《As You Wish : Loki Fanfic》Family

On our way out, we got another target, Jasper Sitwell. He was a double agent for HYDRA. He was caught by Steve and Natasha and gave out sensitive information. We were to make sure he took his last breath.
We had Jasper's phone tracked, so we could see where they were. The Winter Soldier and I sat next to each other on the way. There were two trucks of HYDRA agents and a unit on their way for capture incase something went wrong. I took a deep breath as I thought out the fight.
The fight pattern would inevitably change because I was there. I wouldn't know everything that happened, but I was definitely trained for it.
'You'll be fine.' The Soldier signed to me in a stiff way. I chuckled at his strange way of comforting me.
'You say that like you know.' I signed back.
'I do.' He responded without an explanation.
'How so?' I questioned and waited for his answer.
"T-minus five hundred yards." The driver of the vehicle called back, pulling my attention from the Soldier. I took another deep breath before looking back to him. He was contemplating something before hesitantly making the 'f' sign and touching my chest with it. He then made the same sign with his other hand and touched his own chest before bringing his hands back together and making a circle.
'We're family'
I smiled warmly at him. I knew how hard that was for him to do. And I was honored that he thought us family.
'Thank you,' I signed before signing our signal for 'James'. He nodded and went back to looking straight ahead again.
"Two hundred feet." The driver yelled back.
"Show time." I sighed and stood up, the Soldier getting up with me. I folded my goggles down and locked them into place. "We have about eleven minutes before unit three is called. We have to be out by then."
We moved to the back of the military issued truck and opened the back window. The Soldier went first and pulled himself up onto the roof of the truck. He then held his hand down to help pull me up.
"I'm going to try and teleport as little as possible. I don't want them to know who I am just yet." I told him. Our masks had communication devices within them, so we could hear each other. He nodded and crouched down as we approached the black car. "I'll get Sitwell, you handle the other two. Let me go first, they'll try to protect him if he's not the first to go." I said and took out my push daggers. I was getting very fond of them.

I waited until our truck was just ahead of the black car before jumping sideways. As I landed on the side of the vehicle, I stabbed one of my daggers into the roof of the car as an anchor while simultaneously breaking the glass of the drivers side back window with the other and stabbing into the soft flesh of Jasper Sitwell's throat.
The Winter Soldier followed right after me and jumped onto the roof of the black car. He took his gun out and shot where Natasha was sitting through the roof of the car. Luckily, Natasha moved just before eating a bullet. Two more shots were fired before Steve slammed the car into park from the passengers seat.
The car jerked to a stop and the Soldier and I were thrown from it. The Soldier hit the ground and used his metal arm to slow himself down. Because of my small form, I flew further than he did, allowing him to catch me and use his arm to make us come to a stop.
"Thanks," I grunted in slight pain. The knee pads in my suit protected me from scraping all the skin from my legs, but I still felt the impact.
The Winter Soldier released my waist and stood up. I followed half a second later. I lost my push daggers when I fell, so I pulled out the Karambit from my left hip. It was a curved blade with a very sharp tip.
I could see Nat pull a gun and aim it at us, but she didn't see the armored truck about to smash into them from behind. The car jerked forward when the truck made contact and started being pushed towards us quickly by the force of the truck. I finally got a glimpse of Sam Wilson behind the wheel of the car and grimaced. I hoped he learned to forgive me later. I hoped they all did.
As the car sped toward us, I stepped out of its way while the Winter Soldier jumped over the hood of the car and grabbed onto the roof with his metal hand. With the two Avengers, and Sam, distracted, I teleported and shoved my karambit into the roof of the armored HYDRA truck. I timed my jump wrong slightly and missed the foot rail, but got a hold on the karambit. I pulled myself up just in time to see the Soldier punch through the windshield of Sam's car and rip out the steering wheel. The Soldier stood and jumped to the windshield of our truck since the car was no longer stable.
The car started drifting between lanes and swiping other cars. I took out a 9mm strapped on my calf and shot out the back left tire. The car spun sideways before flipping and tumbling down the road. As it flipped in the air, Steve, Natasha, and Sam jumped out. They used one of the car doors to help them skid to a stop, but Sam couldn't hold on. He ended up falling off and rolling to a stop.

Our truck parked in the middle of the road and the Soldier and I jumped off. The door opened and HYDRA agents stepped out. One of them handed a grenade launcher to the Soldier as I put my gun away and took out my other karambit, so I had one in each hand.
The Winter Soldier pointed the grenade launcher at Steve and Natasha and pulled the trigger. Steve pushed Nat out of the way and used his shield to take the impact. The explosion threw him off the overpass and down to the street below. There was a honk and a loud crash from below before my attention was brought back to the fight in front of me.
The team of four HYDRA agents started shooting at Sam and Natasha. I saw them run between cars as they avoided the bullets. I moved forward to step next to the Soldier as he lifted the grenade launcher again and shot it at Nat.
"You missed." I teased the Soldier as I watched her throw herself onto the other side of the cement barriers and into oncoming traffic. She avoided being hit my a car as she was fired at by the HYDRA agents. The Soldier huffed through his nose and glanced at me while reloading the weapon. He turned back to Natasha and launched another grenade at the car she ducked behind. I couldn't see her jump from the bridge around the explosion, but I knew she did.
The Soldier dropped the grenade launcher and grabbed and automatic rifle from one of the agents. I followed him as he walked over to the edge of the bridge and looked down at the street below to try and find Steve. I remembered too late that Natasha fired at us from below, from the shadow of the bridge. I pulled the Soldier back as I heard the first shot. The bullet had just nicked his goggles, leaving a large crack in the right side.
"Damn it! Sorry, that was my fault." I sighed as he removed his broken eyewear. "We should split up. I got him, you go after her." I told him. He didn't say anything as he stood up and shot at Natasha, but I knew he heard me. I took a deep breath and teleported down to the street below. I was behind a car, so hopefully no one saw.
The sound of gunfire stopped and I looked over to see the Soldier jump from the bridge and land on the car below.
"Not going to lie, that was hot." I commented.
"Focus." An annoyed grunt was heard back. I snorted a quick apology before turning to the tipped over bus I knew Steve was in. HYDRA agents repelled from the bridge and dropped next to me. I put my knives away, turned to one of the agents, and grabbed his rifle from him. I aimed it at the bus and shot a few times as a warning. I didn't want to kill Steve, but I also had to look like I was trying to.
After my third shot, I aimed for the gas tank and pulled the trigger. The back of the bus lit up and jerked into the air with the force of the explosion as Steve crashed through the windshield and rolled to his shield. He picked the shield up quickly and ducked behind it. I gave my rifle back to the agent and stepped back as they fired at Steve. One of the agents had what I called 'the big gun'. It was basically an automatic with multiple rotating chambers. I was just glad it wasn't pointed at me.
Steve started angling his shield to ricochet the bullets back at the HYDRA agents. I ducked behind a car as he did. Yes, I could teleport, or use my reality shield, but this was the safer option. I waited until most of the shooting stopped to get out from behind the car. Sam had joined the fight and was covering Steve from on top of the bridge. I was close enough to see Steve, but was a bit too far under the overpass to see Sam.
"Go!" I heard Sam yell. "I got this!" He told Steve as he shot at a HYDRA agent. Steve nodded and took off as Sam covered him. I watched Steve go down the street where Natasha and the Soldier had gone. I teleported behind one of the parked cars and walked into the street a few yards in front of Steve. I pulled my kamabits back out and twirled them in my hands. Steve stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me. He didn't know it was me though, at least not yet, but he would after he met with Fury later.
