《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Halloween: Part 2

Did I want my Cinderella moment? Yes, yes I did. And to ensure that I got it, I teleported to the stairs of the new party deck. The old one was turned into our common room. The new party deck had three levels. The main level had the bar and seating area. The second level had the party games, pool, darts, etc..., the third level was the entrance. The entire place was basically made of glass windows to see over the city. It was beautiful.

Stark didn't skip out on decorations, either. The entire place was Halloween themed, even the food and drinks. Tony somehow got 3D see-through projections of people to walk around and dance, so they looked like ghosts. It looked like the haunted mansion ride at Disney.

I took a deep breath and steadied my heart rate before placing my hand on the banister and starting down the stairs. I looked good and I knew it. The dress fit me perfectly. I had my hair in beach waves down my back. It was half up and half down, like Buttercup's hair was in the movie. It also kept it out of my face. The crown sat beautifully pinned on top of my head. I felt like a Queen, and I definitely looked the part.

As I descended the stairs my eyes scanned the crowd for Loki. I wanted to see his reaction. I could see multiple people watching me walk down the stairs, including a certain group of superheroes.

Steve and Sam were talking to Clint when they saw me. Steve smiled warmly at me and gave me a small nod while Sam raised his drink to toast me. Clint gave an awkward half smile before looking away. We still weren't on the best of terms, but things were slowly getting better between us.

Tony was entertaining a large group of people with Rhodey standing with him. I was excited to see Rhodey here. It'd been so long since the last time I saw him. Tony smirked when he saw me and gestured to the bar with his head. I looked to see Thor, Bruce, and Loki standing at the bar.

I froze mid-step when I saw Loki. He was wearing Westleys Dread Pirate Roberts outfit. Our eyes locked and I suddenly felt hot all over. I felt his eyes look me over before coming back to mine. Neither of us moved until Thor shoved Loki forward. Loki stumbled for a second before glaring back at his brother. I couldn't help but laugh at his look of annoyance as he turned back around to me from silently cursing Thor. His annoyed look vanished as soon as he looked at me again and I bit my lower lip when we started moving towards each other.

Loki made his way through the crowd as I descended the stairs, his eyes never leaving mine. I could feel my cheeks heat up and knew I was blushing hard.

As I got to the last stair, Loki held out his hand to me.

"You look absolutely breathtaking, my love." He told me as my hand slipped into his. His words didn't help the fire spreading through my veins.

"As do you, my prince." I said. He pulled me to him and rested his hands on my waist.

"A crown suits you." He whispered into my ear when my arms looped around his neck.

"This crown would suit anyone." I told him with a shake of my head.

"Anyone can put on a crown, but not everyone can demand attention by doing so." Loki commented and pulled back to look at me.

"I'm hardly demanding attention." I said with an awkward laugh. Loki smirked before reaching up and softly pulling my arms from around his neck. He kissed the back of my hand before letting my arms fall to my sides. He walked around me until, he was pressed to my back, and moved my hair to one side.

"Look around, Kitten." Loki told me. "Notice their glances of curiosity. Envy. Admiration."

I looked around to see that Loki was right. Some were just flat out staring at me, but the ones that had a bit more class stole subtle glances. It was confusing since I was definitely not the only one here that dressed up as royalty. I could clearly see one guest dresses as Princess Diana in her famous revenge dress. She wasn't getting nearly as much attention as I was though. She was barely getting any attention from the guy she was talking to.

"Why?" I asked confused at why they would continue to look at me. I looked good in the dress, but not that good.

"Because they can tell you hold power." He responded.

"But I'm not even the most powerful one here." I said and looked over my shoulder at him.

"There is more than one type of power a person can hold." Loki told me. "Your determination alone outshines everyone else, add your heart and mind, not to mention the raw power of the Aether and your teleportation you possess."

"Ok-" I laughed awkwardly as I blushed and looked down to the floor. "I get it. You can stop now."

"Do you actually, or do you just want me to stop?" Loki questioned and turned me toward him.

"I want you to stop." I smiled, but kept my head down. I felt cool fingers brush under my chin and tilt my head up.

"As you wish." He told me as he leaned in to kiss me. I hummed happily when our lips touched.

"If you don't stop now, I'll have to charge the guests. They are not getting that kinda show for free."

I pulled away from Loki and chuckled as I turned to address Tony. He was wearing a washed out Guns N' Roses t-shirt with a sleeveless leather jacket and jeans. He had fake tattoos on his arms and was wearing a long, dirty blonde, straight wig with a blue bandanna.

"What's up, Axl Rose?" I asked with a smirk.

Tony gestured widely with a smile before turning in a circle so I could see the back of the jacket. It was embroidered with the Guns n' Roses logo, but instead of saying the band name it said 'Ironman' '#1 Avenger'.

"You would." I rolled my eyes at him as I laughed.

"It's always good for the people to have a reminder." He joked. "I see you found your costume."

"It's amazing, Tony, really." I told him and touched the crown "And the crown is just-"

"Actually, Buttercup, that was all Westley's doing." Tony interrupted.

"Yes," I laughed. "And I will thank him privately later, but he doesn't have the connections or income here to pull it off alone, so thank you."

"Alright fine, you're welcome." Tony brushed off. "I've got one more surprise for you, come on."

Tony started walking away from us as I glanced at Loki. Loki gestured for me to follow Tony, so, with a suspicious look, I followed.

Tony led me to the middle of the room before turning to me with an all knowing grin.

"Ok, stand right here." He told me and pointed at a spot in front of him.

"I swear, if this is a Carrie moment and you ruin this dress, I will kill you." I commented as I stepped where he told me.

"It's not- though that would have been great for Halloween." Tony shook his head. "No, it's not that." He said and rested his hands on my shoulders. "It's better." He told me as he turned me around.

At first, I didn't know what I was looking for, but then I saw it. I didn't see it before because I was looking for Loki in the sea of people.

Hanging over the staircase, in glittering gold letters, was a sign that read 'Happy Belated Birthday, Sammee!'.

"Are you serious?" I asked with wide eyes.

"Deadly." Tony told me. "Welcome to your birthday party."
