《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Addictive Personality

The next day I went straight to Dr. Raynor's office. She was with another patient, so I waited in her waiting room while she finished up. Loki came with me, not wanting me to go alone. We sat for twenty minutes before Dr. Raynor's office door opened and she saw me waiting.

"Sammee, what have I told you about showing up on my lunch break." She asked me.

"That I should at least bring you food when I do." I replied with a sweet smile and held up a McDonald's bag. Dr. Raynor glanced between me and the bag a few times before sighing.

"You're forgiven." The doctor said as she opened her door wider to invite me in. Loki and I both stood and started walking toward the door when Dr. Raynor stopped Loki. "Not you." She told him before following me into the room.

I turned just before the door shut to see Loki staring daggers at the doctor. I mouthed a quick 'sorry' to him before the door clicked shut.

"Alright, what do you have for me?" Dr. Raynor asked and held her hand out for the bag. I passed to her before walking over to the couch and taking a seat.

I quickly explained why I was here and talked about wanting to get back on antidepressants for a while. Dr. Raynor eventually stopped eating in favor of writing some notes in her notebook.

"We're talking about this in more detail at your next visit." She warned me. "Scheduled visit." She added and pointed her pen at me. "And, I don't want any complaining. Knowing that you're an addict changes your profile."

"What, how?" I asked, confused.

"You have an addictive personality. Just because you're not addicted to Oxy doesn't mean that you didn't channel your addiction into something else."

I still looked at her, not understanding what she was saying.

"You've channeled your addiction into saving your friends, the Avengers." She told me. "Makes sense that you never take your own life into consideration." Dr. Raynor explained before setting her notebook to the side and picking her fries back up. "I think antidepressants will help, but you're right to worry about the withdrawal. I'll do some research and figure out which one will be the best for you to take. You'll have it in about... three days." She said with a shrug. "Can you manage until then?"

"Ya," I nodded. "I'm good for a few more days."

"Good, now get out. I only have half an hour left." Dr. Raynor said with a dismissive wave of her hand.

I thanked her as I left the room and got back to Loki. He was standing with his hands folded behind his back, looking out the window. When he heard the door open, he turned to look at me.

"So?" He asked, brows raised.

"She's going to try and find one with the least withdrawal symptoms. I should have it in three days."

Loki nodded and walked over to me, Grabbing my waist, he leaned down and pressed a kiss to my lips.

"Let's get back to the tower, then. We have to finish packing for the move." Loki told me and started to lead me out of the building. "You also have to practice your Asgardian alphabet." He added, making me smile. Loki took too much pleasure in teaching me his language.

"Of course, professor Loki." I teased with a smile pulling at my lips. Loki looked down at me with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Just for that, you'll have to write each letter a hundred times before moving on to the next." He told me. I immediately frowned at him. "Want to try for two?" He asked, challenging me.

"I should have asked Thor to teach me." I pouted playfully and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Thor couldn't teach the most basic of subjects, let alone one as complicated as a language." Loki said. I half chuckled in agreement.

"But, it would be fun to watch him try."

"More like frustrating, or infuriating." Loki rolled his eyes at the thought of Thor teaching me anything accurately.

"Maybe he'd surprise you." I shrugged. "He does that from time to time. Thor's not the idiot you paint him to be. His knowledge is just in a different area than yours, that's all." I defended since Thor wasn't here to defend himself. Honestly, he probably wouldn't even try. He was so used to Loki's insults.

"A much different area, I assure you." Loki grumbled under his breath, making me laugh.

"That we can agree on."

It was mid afternoon by the time we got back to the tower. Loki and I went straight to packing our room up, wanting to get that out of the way. We were moving facilities in two days, so we left out the essentials and packed everything else. It definitely helped occupy my mind, but I still felt like someone, or something, was lurking in the corner of my vision. I would look up, expecting to see someone, but no one was there. Every time I felt someone's eyes on me, a chill went through my body. It was a cold and helpless feeling. One of extreme heartache. It would pass in short waves over my body. So quick that it took some time to figure out the feeling.

"Are you done, Kitten?" Loki asked when I finally finished taping up the box.

"Ya, other than what we need for the next few days, everything is packed." I told him as I sighed and sat back on my heels. "It's going to be weird saying goodbye to this place." I said sadly and glanced around the room, empty of our things. "Our whole relationship started here."

"Our relationship started the moment I laid eyes on you." Loki told me. "In Germany. You might not have realized it then, I don't believe I fully realized it, but I knew you were mine."

I looked up at Loki from where I was sitting on the floor and felt my cheeks heat slightly.

"Really?" I asked in a high pitched squeak.

"Yes, love, even then, I knew." He explained and rested his cool hand against my warm cheek. "Though, at first, I merely wanted you, more like a possession. It took your snarky comments and wit to lure me in completely." Loki smirked and brushed over my bottom lip with his thumb. I tilted my head a bit to press a kiss on the pad of his thumb. Loki sucked in a deep breath when he saw, and felt, my lips pressed against him.

"If I knew I wasn't dreaming from the beginning, I definitely wouldn't have been so bold in my approach to you." I told him as I reached up to grab his hand. I brought it to my lips and kissed the center of his palm. I made sure to keep eyes contact with Loki as I did. His eyes grew dark with lust as he grabbed my face and bent down to press a kiss on my lips.
