《Emerald》13

Draco locked the door behind us.
While he walked to his bed, he stopped dead in his tracks.
Draco quickly sat on the floor.
He crossed his legs, and closed his eyes.
"Are you ok?" I asked, as I sat down next to him.
His forehead had little drops of sweat forming. It looked like all the color drained from his face. Draco looked paler than ever.
Draco began breathing heavily.
"I think I'm gonna be sick." Draco said, in a high pitched voice.
He ripped his shirt off, trying to cool himself down.
The seems ripped open on the shoulders, as he struggled to get it off.
"Shit!" I yelled, as I jumped to my feet.
I quickly grabbed the small garbage from the corner of his room.
I stuck it in his lap, and pushed his head into the bin.
I pulled his shaggy blond hair back from his face as he began throwing up.
What a lightweight.
I got up quickly, and opened the door. I peaked my head out, and scanned the room for Cedrick.
"Cedrick!" I yelled.
He got up from his chair and ran over, pushing through the people.
"You alright?" Cedrick asked me.
"Come here." I said, quickly pulling him in.
Draco was slumped over, with his head still in the bucket.... still puking.
"I think he drank a little too much." Cedrick laughed.
"Yeah, I think so. Once he stops picking for a little bit, we drag him to the toilet? That pail is gonna fill up fast." I asked him.
"Sounds like a plan to me."
After about 15 more minutes of Draco puking, he stopped for a little bit.
Cedrick, and I both put Draco's arms over our shoulders.
We carried him, with his feet dragging behind us.

His head hung down, slightly bouncing, as we carried him along.
"He's dead weight." I huffed as we got him into the bathroom, that's attached to his room.
Draco let out several groans as we leaned his back against the wall, as he sat right next to the toilet, facing it.
"Im dying, it's killed me! It's killed me!" Draco yelled in a squeaky voice, then he proceeded to let his head slam on the toilet seat.
I pushed his head back up, and he groaned some more.
Cedrick cleaned out the garbage bin while I sat with Draco, who began puking... again for another 15 minutes.
"Thank you." I told Cedrick as he returned with a cup of water and a cold, damp cloth.
I sat next to Draco.
He was leaning back into the wall now, with his head looking up.
I set the cool rag on his forehead, he let out a satisfied sigh.
"Welp, this is your circus to deal with. It's nearly one in the morning, so I'm going to bed." Cedrick gave me a little wave.
"Thank you." I smiled at him as he left. The music had stopped now, everyone must have went to bed.
Draco sat there for a moment, catching his breath.
"How are you not sick, you had more than me?" Draco's speech was slurred, and mumbled now.
I just shrugged.
It's called a tolerance.
Draco turned his head toward me, and smiled. His sloppy drunk smile was cute, he didn't seem so stone cold.
He seemed happy in his drunken, puking state.
Draco seemed sweet at times, when it was just him and I.
Draco pulled me into a hug.
"I never got my kiss." He groaned, as he looked up at the ceiling.

"Your mouth smells like vomit, I'm not kissing your lips." I chuckled.
I kissed his chest and his cheek, my lip stick left red lip prints where they touched his skin.
"What ifffff I..... brushed myyyy..... teeth." Draco slurred together before giving me another cheesy smile.
"You can't even hold your own damn head up." I laughed.
I sat with Draco by the toilet until 2 in the morning.
He finally stopped puking, and sobered up enough for me to be able to help in into bed.
Draco kicked his pants off before falling into bed.
I covered him up, and made sure the pillow was under his head.
"Goodnight, Draco." I said, taking his hand, and holding it for a second.
"Can't you stay with me? I'm cold." Draco begged, curling his legs up to his body.
"I've gotta go, goodnight." I said.
He let go of my hand as he grabbed my head, and gave me a quick kiss.
"Goodnight dear, I'll miss you." He mumbled.
"God," I let out a sigh, "I wish you were this nice when you were sober."
...
"Wake up." Hermione shook me.
"What time is it?" I groaned and pulled the pillow over my face.
"Its seven am, lets go get breakfast." She pulled the blanket off of me.
We walked down, and got some food and coffee from the grand hall.
They sometimes serve breakfast in the grand hall on the holiday weekends.
"I drank too much last night." I groaned, as I sipped my coffee. I rested my head on my hand.
"You never learn." Hermione laughed as she ate a muffin.
Draco walked passed with his usual friends.
Glad to see him alive and well.
Hermione, and I turned our heads toward him.
Draco looked at us, he looked even worse than I did.
I spit my coffee out, and laughed.
Draco had my lipstick stains still on his neck, face, and lips. The left side of his face was bruised as well.
Hermione quickly turned her head to me, and she put her muffin down.
She cleared her throat before she spoke.
"I hope you didn't drink too much, because those color of those lipstick stains look very familiar." Hermione stood up, and dusted her lap off.
"Happy Christmas." She spoke very coldly, before walking away.
'Shit' I said to myself.
