《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Emergency

I knew something was wrong when I saw Loki holding my body. I looked down at my hands to see that familiar purple glow. I also noticed that my hands were see through. I had to wait until I wasn't see through to transfer back to my body.
I stood near the door as Loki cradled my sleeping body to his chest. As soon as I went quiet, Loki grew concerned.
"Kitten?" Loki asked and pulled back to look at my face.
To anyone else it looked like I was asleep, but I knew that was wrong. I didn't know how I knew something was wrong, but I did. Thankfully, Loki knew it too.
"No, no, no." Loki muttered. "Kitten, wake up!" He said and gently shook my body. I moved like a rag doll, limp, cold... I looked down to my hands again to see that they were becoming more transparent and not less. I watched as the color started draining from my hands.
"Damn it!" Loki yelled and laid me flat on the bed. His hands started to glow green as he placed them on my body. As he touched my body I looked down to see my hands slowly staring to gain color back.
"It seems that Ms. Sammee requires medical attention. I have contacted the others. The medical team is on their way." JARVIS spoke. Loki quickly glanced up to the ceiling before focusing back on me. He was scared and all I wanted to do was comfort him.
"How long?" Loki yelled back, but didn't need an answer as my door was kicked open.
"What happened?" Steve asked and rushed over to Loki.
"I don't- she was fine and then-" Loki's eyes went wide. "Unzip her suit." He told Steve. Loki's hands were still glowing and focused over my body.
"What?" Steve asked.
"Do it!" Loki yelled. Steve quickly reached up to the zip of my suit and pulled it down. The sharp intake of breath from Steve was enough to tell me that it wasn't good. I walked to stand next to Steve and looked down at my body.
My entire left side and stomach was a deep purple. It almost looked black.
"JARVIS, where's that medical team?" Steve asked as he continued to look at my body.
"Coming up the elevator, Mr. Rogers."
Loki moved quickly. He picked my body up and went straight to the elevator. It dinged open and before the medical team could even react, Loki shoved them back into the elevator and got in with them. I followed quickly since I couldn't be seen or heard yet.

Once the medical team of three saw me, they immediately got to work. Loki laid me down on the stretcher they brought and immediately started trying to heal me again.
During the short elevator ride, I was hooked up to two bags of fluids, an oxygen mask, and a heart monitor. My heartbeat was very fast, it was concerning.
"JARVIS, page Dr.Banner to the triage room. Tell him it's urgent." One of the three from the med team called out.
The elevator opened and my body was carted out and into a brightly lit room.
"Sir, you need to stay out here." One of the EMTs told Loki. Loki ignored him. "Sir?"
"I heard you! My answer is no." Loki snapped.
"It's fine," A voice I hadn't heard in a long time said as he walked into the room. "He can stay." Bruce told the team before making his way over to me. "What happened?" He asked when he saw my side and stomach. Bruce didn't waste any time as he started giving orders to the EMTs.
"All I knew was that she possibly had a few broken ribs." Loki replied.
"And what are you doing now?" Bruce asked.
"Trying to heal her, but it's not working." Loki frustratedly told him.
"Why not?"
"If I knew we wouldn't be here!" Loki yelled. Bruce froze for a minute before nodding and continuing.
"She needs a hospital." Bruce said. "I'm not qualified to handle this." He hooked a bag of O negative blood to my IV before continuing. "JARVIS, alert the hospital that they have an abdominal cavity internal hemorrhage incoming. Tell them to be on standby." Bruce called out. He tilted the gurney down so that my legs were higher than my head and wrapped a blanket around me. "Let's move."
My body was taken to the launch pad just as Natasha, Fury, and Sam landed in the helicopter. Nat was the first one out.
"What the hell happened?" She asked and walked up to Bruce.
"Internal hemorrhage, we need to get her to the hospital. Can you fly us?" Bruce replied.
"Ya," Natasha said. "Take the quinjet, it'll be faster." She told them and jogged to start the engines.
It didn't take more than two minutes to get to the hospital. Once we were at the hospital, my body was carted away by the doctors on standby. It took a lot of convincing from Nat and Bruce to get Loki to stay behind. They tried explaining to him that he couldn't be seen by the public and when that didn't work they told him that he would just be in the way.

The look of absolute defeat and helplessness on his face as he watched my body be carted into the building was heartbreaking. I tried to hold his hand, but my hand went straight through. My hands were still very transparent.
"Why don't we go back to the tower and wait, ok?" Natasha asked Loki. I was surprised and how easily she talked to him. I thought she would have held a grudge for what he did to Clint during New York. I honestly thought she would be the hardest to come around to Loki, but I was so grateful I was wrong.
"No," Loki said as he continued looking at the door. "I'm staying here. I'm not leaving her alone."
"She's not alone, I'll stay." Natasha offered.
"I don't mean to offend, but I don't trust you to protect her first." Loki told her.
"Ok, but you can't stay here. You'll be recognized."
A green light passed over Loki as his appearance changed. His hair was short and blonde, he was a little shorter, his face was more round, and he was wearing a grey suit. His eyes were still green though, he didn't change that.
"Or you could do that, I guess." Nat huffed. "Fine, come on, we'll wait in the waiting room."
Natasha and Bruce led Loki to a nurses station where they asked where I was being treated. The blonde nurse looked tired as she looked up, but as soon as she saw Loki she perked up.
"I'm sorry, I can't give out any information on patients who aren't immediate family." She apologized with a smile.
"We're the ones who brought her in. We just want to know where to wait for her at." Natasha replied. The nurse barely took her eyes off Loki to reply to her.
"Like I said, I can't give out patient information. You can wait on this floor, but there's no telling how long it's going to take." She told Nat, her tone slightly annoyed. After replying to Natasha, the blonde went straight back to looking at Loki. I really wished I could slap a bitch about now.
Loki noticed her stare and furrowed his brows. I watched him take the ring I gave him off his middle finger and slide it onto his left ring finger. He then pushed Natasha aside and stepped up to the nurses station.
"Please?" He said and rested his hands on the top of the desk. "She's my wife. I just need to make sure she's alright." He said in a shaky tone. The nurse bought his performance though and I rolled my eyes at her look of sympathy.
"Oh, I am so sorry." She told him and placed a hand over his on the desk.
"Could you please tell me where she is?" Loki asked again. She glanced at the ring before nodding and turning to her computer screen.
"Of course." She told him as she looked. "It looks like she's in Op room four, so I'll send a page to her surgeon to let him know you're waiting here." The nurse said.
"Thank you." Loki nodded and turned for the door. Natasha caught his arm and gave him a stern look when he turned to look at her.
"We're staying here." She told him. "You can't go off on your own. The doctors have her, let them work."
"Oh, Sir?" The blonde nurse called back to Loki. "If I could have you fill out this paperwork for your wife. We just need some information." She smiled and held out a clipboard. Loki looked at Natasha for another few seconds before pulling out of her grip and walking to collect the clipboard. "Just holler if you need any help." She smiled.
Loki nodded as he took the board from her hands and started to turn away.
"Debbie." She told him.
"What?" Loki turned back with furrowed brows.
"My name," She explained, "it's Debbie."
The first thing I was doing when I woke up was smacking a hoe. Loki huffed and smiled sarcastically back at her.
"I didn't ask." He told her before walking back to Natasha. To say it made me happy to see her smile fall was an understatement. "What is all of this?" Loki asked Nat once he sat down and looked at the paperwork.
"Here," Nat said and gestured for him to give it to her. "I'll do this, you focus on not killing anybody." She told him.
"Just got off with Steve." Bruce said as he walked back to the two. He was holding a phone in his hand and tucked it back into his pocket. "He said he's on his way."
