《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Revenge

I sat down next to Loki in the living room of the Avengers facility. We were relaxing after the day we had. It wasn't too stressful, just very long. I completely relaxed against him and closed my eyes listening to some of the other conversations the others in the facility were having.

I finally had nothing to stress over. Thanos was gone. Everybody lived at the end of endgame, I did it. I changed the future. I could now just live out my life with Loki and the other Avengers.

I felt Loki kiss the side of my head and I curled up closer to him, liking the way he held me to him.

We were in the middle of a movie, that was long forgotten, when there was a knock on the facility door. I opened my eyes and picked my head up, about to get the door, when Loki pulled me back down.

"I'll get it, Kitten. You stay here." He told me softly and got up to get the door. I nodded and closed my eyes again. I got a weird feeling in my stomach, but ignored it. I had been getting a lot of those lately. Paranoia was normal after everything that happened in the last few years.

I listened to Loki's heavy footsteps as he walked to the door, the door squeaking slightly when he opened it.

"Loki, God of Mischief?" A strange male voice asked. I got another weird feeling in my stomach and got up to see this time.

"Yes." Loki answered hesitantly. I turned the corner and saw Loki, but the open door was blocking my view of whoever was at the door.

"This is for you." A female voice joined in. In the next second a gunshot rang through the facility.

I saw Loki let go of the door and fall to the floor. The scream that ripped through my body was otherworldly as I teleported to his side. I didn't care about the danger. I just needed to get to him.

His eyes were starting to gloss over and I looked to his chest to see a large gunshot wound. I pressed my hands to the wound to try and stop the bleeding, but there was way too much.

"Now you know how it feels to have someone you love ripped away from you." The female voice hissed. I could barely hear her over my own cries and sobs.

I glanced up at the voice to see two teenagers glaring down at me. One a boy and the other a girl. They both had brown hair with blue eyes.

When I blinked, I was no longer in the Avengers facilities. I was in a dark theater, in one of the private family boxes.

I looked back down to Loki to see that it was no longer Loki, but the political figure I assassinated for HYDRA. I gasped and backed away from his body, my hands covered in his warm, sticky blood.

A blood curdling scream broke through the room as a young girl, about six, ran to her dead father and fell to her knees beside him. Same brown hair and blue eyes the female teenager had.

"You did this." The male voice said from behind me. I spun to see a young boy, same brown hair, same blue eyes. He was older than his sister, but not by much.

I turned back around to look at the girl again, but they were no longer there. I looked around to see that the theater was now empty. I got up and glanced down at my hands. They were no longer covered in blood which was a relief.

I walked over to the red curtain leading out of the box and walked through it. A blinding light came from the other side and I had to squint as I entered the new room.

When my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw that it was the maintenance corridor from the hotel in Prague. Terror shot through me and I turned to go back to the theater, but there was a solid wall behind me. I couldn't go back.

I was alone in the corridor, the only sound was the harsh beating of my heart. I looked back down the hallway to the dark wood double doors. They were the same doors the witness I shot stood at as he begged for his life.

I pulled my eyes away from them and instead went to the side doors. They were locked. I tried to teleport, but, for some reason, I couldn't. I then tried to force the doors open, but they wouldn't budge. The only other doors were the ones I didn't want to be anywhere near.

With a deep breath, I started to walk toward the doors. I stopped in front of them and raised my hand. Before I could even reach the handle, the door flew open and the witness I killed ran past me. He knocked into me as he past so I turned away from the door, watching him run down the hallway.

"You can't let him live, Sammee." A familiar voice said in my ear. It was the voice of Secretary Pierce and it made my blood run cold. "Our Soldier will end up paying the price if you do." He taunted. I felt a heavy weight in my hand and lifted my arm to see that I was holding one of my throwing knives. "You're missing your chance." Pierce told me. "He's getting away."

Without much thought, I spun and plunged the knife into Pierce's throat... only it wasn't Pierce... it was the witness.

His eyes went wide as his hand went to his throat. I gasped and let go of the blade. The witness fell to his knees as he choked on his own blood.

I stood there in shook as tears pooled in my eyes. This was too much. My chest was killing me from how hard my heart was beating.

I squeezed my eyes tightly shut and tried to listen to the voice.

"I'm trying!" I hysterically yelled back. The loud sound of choking and the iron smell of blood still covered my senses.

I opened my eyes back up when the room went quiet. I looked down to see the witnesses skin too pale and his eyes unfocused and glazed over. I pinched my skin over and over again, trying to get out of this horrible nightmare. I looked up at the ceiling to look for the voice again, but there was nothing.

When I looked back down, I saw something that made my stomach roll.

The witnesses hand was slowly moving toward the knife still embedded in his neck. His hand wrapped around the handle and jerked it out of his neck before dropping it to the ground. His movements were way too unnatural.

I started backing up as his body started moving in a way it was not supposed to. It reminded me of the way the Grudge moved.

"Get me out of here!" I yelled at the imaginary person that was speaking to me.

I backed up all the way to the end of the hallway and could only watch as the witness, pale skin and all, crawled awkwardly towards me.

"Please!" I sobbed out to the voice. I was already pressed as close to the wall as possible. I couldn't get away.

Blood was still coming from the knife wound on his neck and was leaving a trail behind him as he got closer to me.

"I want out!" I yelled out.

I hiccuped a sob and slid down the wall to curl in on myself.

"Please!" I begged.

The witness was now close enough for me to hear the strange raddled breathing coming from his lips.

I finally tore my eyes away from him and pressed my head into my knees as I hugged them to my chest and cried. I could hear his breaths come closer and closer until they were right on top of me.

When I felt cold hands on my arms, I screamed and pushed them away from me. I tried to scoot away but my back was pressed to the wall.

"It's alright!" I heard the voice say, only closer this time. "It's alright, Kitten."

I opened my eyes and jumped at the bright lights and the multiple people standing around me. It took my panicked brain too long to recognize everyone. I was on the red couch in Tony's lab. My back was against the armrest, which was why I couldn't get away. I released my legs and pressed my arms to the sides of the couch so I could push myself up and away.

"You're safe, Sammee." The voice said again. I jerked my hand away from the back of the couch and held it to my chest with the other when I felt someone touch it.

I looked around again and was finally able to register the faces around me. Loki sat facing me, directly next to me on the couch. Tony, Bruce, and Steve all stood a few feet back, looking concerned.

The relief that washed over me from being out of the horrible dream was too much. Everything was too much. I was already shaking and crying, but I felt way too vulnerable and curled back into myself as I gasped in shaky breaths and tried to stop crying. Every few breaths, a whimper escaped my lips.

"Kitten-"

"Don't touch me!" I yelled and jumped as I felt his fingertips graze my arm again.

"You're safe. It wasn't real. You're alright." He told me softly.

"Alright?" I hissed and lifted my head to glare at him. "What about this is 'alright'?" I asked. "Nothing is alright, and it was very much real!" I answered for him. Loki stared at me in shocked silence. "You had no right!" I hiccuped and started crying again.

"We needed to know..." Tony spoke this time.

"I didn't!" I told them and wiped my face. I glanced over everyone's faces and noticed something. "Was a certain super soldier not invited to your little party to violate my mind?" I huffed.

Everyone went deadly silent and I looked over everyone, but froze when I saw Steve's face.

"What?" I asked.

Steve barely glanced at me before looking away again. My stomach sank for a whole new reason.

"Steve..." I started shakily. "Where is Bucky?"
