"You both look lovely." I smiled at Harry and Luna.
I walked behind the two of them, as we walked through the corridors.
"Where's your date?" Luna turned, and asked me.
"I don't have one." I simply told her.
I wish I could have brought Draco, I knew better not to bring him.
It would have only caused problems.
"You never know, until you do it." Luna spoke softly, as she smiled.
I swear, it feels like Luna reads my mind.
"Sometimes it feels like I can." Luna replied out loud.
"Stop doing that!" I laughed, as the three of us continued to walk.
As we neared Slughorn's party, right before the entrance, Draco sat against a pillar.
His legs were straight out in front of him, as he stared blankly at his shoes.
Our light footsteps, caused Draco to look over at us.
His eyes drifted to me.
They traveled up my body, before they stopped at my eyes.
He looked upset.
The corners of his lips quivering, as he tried to hold a straight face.
The skin around his eyes, and the tip of his nose, was a light pink.
Almost as if he was crying.
"Draco..." I managed to say, as I stopped walking.
His eyes lit up, only for a second.
Just ask him to come with you!
Come on, just spit the words out!
Who cares what they think?!
But, before I could speak, Harry grabbed my arm.
"Come on, were going to be late." Harry pulled me away, as we walked toward the door.
I looked back at Draco.
He had pulled his knees up to his chest, his head hung down.
Draco's eyes were closed now, as he breathed loud and heavy.
Now, I feel like a total dickhead.

I'm such a pussy.
"You should feel that way." Luna spoke to me with a grin on her face, as we entered Slughorn's party.
There were people everywhere.
Chatter filled the air, as soft music played in the background.
There were other students dressed in white suits, serving drinks and platters of food.
It was truly a classy party.
"Drink?" Neville asked me, as he held a platter of champagne filled glasses.
"Sure." I smiled at him, taking a glass.
"I didn't get invited, but that's ok." Neville said.
"I'm sorry Neville, if I would have known you wanted to come, I would have brought you as my plus one."
Now, I felt even worse.
I would have took Neville with me, he's nice and kind. Always willing to help me if I need it.
"That's alright, I'm glad he let me serve drinks here. I'm glad to see Luna here too." Neville said, before walking away.
Luna stood there, swaying her dress from side to side, smiling.
I could see Harry and Hermione hiding behind a curtain talking.
I walked over to Luna, and sipped my drink.
"I've never been to a party this calm before." I laughed.
"It's fun.... you should have asked him." Luna replied.
"Yeah, it would have Harry all in a tussy if I did." I rolled my eyes.
"So what, you only have one life. You might as well spend it doing what you want." Luna spoke softly, as her eyes wondered around the room.
"Why does it always seem like you can read my mind?" I asked her, as I continued to sip my drink.
"Maybe I can... maybe I can't." Luna giggled as she wandered away.
I stepped over to the curtin, peaking my head in.

"You guys all right?" I asked Hermione and Harry.
"Hiding, from Cormac. He tried to get me under the mistletoe, this seems more like a punishment to me, than Ron." She whispered to me.
She really only invited him... to make Ron jealous.
"Oh shoot, here he comes!" Hermione said, as she ran out from the curtin.
Cormac was now behind the curtin with Harry.
I quickly took a few steps away from them.
I looked around for Hermione, she must have hid again.
I quickly slammed the rest of the champagne down.
"You better slow down." Snape spoke lowly as he appeared next to me.
He always seems to pop out of no where.
"I'll do my best, professor." I snapped at him, as I grabbed another glass of champagne.
Snape quickly turned and walked behind the curtin, where Harry and Cormac were.
I watched as Cormac threw up on Snape's shoes.
Harry tried to run for it, but Snape stopped him.
Him and Harry stepped out from the curtin, and Snape talked to him.
He talked so quiet, I couldn't hear what he said.
The music stopped suddenly, and the chatter when quiet.
I turned around quickly, to see Filtch holding Draco by the back of his collar.
"I found this one lurking in the upstairs corridors, he claims to be invited to your party." Filtch said to professor Slughorn.
Draco glanced up at me.
His eyes bounced between professor Slughorn and I.
"Alright, I was gait crashing!" Draco announced.
His face was wrinkled with anger.
Everyone stayed quiet.
"In a moment, I'll escort him away." Snape said, stepping closer.
Draco's eyes bounced between Snape and I, now.
"Certainly, professor." Draco snarled.
His eyes traveled up and down my body, as Filtch threw him out of the party.
I looked over at Luna, a small smile grew on her lips.
"Fine!" I huffed, "Shit, man. Shit!"
I quickly walked through the maze of people, as the music began playing again.
I walked out the door.

Where Giants Fall
A fantasy LitRPG about traversing through worlds and slaying giants with nothing but a wooden suit and an army of treants. Nicholas Atkins didn't expect to wake up naked in the glowing woods. What he did expect was waking up to a hangover after last night's party- fortunately, that wasn't the case. Unfortunately though, he had worse problems to take care of than a headache. At first he blamed it on the alcohol; from what he recalled in Biology, glowing flowers didn't exactly exist in the realm of reality. However he was as sober as he could be, so next he blamed the drugs, but there was a problem- he didn't have the money to do drugs in the first place. When the fairies came, things became even weirder. Talks of climbing towers, magic tricks, and dinner were all on the table. Of course, dinner was the priority, but so was getting back home. However slowly, Nico realized that he might actually want to stay in this fantasy world. After all, he's had enough listening to Professor Paul's lecture on calculus- the swords and sorceries were just an added bonus. Still, staying in this new world has its own costs- and money is but one thing on that long, long list. Updated everyday except Saturday GMT+8 (Specific time varies by around 30 minutes). Mystic Nan
Note: Currently undergoing rewrite, we'll be back soon!(If you enjoy this story, it would help immensely if you considered voting for it at topwebfiction, thank you.) Nan Beauchamp, like many youths of the year 2000-something; will live, work, and die as less than a footnote of a footnote within the abridged history of unremarkable years. This suits her fine. Too bad about the truck that turned her into paste, then. Luckily, or unluckily, fate deigned to give the poor girl another chance to make something of herself in a bizarre universe brimming with magic, spaceships, and... giant talking spiders? This "second chance" seems less than ideal. (A web serial import from Wordpress)

Grinning Enigma
Freddy is a very bad boy. Meets some people that know what he did. He tries to escape punishment, makes it [Redacted]. Freddy might be a mass-murdering troll, but he isn’t a bad person, right? Right? Disclaimer: This is not an instruction manual. If you want to be a horrible human being, go figure it out yourself. Autopsy: Writing this story gave me some degree of insight into how much I've managed to fuck up my own personality by suppressing basic needs. Now I hate myself even more. It started as a story where the MC was supposed to be a blend of the NZ-land shooter and other cancerous personalities. That way I wouldn't feel bad about torturing him. Instead I ended up witnessing all the worst aspects of my own personality, or lack thereof. I'm a horrid person, I can't even bring myself to do what's the only right thing at this point.
