《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Ultron

"Worthy..." Ultron said as he stumbled on the front landing. Everyone was on their feet in an instant. "No. How could you be worthy?" He asked. His voice was digitalized and his movements were stiff and jerky. The robot he was inhabiting was barely put together. "You're all killers." Ultron told us and gestured around the room. I snuck behind the bar and grabbed my knives that I stashed away earlier.
"Stark." Steve called without taking his eyes off Ultron,
"J.A.R.V.I.S." Tony said, but the A.I. didn't answer.
"I'm sorry, I was asleep." Ultron continued and looked around. "Or I was a dream."
"Reboot Legionnaire OS. We got a buggy suit." Tony tried to tell J.A.R.V.I.S.
"There was this terrible noise." Ultron said and held his head like he could still hear it. I gripped my blades tighter, ready for a fight. "And I was tangled in...in...strings. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy." Ultron mentioned like it was nothing important to him.
"You killed someone?" Steve asked.
"Wouldn't have been my first call. But, down in the real world, we're faced with the ugly choices." Ultron said. His head tilted and with the glow coming from under the mask, it looked like something out of a horror film. I finally had enough of listening to him and teleported in front of everyone, so Ultron could fully see me.
"That's enough, Ultron." I told him sternly.
"Ultron?" Bruce asked with wide eyes.
"In the flesh." Ultron responded.
"Not quite." I corrected him.
"Well, I'm on mission." Ultron said as he looked down at his broken vessel.
"What mission?" Natasha asked.
"Peace of our time." Ultron told her before the wall behind him exploded as more of Tony's Iron Legion suits bursted into the room. I quickly put up a reality barrier that disintegrated anything non-living.

I protected myself, but I couldn't get all of them. My barrier didn't cover enough space. I looked behind me to see Steve kick up the table we had all just been sitting around. One of the robots crashed into it and sent the table, and Steve, flying. Everyone scattered trying to get to a weapon, or cover. Thor and Loki did their best to protect them as they did.
"Your doing things all wrong, Ultron." I turned back and told him.
"Maybe." He agreed. "But the end result will be the same." He said and tilted his head at me. "Why are you fighting me?" He asked, confused. "Don't you want the world to be a safer place...for your child?"
My body froze. All I could do was stare. The sound of fighting became muffled in the background. I couldn't process his words correctly.
"I know you mean well." Ultron started his speech. "You just didn't think it through, 'Angel'." He said the word in a condescending way. "Or, is it Flash?" He asked, using my old HYDRA alias. The question made my skin burn. "You're the only one here that doesn't want to protect the world. You want to monitor it." Ultron told me. "You want change, but only when you say, and you think you're helping." Ultron scoffed. "You're even worse than the rest of them. You know how to fix things, yet you refuse. It's-"
His words were cut off when I pushed my barrier of reality shifting energy at him. His suit disintegrated like the other suits that went through the barrier.
With my adrenaline up, I turned and teleported to one of the last bots left. One of my blades went into his back as I leaped, using the blade to help me hold on. My other blade slide under the helmet to sever the wires and, by proxy, the connection.

I landed on my feet when the bot collapsed and turned just in time to see Cap get that last bot by throwing his shield at it.
Loki was by my side and checking me over in the next second. He always did this after a battle, but I wasn't in the right headspace.
"I'm fine." I tried to brush him off, but he ignored me. "Loki, I said I'm fine!" I almost yelled. His eyes met mine and he stopped. The silence was so loud. We stared at each other until I sighed. "I'm ok." I said a lot more calmly. "Someone check on Rhodey." I knew he was thrown out of one of the windows and landed about ten feet down on one of the landing decks.
"On it." Agent Hill told me.
"They have the scepter." Thor said. "I'm going after it." He told us before spinning Mjölnir and flying out of the broken window to track the only robot that escaped with the scepter.
"Anyone else hurt?" Steve asked and looked around. "Nat?" He asked. Natasha shook her head. "Bruce?"
"I'm good." Bruce told him.
"Barton?" Steve continued down the list.
"Good." Clint called.
"Dr.Cho?" Steve asked.
"I'm- I'm good." She said and stood from her crouched position on the floor.
"Agent Hill? How is he?" Steve asked, referring to Rhodey.
"I'm fine, Cap." Rhodey told him as he and Agent Hill came up the stairs. "Just a busted shoulder."
"Agent Hill? Any damage?" Steve asked.
"Just some cuts." She told him.
"Loki? You good?" Steve continued.
"Fine." Loki grumbled without breaking his stare with me.
"Tony?" Steve asked. Tony didn't answer, he just nodded.
"Who is Ultron?" Loki questioned next.
"I was going to ask the same thing." Natasha stated. Everyone, but Tony and Bruce, looked to me for answers. I let out a deep breath before looking at Tony.
Tony ran a hand down his face and looked down at the floor.
"Ultron is..." he started. Everyone turned their attention to him. He sighed heavily before saying the words. "He's a program Bruce and I were looking at making from the scan of the energy pathways in the scepter."
"Search the building." Steve said. "Ultron said he killed somebody. I want-"
"J.A.R.V.I.S." I finally spoke up. Everyone turned their attention back on me. "He killed J.A.R.V.I.S." I told them sadly. "You won't find anyone else in the building."
"Just in case, then." Steve said with a nod.
"Ultron has escaped using the internet by now." I explained. "But the other bots I disintegrated are going to come back ass soon as I drop the reality shift."
"Great." Tony sarcastically said. "How many?"
"Two or three. I didn't exactly count when they rushed toward me." I told him.
"Alright, Loki, Sammee, and I will deal with them. The rest of you go up to Starks lab and figure out how this happened. We need to get a jump on this, and fast." Steve commanded.
"You got it, Cap." Tony replied without any sarcastic comment.
When they were all gone and it was just Steve, Loki, and me left, we got into our positions around the piles of disintegrated robots.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Yep," Steve responded. "Let's do it."
