《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》The Battle Of Ultron: Part 4

Pietro put me down near the lifeboats and I immediately stood and looked for Loki. I could feel through the ring that he was close, I just had to find him.

When I found him, he was across the street, leading a woman to the lifeboats. He pointed to the carrier and gestured for her to continue as he looked up and over everything. When his eyes fell on mine, he smiled. He was covered in dust and dirt from fighting and I had no doubt that I looked the exact same.

I stayed put as he started toward me. I didn't want him to see how much I exhausted myself. I knew he would scold me and I really didn't need that right now. Right now, I really needed a relaxing bath and lots of sleep. I felt like I could sleep for an entire year. But, all of my thoughts went out the window as a loud noise echoed through the air.

I looked up to see Ultron in our quinjet that he stole. He was shooting down at all of us as we tried to get the last few people on the lifeboats. I panicked for a second as I searched the street for any civilians, but it was clear. For some reason, it still wasn't making me feel better. I felt off. Like something was severely wrong.

I looked back toward Loki with a worried frown on my face. He was frozen in the middle of the street.

"Loki?" I called out to him. My brain couldn't process what was happening until a scream was ripped out of me. Loki stumbled before completely collapsing in the street.

I couldn't think, I just acted. I didn't know where I got the energy from, but I teleported and caught Loki before his head hit the ground. Blood slowly started seeping through his leather armor from multiple bullet holes.

"Loki..." I said as I grabbed a cartridge of my second skin formula. "Keep your eyes open." I told him and broke the seal to mix the two fluids together. As soon as I could, I ripped his leather tunic and sprayed his wounds to stop him from bleeding out, but there was so much... one cartridge wasn't enough. I grabbed another and cracked the seal on that one too.

Loki's breathing was shallow as he tried to keep his eyes open. His body was shaking from the pain and I wished I could do something.

"Somebody help!" I yelled behind me. My voice cracked at the end and I realized I was crying. "You're fine." I assured Loki and turned back to him. "We're gonna get help and you'll be ok." I nodded.

I was feeling colder and colder and couldn't figure out why until I realized that it was because of the ring. The weaker Loki's life force got, the colder I got.

"Loki, please!" I begged and tilted his head, so he'd look at me. His eyelids were dropping more and more as the seconds ticked by. "You can't leave," I sobbed. "You can't leave me!" I said more forcefully.

Loki tried to say something, but no sound came out. He settled for a weak smile as his eyes finally closed.

"No, no, no." I mumbled. "Open your eyes!" I yelled. "Open your eyes!"

No amount of begging could make his wounds heal and his eyes open. I rested my forehead on his chest as I silently prayed. I was so in my head that I didn't notice the wind start spiraling around us, or hear Thor yell to us.

"Loki!" Thor screamed and started to make his way toward us, but I didn't notice. All I felt was that coldness seeping into my skin.

"Don't take him from me. Please don't take him from me." I whispered in a chant until everything was too much. I was no longer aware of the outside world anymore as I screamed my pain.

A wave of energy exploded from my chest. The wave hit Thor so hard that he was thrown off of the rock completely. Anything that was immediately around me and Loki was pushed back with incredible force. The wind picked up and created a spiraling tornado with me and Loki in the middle.

Every scream sent out another wave of pure energy that shook the entire city.

"Get everyone off this rock, now!" Cap yelled.

"What the hell is happening?" Tony asked in a panic.

"Loki was hit." Steve said. "And Sammee... I don't think she's in control right now."

"Wait, you're telling me Sammee is in the middle of that thing?" Rhodey questioned.

"It doesn't matter." Tony interrupted. "Whatever's happening, whatever she's doing, it's going to tear this rock apart."

"How do we stop it?" Cap asked. Tony was silent on the other end.

"I don't know," he finally said.

A dark purple light start pulsing from inside my chest, growing bigger and bigger with every beat of my heart.

"What do we do?" Pietro asked.

"I can't get anywhere close." Steve commented.

"You run." Tony told them. "Get out of there, now!"

"What about Sammee and Loki?" Wanda asked. "We can't just leave them!"

"I'm not leaving them." Tony responded. "Just get to the helicarrier!"

Everyone's voices sounded like white noise to me as I clung to Loki. All I felt was pain, pure pain, and I wanted it to end. Every wave of pain was worse than the last until it exploded from my body. Anything and everything the explosion of dark purple energy touched evaporated, including the entire floating city.

Even though the ground beneath us was gone, Loki and I were still. We weren't falling, we were completely still in the air. I was in the same position, crying over Loki. I still hadn't noticed the world around me.

"Sammee!" A barely audible voice called to me. "Sammee!" The voice said again. "He's still alive!"

"No, no, no..." I mumbled and shook my head as I hugged Loki tighter.

"He's alive!" The voice yelled again. "Loki is alive!"

I wanted to understand what was being said, but my brain was focused on one thing.

"Cold... so cold." I cried.

"For god sake's, Skydive, he still has a heartbeat!"

My brain was finally able to register what the voice was yelling and I focused my consciousness on the ring. I pushed passed the cold and felt for anything that told me he was alive.

It took a lot of concentration, but I was finally able to hear the slow, weak beating of his heart.

Hope sparked through my body and I sat up to look Loki over, not knowing what to do next. My hands were sticky with his blood and stuck to his clothes.

"Come on, Sammee. Let us help him." The voice I now recognized as Tony's said through the comms. "We'll get him help, he'll be ok."

Help, I thought. Loki needed help... Regular hospitals wouldn't be enough, but I knew of a place that would.

I didn't know how I did it, but in a blink of an eye, Loki and I were at Dr. Cho's lab in Seoul, South Korea. The lab was trashed from when Ultron was here, trying to get Dr. Cho to make him a body. When Wanda released her mind from Ultron's enslavement, Ultron shot Dr. Cho and stole the cradle. That's when Cap, Nat, and Clint swooped in and stole it from him. Now, Dr. Cho's lab was a mess, but it would still work. It had to.

Dr. Cho's arm was in a sling from when Ultron shot her. She had her hair up and she was in regular street clothes, definitely not dressed for a lab.

"What-how...?" She asked and looked around before her eyes landed on me. "How did I get here?" She asked. I cocked my head at her, but had more important things to worry about.

"I need your help." I told her. My throat felt like sandpaper when I spoke. "Please," I begged. "Save him."
