren was classified as a Carpenter, those who manipulate plant matter. The other classes are Welders and Sirens, who can manipulate metal and soundwaves. Plagued from recurring nightmares of his father’s voice and knowledge that his powers are different from others, he believes that he is being lied to and wants answers. Alone in a vast expanse of knowledge and void of any previous memory what else was I to do but learn? The world above awaited me, but down here it was all I could do to read about it, prepare for it. How long would it take for me to see my first of the Learned Races, or encounter my first monster? To simply see a [City Guard] or a [Warrior] maybe even a [Mage], even then I'd be sated no matter how basic the Class. I wanted to witness what I read about, the fantastical [Secret Stache] of a [Treasure Hunter] or a [Pickpocket] using [Deft Hands]. These were natural occurrences above, but alas, I was below. And this deep down, I'd see my first horror before seeing any mere monster. My escape were the books but soon I'd turn that knowledge into a real escape, I'd emerge from this dear library and claw my way above. But I'd need to prepare myself, I just didn't know how yet. So back to my books.

FREE (Free Reality Engagement Engine) is a new virtual reality game engine that completely gets rid of the limitations that all previous VR games had to deal with. The company that made the engine announced the launch of the first game created on it simultaneously, called FREE World. Sandra Kiell is a computer science major at UCLA and was working as an intern for Breeze Entertainment (the creators of FREE) during the announcement and was able to pre-order the game before it went public as a result. Not a hardcore player shes more interested in the having fun in FW and just wants to enjoy the game how she want's, but will the game and the people in it let her?This will be the first story I've written so I appreciate any feedback you wish to give me (how to improve my writing, character development, ect.).
