《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》The Unexpected Guests

It took ten minutes and a weapons restock before swirling orange magic sparked in the living room. Unfortunately for me, there were two portals opening and not just one.

When the first portal opened, the Ancient One stepped through into the room. I grabbed one of my knives and gripped it tightly in my fist. I grabbed Strange to make it known that they were not getting him back without me getting that Stone. But, my heart sank at who came through the second portal.

Tony, Steve, Natasha, Thor, and Vision stepped through the portal. I huffed and turned to the Ancient One.

"I'd say that's cheating." I told her.

"What the hell?" Tony asked in shocked confusion when he saw my arms.

"Stay out of this, Tony." I told him without taking my eyes off of the Ancient One.

"What happened to your arms?" Thor asked and stepped forward.

"Nothing." I responded sharply. "I see you shook the compulsion."

"It faded on its own when you teleported away." Thor responded. "Now what's on your arms?"

"She's corrupting herself." The Ancient One said. "She's letting her darkness consume her."

"Shut up." I snapped. "Just give me the Stone and everything goes back to normal." I told her.

"What Stone?" Steve asked. "You didn't tell us about a Stone." He continued and turned to look at the Ancient One. She held her hand up, almost as if to silence him.

"You know I can't give you that." She said to me. "It would throw everything off balance."

I was starting to get worked up again as I listened to her. She was making everything so fucking difficult!

"I just want my baby back." I told her simply and kicked the back of Strange's knee to get him to fall to the ground. I stumbled for a second on my injured leg, but was able to get my footing. I then put my blade to his throat. The Ancient One gasped and shifted forward slightly. I looked directly into her eyes, challenging her. "The Stone." I demanded.

"Whoa, Sammee, what are you doing?" Steve asked.

"Stay out of this." I said again.

"You're holding a blade to an innocent mans neck. I'm not going to stay out of this!" Steve responded.

"Please, listen to him." Strange commented.

"Sammee, just put the blade down so we can figure out what's going on." Tony told me.

"I'll put the blade down when she gives me the Time Stone."

"The Time Stone?" Thor asked. "There's another Infinity Stone here?"

Nobody answered, the Ancient One and I were in a staring contest. I finally got impatient and pressed the knife a little harder against Strange's neck. He hissed as it slightly nicked him. I hated having to use Strange like this, but I needed that Stone.

"Sammee!" Steve said in warning. "You're not thinking clearly. Put the knife down."

"I'm thinking perfectly clear." I told him. "Last chance." I said and turned back to the Ancient One. "The Stone!"

Her eyes were calculating the situation. She still managed to look calm, though.

"You cannot get your daughter back using the Time Stone." The Ancient One finally replied.

"Wrong answer." I responded and lifted the blade from Strange's neck. I twisted it in my hand and intended to only slightly hurt him. I didn't want to kill him, but I was going to get my daughter back.

Before my knife could touch him, a small metal disk hit me in the arm before shocking the hell out of me. Natasha had snuck up behind me and threw a taser disk at me. I fell to my knees and grunted in pain as I grabbed for the disk and ripped it off my arm. While I was distracted, Strange got away from me.

"Bitch..." I gasped in air and stood to turn on Natasha. "You should be helping me! I have done everything for you!" I got angrier as I spoke and felt my feet leave the ground. "And you won't let me have one thing?" I asked. "One thing!" I yelled.

The black tendrils of energy shot out around my body again. The floor to ceiling window in my living room cracked as my energy buzzed around me.

"Are you all really that selfish?" I asked, angry tears coming to my eyes as falling down my face. "Am I not allowed to be happy?"

Natasha looked at me with a slightly scared expression on her face. I didn't know it, but my eyes and hair had completely turned black again.

"Of course we want you happy, Sister." Thor interjected before turning to the Ancient One. "Can the Stone bring her child back?" He asked her.

"Not in the way she wants." The Ancient One answered. "I'm sorry, but I will not compromise our world."

I huffed and decided on a different approach. I closed my eyes and felt for everyone's consciousness. Once I locked in on Strange, I easily broke through his walls. His head fell forward as I took over. I put one thought in his head, 'get the Stone'.

Vision quickly realized what was happening and flew over to me as Strange went after the Ancient One. Vision grabbed my arm and I snapped my eyes open. I grabbed his wrist with my other hand and twisted it to make him let go. When he did, I threw him against the already cracked window. The window shattered and Vision fell, but not too far. He caught himself in the air and flew back to try and help the others.

The Ancient One pushed Dr.Strange's astral body from his physical one to get him to shake the mind control. Once he was free, she created a portal and pushed him into it. I knew she didn't actually have the Stone on her, but I hoped Strange could get it from her somehow. I started to panic as I ran out of ideas.

"Skydive..." Tony said carefully. I looked at him and saw him freeze for a second. I laughed sarcastically and rolled my eyes at him.

"You're just like them." I told him. "Actually, I think you might be worse. Definitely more selfish. I really should have expected this from you, but..." I sighed and shook my head at my foolishness.

"Just, let us help you." He told me.

"Help me what?" I asked. "Cause, by the looks of it, you're on her side." I spat. "Did any of you actually give a shit about me, or did you just keep me around to benefit yourselves?" I asked rhetorically before looking back over at the Ancient One and teleporting to her.

I felt completely desperate and just attacked. I wrapped my hand around her throat and slammed her against the wall. Still, she stayed calm.

"Just give me the Stone!" I yelled at her.

"Sammee, stop!" Steve said and jumped into action. The dark energy around me were enough to keep him from getting any closer.

The Ancient One looked at me sadly and shook her head. I scoffed and stared her down as tears streamed down my cheeks. I needed to figure out where the Stone was... or who had it.

I smiled cynically and watched as my powers over reality morphed the wall behind the Ancient One. It seemed to grow over her limbs until she was unable to move. I then stepped back and teleported a familiar face to the party.

Wong looked around with wide eyes, wondering how he got here. I figured that the Ancient One would have someone she trusted look after the Stone, and I was right. The Eye of Agamotto was hanging around his neck.

I didn't give him any time to process as I took him to the ground and raised my blade. He got in my way once and I wouldn't let him do that again. Plus, once I had the Stone, I could bring him back.

"Sammee, don't!" Thor yelled.

Just before I was about to push my blade into Wong's chest, someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me off of him. Strong arms wrapped around me and hugged me tightly, but it wasn't Thor. No, it was Tony. He had stepped out of his Ironman suit to get to me.

"It's ok. It's ok, I gotcha, kid. I gotcha." Tony mumbled as he held onto me. I struggled at first. A desperate attempt to get him to let me go without hurting him, but he didn't let go. I was gasping in air and hiccuping sobs while trying to get away.

"Please, please, I just-" I inhaled sharply, pleading for him to understand. "I just need the Stone, please!" I begged, but both my begging and my struggles got weaker and weaker as I started to give up. "I need her back." I cried weakly, my knife dropping to the ground in favor of clinging onto Tony. "I just need her back."

"I know." Tony told me. "I know. I am so sorry." He said and kissed the top of my head.

He held me as I cried and, as I cried, my eyes and hair went back to their normal color, and the inky black of my hands and forearms started to fade away. The wall holding the Ancient One shrunk back to normal, releasing her, and the dark tendrils of energy emanating from me completely disappeared.

Tony picked me up and walked to the couch. He sat with me in his lap, rocking me slightly as I continued to cling to him.
