《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Trying Harder

The flight back to the tower was quiet. Tony was already back since he flew in his Ironman suit, so it was just me and Loki. Loki sat in thought as I flew us home. At least he didn't seem upset anymore, but I knew he was still frustrated with our situation. I was, too. I just didn't know what to do about it.

"We're here." I called out as I landed the jet.

"Was he right?" Loki asked as I stood from my chair. He was referring to what Sam said before we left. I stopped and looked at him, not really knowing what to say. "I don't like not knowing what happened last year, but I shouldn't have let my frustration get the best of me. I know you're trying..." he said before hesitating and taking a deep breath. "And I shouldn't demand that you tell me what happened. I'll try harder... to... be patient." Loki told me.

My shoulders dropped from their tense position and I walked to the bench he was sitting at. I stopped in, front of him before running my hand through his hair and pulling him to me. I stood between his legs as his forehead rested just above my breasts, his hands holding my hips.

"But, I can't wait forever, Kitten." He added.

"I know." I told him, understanding. "I don't think I'll every really be able to talk about it." I admitted. "But I'll show you some day soon." I continued.

"Is there a specific reason you can't show me now? If you tell me what it is I could help. Or are you just not ready for anyone to know yet?" Loki asked and looked up at me.

"No, I just... I don't trust that you can sit back and not immediately go after HYDRA if you knew." I explained. "I love knowing that you would do anything for me if I asked, but I also know that your anger can sometimes get the best of you. Can you tell me with 100% honesty that you wouldn't go after HYDRA?"

"You don't want me to mess with the timeline." Loki sighed. "Why can't you ever focus on yourself and what you need. What you're doing is unhealthy and it's going to get you killed."

"I'll try harder." I promised. "I'll try not to put myself in danger."

Loki looked at me and released a heavy breath before leaning back and pulling me to straddle his waist. He kissed me softly before pulling back.

"I'm going to hold you to that, Kitten." He told me before pressing his lips back to mine. This time with more force, more intention.

I relaxed against him and ran my fingers up his neck and into the base of his hair, pulling him harder against me. The low groan in his throat sent shock waves through my body. His hands moved to my ass as he moved my hips to grind against him.

"Not in the jet!" Tony's voice called out. I broke away from Loki's lips to see that the hatch of the jet had opened and Tony was standing at the end of the ramp. "Nevermind, it's already tainted. Throw the whole thing away." He grumbled before turning back to the tower.

I laughed before turning to Loki and giving him one last kiss. When I tried to slide off of his lap, Loki grabbed my legs and pulled me back onto him. I squeaked at the sudden movement before Loki smothered the noise with another kiss that made my toes curl.

"Alright," he said and pulled away from me. "Now you can go." He smirked when I didn't make a move to get off of him. My brain was too fuzzy, my body too warm. "Unless you would like to continue?" He asked and rolled my hips into him again.

"I have heard that makeup sex is the best sex." I smiled mischievously.

"Seriously!" Tony's annoyed voice scolded. "Screw your boyfriend where everyone can't see you."

"Don't kink shame me, Stark!" I yelled back before climbing off of Loki and walking off of the jet.

"I think I liked it better when you were fighting." Tony said as I walked into the lounge. I laughed and rolled my eyes at him before teleporting his drink from his hand and downing it. The amber liquid burning down my throat.

"Thanks!" I called out, teleporting away before he had a chance to yell at me.

I teleported to my floor, still laughing. My laugh, however, died when I saw Bucky sitting on my couch, tapping his foot impatiently. When he saw me, he shot to his feet.

"Where the hell did you go?" He asked angrily.

"Calm down, Soldier. I just went to visit Sam." I told him before turning to open one of the cabinets in the kitchen and taking out a bag of chips.

"Isn't he in D.C.?" Bucky asked from behind me. I turned to see him waiting for an answer.

"Yep." I said, popping the 'p' and crunching on the Lays chips.

"Alone?" He was getting more and more worked up.

"Yes, James, alone." I told him. "But I wasn't alone for long. I even met someone nice." I said referring to Amy.

"HYDRA is still everywhere and, right now, they want revenge. You're basically handing yourself over to them when you go out alone."

"You and I both know that none of their agents pose a threat to me." I said casually.

"And if they decide to just shoot you down rather than come face to face with you?" Bucky challenged.

"Then we'll see if I respawn or not." I shrugged. Bucky didn't react. "Oh, it's a video game thing. I forgot you're old."

"Can you stop fucking around and be serious for once?" Bucky hissed, stepping into my personal space.

"I suggest stepping away from her."

I looked over Bucky's shoulder to see Loki standing at the edge of the kitchen. Bucky's jaw clenched, but he stepped back from me and turned to walk out of the kitchen. Not before sending me one last glare though.

"Make sure she doesn't leave the tower alone." Bucky grumbled as he passed Loki and walked to the elevator.

Loki watched him leave with a confused frown on his face. I think he expected Bucky to fight back a little.

"What was that about?" Loki asked, turning to me. I jumped up on the island counter before answering.

"He's worried that HYDRA is after me." I explained.

"Is he right?" Loki questioned and took slow steps closer to me. I shrugged again and put another chip into my mouth.

"Not sure." I told him. "Wouldn't be surprised if they were though."

Loki was quiet for a moment, looking down at his shoes, his hands folded behind his back. He hesitated before sighing and looking back up at me.

"Please don't go out alone." Loki told me. His eyes were soft, begging, not commanding. I set the bag of chips down and gave him my full attention before responding.

"Ok," I said and nodded. I hated being alone anyway.

"Thank you." Loki told me. I physically saw the tension leave his shoulders as he relaxed and leaned his arms against the counter, caging me in.

I leaned forward and gave him a quick kiss before picking up the bag of chips and stuffing a few in my mouth. Loki smiled at me as I swallowed my mouthful of fried potato goodness. I grabbed another chip and held it in front of Loki, offering it to him. He chuckled softly before leaning forward and taking the chip from my fingers. I sucked the salt from my fingertips as I watch Loki swallow and lick his lips. His lips curled into a slow smirk and I stared before I raised my attention back to his green eyes.

"You're staring." Loki mentioned.

"And?" I asked, sitting up straighter as I challenged him.

Instead of accepting my challenge, he leaned forward, pressed another kiss to my lips, and grabbed the bag of chips from my hand before quickly making his way out of the room.

"Hey!" I shrieked after my stolen chips. I could hear him laughing as he continued walking away from me.
