Diego: yep, cool, I'll be waiting😋

He was already standing outside his house at 2:45 pm,

"Hey, you came" he said.

He started laughing.

"let's get going or Eric will eat me alive" you told him.

The two of you were walking to the park. You opened your phone to check the time;

"That's V, isn't it?" Diego asked you.

You were confused for a second then you realized he was talking about your wallpaper.

"Oh, you know BTS?" you secretly hoped you sounded like Jin and Suga. But you really didn't expect him to know about BTS.

"My name is V, I'm good boy" he said and smiled "My sister is an ARMY, I'm not that into them, but their music is really good " he told you.

You wanted to hug this boy now.

"BTS world domination!!! I'd love to meet your sister" you told him, "now I'm a 100% sure that she'll get along so well with Mia"

"Haha, Mia too?" he asked you.

"Yeah, both of us are CRAZY about BTS.. I hope I'm not being too dramatic when I say They're my everything.. even if I am being dramatic, I don't give a shit because I'm not lying" you said.

People could compliment you the entire day and you wouldn't care, if someone said something remotely nice about BTS, you could owe them your entire life.

An over possessive jerk who cannot stand his girlfriend talking to any other dude..gets abusive at times, doesn't respect her, extremely toxic..

You cannot stand him, you've told Maia countless number of times to break it off with him but she doesn't understand.. She thinks he's the one..what bullshit... she's literally in love with Kim Taehyung, Mr. perfection..

You approached them;

You hugged Maia and Eric.

"Won't you hug me y/n?" Dylan asked you.

"Oh hey Dylan, I didn't know you were coming" you said as you hugged that dickhead.

You gave a look to Eric which said 'what the fuck is he doing here?'

Eric gave you the 'I dont know, ask her' as he pointed his chin towards Maia.

And then Maia mouthed 'I'm sorry' and gave you a look that said 'he's clingy'

Honestly, you found it weird yet fascinating how you guys could communicate with your eyes.

"Aw, aren't you happy to see me?" he asked you.

"No" you said.

Diego gave you a weird look, Maia's eyes grew in size and Eric said, "cut him some slack y/n" and laughed.

You laughed along with him to drop this topic.

"Hey Diego" Maia said, to change the topic.

While Dylan eyed her, she got nervous and said "Oh I know everything about everyone"

"Well that's fascinating" Diego said.

They shook hands and introduced themselves to each other.

"y/n, I didn't know you were bringing such a handsome stranger with you" Eric spoke seductively.

"You must be Eric" Diego said.

"And he's smart! Bravo, are you single?" he asked Diego.

"Jeez, you're too forward" Diego laughed "single and unfortunately straight"

"Aw man, that sucks" Eric said and they shook hands and laughed.

The five of you were standing together and you realized you had no common topic to talk about.

"I'll just take a smoke and be back" the obnoxious jerk Dylan said.

As soon as he left you said "Thank God"

"I know right" Eric said.

"I can sense you hate him" Diego said.

"Oh is it? Am I that obvious?" you were seriously OVERFLOWING with sarcasm sometimes..

"Come on now y/n, stop throwing sass" Maia said.

"Yeah alright" you said as you rolled your eyes.

"I missed you so much" Eric said as he hugged you again. You hadn't been well the last two time the three of you had planned to meet, and it was Eric's birthday one of those days.

"I missed you too" you shed fake tears.

"You have a serious passion for drama y/n" he shook his head, "go work in the film industry, you're wasting your time here"

While the two of you were talking, Diego and Maia were exchanging small talk.

They were just talking about how COVID was slightly getting better, about their colleges and the weather.

Diego probably cracked some joke which made Maia chuckle.

And at that very moment, Dylan came back.

"What's the joke, honey?" he asked Maia as he put his hand around her waist.

"Nothing really" she was still chuckling.

"It would've been better had you been there when I said it" Diego laughed too.

"hah, is it?" Dylan said, "would you excuse me and my girlfriend for a moment please?"

You had absolutely no idea what they were speaking about, but what started as a light conversation soon turned into a heated one.

"Well, what do you want me to do then?" you heard Maia shout at Dylan "stay locked up in a fucking cage? Not talk to anybody ?" you had no idea where her confidence was coming from ,she was literally the shyest girl, but you wanted to cheer for her and hype her up.. then Eric stopped you because he probably sensed what you were about to do.

"Baby, I'm not saying that" Dylan said, "I should be the one to make you laugh right? He's just trying to flirt with you, just tell him you're mine and only mine."

"WHY CAN YOU NOT ACCEPT THAT NOT EVERY BOY I TALK TO IS TRYING TO FLIRT WITH ME?" she said, "WHY CANT YOU TRUST ME FOR ONCE? YOU LITERALLY HAVE THE PASSWORDS TO ALL MY ACCOUNTS, YOU'RE ALWAYS LOGGED IN, WHAT DO YOU WANT?"

"Now when you say it like that, it sounds weird, im just looking out for you" he said, "dont make a scene in front of your friends"

"LOOKING OUT FOR ME? YOU'RE SUFFOCATING ME DYLAN" she said, "AND IM THE ONE MAKING A SCENE? WHAT ABOUT THE JOKE YOU'VE MADE OUT OF MY LIFE?"

"I can see you're mad at me, let's talk this out later, somewhere else, in private, it's an order Maia, stop it" he glared at her.

"No, you stop it, I'm done with you, you can go fuck yourself because I'm not gonna do it anymore" she said and came back walking towards the three of you who were just standing there with your mouths open.

You could see her eyes welling up, you put a hand on her shoulder when Dylan came towards you;

"It's all because of you y/n" he shouted, "you're the one who's always filling her up against me, you and Eric"

"Dude, are you listening to yourself?" Eric said, "you're THE MOST TOXIC PERSON EVER, and trust me, I've seen plenty"

"But no one loves her like I do" he was still shouting.

"and that gives you the right to control her life?" you said, "we love her more than you do, you asshole, get going now, we dont want you here"

"I'll see you y/n l/n" he spat it out as a warning.

"Yeah I know I'm a visual, go away now" you said.

As soon as he left, Maia fell on her knees and finally allowed herself to sob.
