"No!" I snorted at Dustin.

"But what if. HYPOTHETICALLY, what would you do if this uh creature took over minds. How would you get it out of say a friends body?" He asked again, bugging the life out of me.

"Well then lucky us because there doesn't seem to be such a thing!" I reply rolling my eyes at him and shutting the door.

"But what if!" He shouts through the door.

I ignored him and slipped on a pair of pajama shorts and an oversized sweater. I hummed to myself as I tidied up my room. Throwing the last of the laundry in the basket I heard a knocking sound on my window. I ignored it and played it off as my mind along with the wind and rain outside tricking me.

I tucked myself underneath the covers and rolled over to turn off the lamp. The knocking grew more intense. I nervously got up and grabbed the nearest textbook I could find and made my way to the window. I quickly ripped open the curtains to reveal a face looking back at me. I jumped backwards and dropped the book on accident.

"Hey its just me!" A familiar voice rung out.

"Billy?" I questioned as I opened the window fully.

"The one and only." He replied sarcastically.

"What are you doing here- oh." I said noticing the fresh cut along his jawline. I moved aside so he could crawl in.

"Yeah uh. Dad kicked me out." He replied almost nonchalantly. He tried smiling to hide his emotions but I saw it falter and his eyes begin to tear up.

Without hesitating I jumped forward to hug him even with his rain soaked clothes. This boy I barely knew was trusting me with his home life for who knows what reason.

He flinched away from me at first but slowly gave in and rested his head on top of mine with his arms wrapped around my neck. I patted his back like you do when consoling a crying and upset toddler.

I leaned away long enough to ask him if he wanted some dry clothes. He shook his head no and said he'd be fine.

"Well you can't go back home and I'm not letting you in my bed all gross and soaking wet."

"In your bed?" He slowly questioned.

"Yeah where else do you plan to go?" I replied while digging through my drawers for another pair of pajamas for myself.

"Why wouldn't you just kick me out?" He asked astonished.

"It's raining?" I questioned back. Surely he didn't think I'd leave him to his own devices.

"So?"

"So I'm not gonna do that." I said simply shrugging.

His angry composure cracked and he unfolded his arms. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." I said smiling over my shoulder at him. "I'll be back."

I slipped out the door and into my moms room. She never got rid of the clothes after dad so I quickly pulled out a pair of shorts and a large T-shirt from the closet before quickly slipping back into my room. I locked the door behind me and turned around to find Billy half passed out in my small white chair that stood at my vanity. He looked so peaceful and innocent as he slept, my heart wrenched for him and his situation. I lightly tapped his shoulder to wake him up.

"Hmm?" He breathed out as his long eyelashes fluttered open.

"Sorry sleeping beauty. Figured you'd like some dry clothes." He slowly nods in response and takes them. After he quickly ripped his jacket off I realized he planned to change right in front of me. I turned bright red and turned on my heel quickly to face the wall.

He chuckled. "Don't want to watch the show?" He questioned.

"Uh no."

"Too bad I'm finished then."

I turned around to reveal a lying smiling Billy that only had shorts on. His jeans and belt were carelessly thrown on the floor by his boots while he folded his shirt that somehow remained dry under his leather jacket.

"Would you put a shirt on Jesus!" I cried smacking my hands over my eyes.

"That's uncomfortable. For both parties." He added as he regained his usual sarcastic attitude back. He walked to my bed and covered himself with the sheets tucking himself in. I stood there shocked.

"Come on sweetcheeks it's bed time!" He said closing his eyes.

"What is wrong with you?" I ask lightheartedly.

He just held his hands out like a toddler signaling that I should come lay down.

"Turn around." I ordered him.

"Why?"

"I'm gonna change." I reply hesitantly.

"Oh I'll watch then."

I folded my arms and waited for him to avert his eyes. Once I was sure he truly had his head under the covers and wasn't peaking I quickly changed facing the wall. I whipped back around convinced he'd be peaking but he was fast asleep. I rolled my eyes at him and got in on my side of the bed. There wasn't much room so I had to get much closer to him than I'd like to in an attempt to avoid falling off the bed. I moved a curl out of his face as he snored contently in my bed and quickly fell asleep next to him.

I slowly woke up snuggled into the side of a warm body. My head was on Billy's chest and his chin was resting on top of my head lightly. His arm laid out across my chest and our legs entwined.

Shit.

I jumped up quickly and fell off the bed. This woke him up and his eyes popped open surprisingly fast.

He sat up quickly. "Margaret?" He called over the side of the bed. I stood up and quickly snatched up my alarm clock.

"Shit it's 6:45 we have 15 minutes to get to school!" I said panicking. Suddenly he started laughing at me.

"What is WRONG with you?"

"Well first off Margo it's Saturday." I felt my cheeks warm up as he used my nickname. "Two why are you so pink?"

"I- I'm not. I'm gonna go shower." I said while speeding out of the room.

"Fuck."

I mentally facepalm myself for not bringing clothes into the bathroom with me. I wrapped myself up in a towel as tight as I could and snuck back into my own bedroom. I looked around and noticed that every trace of Billy was gone, minus the shirt that was left neatly folded on my bed. I giggled. Big bad Billy had made the bed and left his shirt as a makeshift peace offering.

I opened my closet and slipped on some jeans before tentatively pulling on Billy's shirt. It felt weird. We had no connection, we weren't dating, and I barely knew him yet I was wearing his shirt that smelled like him. A deep cologne mixed with laundry detergent and the faint smell of cigarettes lingered on it. I pulled his jean jacket that I never gave back on and began to get ready to head out the door.
