《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》The Vision

As Tony and Bruce worked on uploading J.A.R.V.I.S. into the body Ultron created, I sat and watched Vision start to come together through the small window in the cradle. It was strange, like I could almost feel a heartbeat. Of course, there wasn't one, and there would never be one since he wasn't actually human.
"This framework is not compatible." Tony grumbled and typed away on a keyboard.
At the familiar conversation, I started getting antsy. If this went badly, this was the start of all the Civil War issues.
"The genetic coding tower is at 97%. You have got to upload that schematic in the next three minutes." Bruce told Tony. "Sammee, can you-"
"Incoming." I announced and shot up to protect the cradle.
"I'm only going to say this once." Steve said as he stepped into the room. Wanda and Pietro followed behind him.
"How about 'none-ce'?" Tony asked.
"Shut it down!" Steve commanded talking about the cradle.
"Steve, we can't." I told him. He snapped his attention to me.
"You're encouraging this?" He asked.
"Cap-" I started, but Bruce cut me off when he saw Wanda.
"We all agreed to trust Sammee when the time came, so why are you questioning her now? Are you sure she's not in your head?" Bruce asked and pointed at Wanda.
"Bruce-" I tried, but got cut off again.
"I know you're angry." Wanda told Bruce.
"Oh, we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade." Bruce said seriously, menacingly.
"Enough!" I shouted to get everyone's attention. When everyone went silent and looked at me, I spoke directly to Steve. "You're just going to have to trust me." I told him.
"You don't know what's in there!" Wanda yelled.
"I know exactly what's in there." I said seriously before a fast blur went by me. Pietro had disconnected the cradle from everything, so it would power down.
"No, no. Go on." Pietro sarcastically told me as he dropped the power supply. "You were saying?"
"Pietro," I sighed. "This is why I always preferred Wanda." I told him just before a shot rang out from below us. Clint had shot up through the glass floor, shattering the panel Pietro was standing on, and making him fall to the level below.
"Pietro!" Wanda yelled and tried to get to him.
"Bet you didn't see that coming." I smirked as I bent over the hole in the floor to look down on Pietro and Clint.

Clint furrowed his eyebrows and looked between me and Pietro.
"That- she stole my line." Clint grumbled. "She stole my line."
"Better luck next time, Hawkeye." I teased. An alarm went off on the computer and pulled all of our attention back to it.
"I'm rerouting the upload." Tony announced. Steve shifted like he was thinking about moving into action until I teleported into his path.
"Don't make me kick your ass again, Cap." I warned. He shifted on his feet again and looked between me and Tony before huffing.
"You're sure about this?" He asked me. I nodded, but I knew I only had to wait until Thor and Loki got back. Hopefully, in a few seconds, because the air was tense. But before that happened, I was blasted back by a force of red magic. I grunted as I sat up and got to my feet.
"Seriously, Wanda?" I scolded. "I just said you were my favorite twin." I sighed seconds before she hit Steve and Tony, too. Bruce got to her before she did any more damage and held her from behind.
"Go ahead, piss me off." He threatened.
"Bruce," I warned. "She's just a kid."
"I don't seem to care, at the moment." Bruce told me.
"Thor!" I yelled. "Any time now, ya electric bastard!" I commented as Wanda blasted energy through her chest and into Bruce to get him to let go of her.
Thor ran into the room, with Loki trailing behind, before he jumped onto the cradle and raised Mjölnir to call lighting to him.
"Wait!" Bruce yelled as I shielded my eyes from the light.
Once Thor had enough power, he pressed Mjölnir and all the lightning into the cradle to power it the rest of the way. Once he was done, the cradle door bursted open, throwing Thor with it into a glass wall. Smoke poured out from the now open cradle as a body floated out of it.
Vision was crouched at the edge of the cradle with his head down. I waited anxiously for him to look up at Wanda... but he didn't. He cocked his head in my direction and looked up at me with a confused expression. Everyone was basically frozen, waiting to see what Vision would do.
Vision slowly stood and looked at his hands before looking back up and floating over to me. He stopped about a foot in front of me and reached out his hand, like he was going to touch my cheek. He didn't get within an inch of me before a green surge of energy blasted him back.

Loki stepped protectively in front of me as Vision was thrown through a glass wall by Loki's blast. Vision caught himself in the air to keep him from crashing through the window that led to outside. He looked at his reflection before glancing out at the outside world.
Steve moved to approach Vision, but Thor held up his hand to stop him. After another second or two, Vision turned while his blue and red outfit I recognized from the movies started to appear on his body.
"I'm sorry, that was... odd." Vision said as he floated back down to the floor. "Thank you." He told Loki. I stepped up to Loki and threaded my fingers with his. It had only been a little over a day, but I missed him.
"I'm glad you finally decided to join us." I teased Thor.
"Have you seen it?" Thor asked me, referring to his vision he had about the infinity stones. It was the reason he left us in the first place.
"Yes." I nodded.
"Can you two stop taking in code?" Clint grumbled.
"I've had a vision." Thor told everyone and set Mjölnir on the table. "A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at it's center is that." He said and pointed at the Mind Stone that was in Visions forehead.
"What? The gem?" Bruce asked.
"It's the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones." Loki explained.
"The greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities." Thor finished.
"Then why would you bring-" Steve started, but Thor cut him off.
"Because Stark is right."
"I want that in writing." Tony commented.
"Oh, it's definitely the end of times." Bruce muttered.
"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron." Thor said.
"Not alone." Vision chimed in and walked towards us. My eyes tracked him, like they couldn't not.
"Why does your vision sound like J.A.R.V.I.S.?" Steve asked.
"We configured J.A.R.V.I.S.'s matrix to create something new." Tony answered, but I was barely listening as I watched Vision. He stopped walking and turned his head to look at me.
"You... carry life..." Vision said and looked at me with confusion and wonder. Loki tensed and pushed me farther behind him. I couldn't answer. I didn't know what to say. All I knew was that my heart was hammering in my chest.
"She should." Tony sarcastically mentioned. "You know, since she's alive and all."
"How do we know you're on our side?" Steve asked Vision.
"You think I'm a child of Ultron." Vision stated.
"You're not?" Steve questioned.
"I'm not Ultron." Vision told him. "I am not J.A.R.V.I.S." He continued. "I am..." he got stuck, not knowing exactly how to put it into words. "I am." He finally concluded.
"You are Vision." I was able to add. Vision looked at me and hesitated as he thought it through, but then he nodded once in agreement.
"I looked in your head and saw annihilation." Wanda said and walked closer to Vision.
"Look again." He told her. Clint scoffed as he joined the conversation.
"Her seal of approval means jack to me." Clint huffed.
"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone." Thor said. "And they're nothing compared to what it can unleash." He continued. "But with it on our side-"
"Is it?" Steve interrupted and turned to Vision. "Are you?" He asked him. "On our side?" Steve added.
"I don't think it's that simple." Vision told him while in thought.
"Well, it better get real simple real soon." Clint threatened.
"I am on the side of life." Vision said and looked to me. I was worried why he kept turning back to me. When he first came out of the cradle, he was supposed to look at Wanda first because of their shared connection to the Mind Stone, but he didn't. He looked at me and kept looking at me, almost like he was watching for something. "Ultron isn't." Vision continued as my head reeled with theories and worries. "He will end it all."
"What's he waiting for?" Tony asked.
"You." Vision answered.
"Where?" Bruce asked.
"Sokovia." Clint said as he stalked around Vision. "He's got Nat there, too."
"Sammee," Steve called to get my attention. "This is your call. If you say we should trust him, we will." He told me.
"I have a better idea." I said and stepped around Loki.
I held out my hand and called for Mjölnir. It was in my hand in the next second. Without missing a beat, I turned and threw Mjölnir at Vision.
