Alexa's View
I run down the hall and stares at me.
"Why are you up so early?" Y/n asks.
Woke up too early
"Early? It's 9:00." I say grabbing a cup of coffee.
"Forget to change your clock again, babe?" Y/n asks.
I groan loudly and Y/n laughs.
"I could've stayed in bed, this is so hurtful." I say.
"Didn't know you wanted high blood pressure Y/n says taking the container from me.
She hands me a different one and puts the other container down.
"The other one was salt." Y/n says.
Almost put salt in my coffee
"Thank you. That would've made my made my morning even worse." I say.
Oh, I thank God that you stopped me before that
1 hour later...
"Hurry up." Y/n says reaching across the armrest to open the passenger door.
I trip and spill the coffee.
Tripped over something
Spilled it all over your front seat
"Shit." I say.
"Don't worry about it. Just sit in the back." Y/n says taking her jacket off.
She wipes the seat with her jacket and I get in the backseat.
Didn't even say I'm sorry about that
Time Skip
"Why have you been looking so miserable lately?" Y/n asks.
On and on, it's just more of the same
"You okay?" Y/n asks.
And even when you ask if I'm okay
I nod and Y/n holds my hand.
I try to say I'm fine (I'm fine)
"I know you. Something on your mind?" Y/n says rubbing my hand.
You don't (You don't)
Believe (Believe me)
When I say I'm alright (Alright)
Tears fill my eyes and she hugs me.
You know (You know)
I need you when I try to say I'm fine (I'm fine)

I never tell anyone when I'm upset or angry. Some catch in but Y/n's the only person who ever really asks me if I'm okay.
You know (You know)
It's just (Because I)
Can't admit when I'm sad (I'm sad)
Y/n always knows.
But thank God (You know)
I need you when I try to say I'm fine
Time Skip; Y/n's View
"Where's Alexa?" I ask.
I can hide from everyone else
"I don't know. Why?" Sydney says.
And they won't bat an eye
"Never mind, I might know where she is." I say.
I leave the room and walk down the hall. I go to my dressing room and see Alexa laying on the couch.
"You know you have your own dressing room right?" I ask.
"My couch isn't comfy like yours." Alexa says.
"Are you okay? I'm worried about you." I say.
"How are you the only person who knows when something is wrong with me?" Alexa asks.
No, they never can tell
When I'm fallin' apart on the inside
"So you admit that something is wrong with you?" I ask.
"Yeah. It's just getting harder to hide it." Alexa says twiddling her thumbs.
It gets so hard
Keepin' it up
Keep your eyes down
Keep your chin up
"You don't have to hide it. It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to feel lost sometimes. It's okay to reach out for support." I say.
We all need someone there for us sometimes
"I think that since I've done it so much, I don't know how to stop." She says.
On and on, it's just more of the same
"I'm always lonely but you make me feel a little less lonely." She says.
I get so lonely every day

Until you ask if I'm okay
"When you're not here, nobody cares so I keep it to myself." She says.
I try to say I'm fine (I'm fine)
"You get me. You know when something's up. That's why I'm in love with you." She says.
You don't (You don't)
Believe (Believe me)
When I say I'm alright (Alright)
"It's not that hard, you just think you hide it that well." I say.
You know (You know)
I need you when I try to say I'm fine (I'm fine)
Alexa laughs and I smile.
You know (You know)
It's just (Because I)
"I love you." Alexa says.
Can't admit when I'm sad (I'm sad)
"I love you too." I say.
But thank God (You know)
Alexa smiles and I kiss her.
I need you when I try to say I'm fine

Nostalgic Gamer in a Cultivation World
Dyne Valiant is a frustrated gamer. But as one of the best special ops agents that the world has, his superiors and the government itself ensured that he won’t be able to play video games because of his addictive tendencies. And so he lived and fought without ever being able to play beyond the nostalgic PS-One games. Fate was cruel as he finally meets his end after exacting revenge on those who killed his family. But on his dying moments, another dying man with strange magical powers appears. But unlike Dyne, justice was not served for this man. He then offers Dyne a chance to satisfy the greatest regret of his life… To play the videogames he loved back when he was a kid. Using the enigmatic god-tiered artifact, the Imaginarium Bond, Dyne is revived and sent to the world of cultivators where he must reach for the peak and challenge the gods of that world. And while the path of Immortality and a second life was a great gift, Dyne's joy was elsewhere. Within the Imaginarium Bond were three worlds that the mysterious man created with the last of his powers. These worlds were based on three PS-One classic games and are designed to help Dyne in his Path of Cultivation. Soon, Dyne will reach the Cultivation world and fight the wicked Kings, Saints, Devils, and Gods that now control it. Soon, Dyne will awaken the Genesis Trees of Legaia. Soon he will conquer the many nations with his Rune Knights in the continent of Forsena. Soon he will be reborn as an Endless to battle gods and dragons and slay the founding Emperor of the Fou Empire. Dyne was deprived of gaming all his life. But now his life depends on his gaming. Witness the tales of Dyne Valiant in his adventure as a Nostalgic Gamer in a Cultivation World. --- (Will also be posting this on Scribblehub.com and Webnovel. I have written over 1000 chapters on two other ongoing stories that is ongoing with a 3-4 chapter per week rate at Webnovel and another in Meganovel. This will probably have at least 900 chapters before it ends. And I'm being very conservative. As this story is at its early phase, please read and rate it as such.
