《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》The Way of Will

"What are you talking about?" Thor asked and pulled back from me. "What are you going to do?"
"What I have to." I responded.
"And what will that be?" Thor asked accusingly. "You can't keep running off on your own. That's what got you here in the first place."
I flinched at his words and tried to squirm off his lap, but he held me in place.
"You can't keep doing this. It's destroying you!" Thor told me seriously.
"You don't understand." I said softly, refusing to meet his eyes. "I saw her- I held her!" I emphasized and finally looked up at Thor. "She was beautiful and so pure. I...need her back." I told him. Thor shook his head at me and released his tight, cage-like, grip on me.
"I will not help you destroy yourself, and I will not stand by and watch either." He said seriously. I pushed off his lap and stood up. I held onto the side of the bed until I got my balance and turned away from Thor.
"Then don't." I told him simply and walked to the door to open it. When I did, I turned and looked at him before stepping to the side, a clear sign of dismissal.
Thor looked to the ground with a look of disappointed frustration. He was angry at me and I knew it, but my own anger was growing. Thor glanced back up at me and stood from the bed. His fists were balled tightly at his side as he stared at me. His steps toward the door were slow and heavy. He never broke eye contact with me. Before he left the room completely, I stopped him.
"Can you tell Natasha to bring me those clothes? I want to get out of this gown as fast as possible." I told him. He had stopped to listen to my request and nodded once to let me know he had heard me. He walked out of the room and I told him one last thing before I shut the door. "And, Thor, stay out of my way."
Natasha came into my room about ten minutes later with the clothes. I immediately took them from her and started getting dressed. I wanted out of here as soon as possible. I had things to do.

"What are you doing, Sam?" Natasha asked me. She was leaning against the frame of the door with her arms crossed over her chest.
"What does it look like, Nat? I'm getting dressed." I told her and pulled up the sweat pants Tony bought for me.
"You know what I meant." She scolded. "Thor's practically planning an intervention out there with the others."
"Thanks for the warning." I said and pulled a black tank top over my head.
"I think I agree with them." She told me. I froze with my back to her before continuing what I was doing. "Sammee, I get it, ok. Having something like that taken away from you... it's hard to deal with."
"You have no idea what it feels like." I snapped as I bent to put my socks on. Nat scoffed and shook her head.
"Wow," Nat said. "That's the first thing you've gotten wrong since you've been here."
She was talking about her little 'graduation' from the Red Room, where she was trained, sterilization. I picked up my shoes from the floor and turned to her.
"No, you had a possible future taken away from you. I had my future." I emphasized and started to push passed her. "And I have been wrong once, on the dark world." I told Natasha and turned to walk into the room attached to mine, Loki's.
He was alone in the room, but I could hear muffled voices right outside the door. Tony and Thor seemed to be arguing, with Steve trying to calm them down, forever the voice of reason. I didn't know where the others were, the only other person in the room was Dr. Cho.
Loki was lying exactly where I left him. He looked like he could just be peacefully sleeping instead of in a coma.
"Sammee, you shouldn't be up and walking around. The doctor hasn't cleared you yet." Nat said as she followed me.
I ignored her and went to Loki's side. I brushed some loose hair, that had fallen from one of the braids, away from his face and leaned down to kiss him. He didn't kiss me back like he normally did and that brought new tears to my eyes.
"I'm going to get her back." I whispered to him and ran my hand over his hair. "I promise you that I'll get her back." I kissed the top of his head before I felt Natasha lay a hand on my shoulder.

"Come on, Sam, you need to sit down."
I stood and wiped away the tears on my cheeks before brushing Nat's hand off of me.
"Do you have a phone?" I asked.
"Uhm, no, but I think Tony-"
I didn't wait for her to finish as I teleported into the hallway where the guys were arguing. Tony jumped and put a hand to his chest. His look of surprise faded into one of disapproval.
"What are you doing up?" He asked while the others also recognized that I was up.
"I need your phone." I said and held my hand out for it. He sighed while he dug in his pocket and pulled it out.
"Why, what's... so important...?" He slowed when I grabbed the phone and turned to start walking to the elevator. I didn't want to teleport and waste even more energy, though I didn't feel tired anymore. Tony, Thor, and Steve glanced at each other strangely before moving to catch up with me.
"Whoa, where are you off to?" Steve asked and placed a hand on my shoulder to stop me. I didn't even say anything as I teleported out of his grip and continued down the hall.
"Sammee!" Thor boomed after me. I ignored him.
I opened up the search engine on Tony's phone and typed in 'Kamar-Taj'. I wanted to know how far it was. It didn't pull up the actual Kamar-Taj, but it pulled up a map with a specific place marked. I clicked on it and blew the image up.
Kathmandu, Nepal, that's where I was going. I stopped walking and turned to hand Tony back his phone.
"Thanks." I told him and turned to continue to the elevator before he could get a word in.
"Wha- Skydive, hold up." Tony called after me. I only stopped because I had to wait for the elevator. "Where are you going?"
"Nowhere." I told him and stared at my reflection in the elevator doors. Tony rolled his eyes and looked at his phone.
"Kath...man...du, Nepal." Tony read out. "That doesn't seem like 'nowhere'." Tony said and held out his phone to show that he caught me in a lie. I didn't care and he huffed before the elevator opened and I got in, all three boys following.
"What's in Nepal?" Thor asked.
"A miracle." I said without looking at him. I just continued to stare at my reflection and prayed that this elevator would move faster.
"And what does this 'miracle' cost?" Tony questioned suspiciously.
"It doesn't matter." I told him. "I'll pay it."
"No, you won't." Thor said and grabbed my arm to turn me. "You're not risking your life anymore." He told me. I looked down at where his hand was grabbing me before I slowly looked up to Thor.
"Get your hand off of me." I told him sternly.
"No." He challenged, just as stern, and stood to his full height. He was mentally pushing me, so I pushed back. My mind wouldn't snap, but I felt his break with my demand.
"Let. Go."
Thor's hand dropped immediately, as did his expression. His expression mirrored Dr. Cho. I was in his head now, so he wouldn't, or couldn't, stop me from leaving.
"Sammee, tell us what's going on and we'll help you." Steve said very carefully. I scoffed at him and went back to looking at my reflection.
"Skydive, you're not thinking straight. If you'd just-"
"I'm thinking perfectly fine, Stark." I cut Tony off. "Worry about yourselves. Try not to destroy the universe before I get back." I told them sarcastically and teleported. I was getting too annoyed with them to stay in that elevator.
I teleported to the outside street and looked around. I didn't feel tired at all anymore. I actually felt powerful. There were lots of people walking the streets of Seoul, Korea. I, as an American, stuck out like a sore thumb. I looked around for the tallest building I could see and teleported to it. It was far out of my previous teleportation limit, but I somehow still made it in one jump.
Again, I wasn't tired at all, so I decided to see just how far I could teleport. I closed my eyes and pictured the Kamra-Taj from the Dr. Strange movies. I took one last deep breath before trying to teleport further than I ever intentionally have before. The worst part...
... It worked.

It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
