——————————🌺——————————
Many years later, it was the start of a new day. Inside the house, there were a pair of glasses resting on a shelf. Casita shifted the shelf, so that the glasses slid down it, and a hand grabbed them and put them on.
The same figure grabbed a skirt from a sewing machine that had her own unique designs on them, and pulled them up her legs. Casita then bounced her shoes over to her, and she slipped them on as she walked by.
She then opened her closet and dug through it until she found a bag that had the name 'Mirabel' stitched on it. She slung it over her shoulder and walked over to her bedroom door.
An fifteen year old Mirabel took a deep breath and put a smile on her face.
"Make your family proud." She told herself before exiting the room.
...
The stairs became a ramp, and Mirabel slid down it, passing a portrait of her Abuelo.
"Morning Abuelo!" She greeted, and slid down the rest of the stairs.
Mirabel walked into the kitchen and Casita slid a bunch of plates into her arms.
"Hey! When's the magic Gift happening?" A kid yelled from outside the window.
"My cousin's ceremony is tonight." She responded, while setting the table.
"What's his Gift?" Another kid shouted aggressively.
"We're gonna find out!"
"What's your Gift?" A little boy drinking coffee asked.
"Who's asking?" Mirabel replied, raising an eyebrow.
"Us!" They said that the same time.
"Well, 'us,' I can't just talk about myself. I'm only part of the amazing Madrigals."
"Who's all the amazing Madrigals?" The kids pestered.
"You know they're not gonna leave you alone right?" A voice told her.
Mirabel looked over to another open window and saw a now eighteen year old (Y/n) resting her elbow on the window sill and had her head resting on her hand.
Mirabel laughed. "Yeah, I got that."
"You gotta tell them now."
"Well, alright. Casita, help me out."
Casita opened and closed the cabinet drawers.
The tiles on the floor moved in a wave like fashion.
All the glowing doors started to make noise as well.
Mirabel entered her brother's room.
He just woke up, and as usual, he looked perfect.
Mirabel's other sister Luisa was running along the floor, which was acting like a treadmill, holding weights in each hand.

Abuela emerged from her room, smiling.
Casita poured coffee for everyone and they each grabbed a cup.
Mirabel threw the main doors to the house open.
The family exited the house and made their way into town, and (Y/n) came up next to Mirabel and nudged her shoulder.
Mirabel followed after her family, pulling (Y/n) along with her.
Mirabel and (Y/n) waved to the house, and Casita waved her windows in response.
"Oh my gosh it's them!" A little girl squealed.
"What are the Gifts?" Another kid asked.
"I can't remember all the Gifts."
"I don't know who is who."
The kids started tugging at Mirabel making her and (Y/n) laugh.
"It is physically impossible to relax!" One kid shrieked.
"Tell us everything! What are your powers?"
"Just tell us what everyone can do!" The coffee kid yelled.
Mirabel and (Y/n) exchanged a glance before Mirabel took the cup from him.
Mirabel and (Y/n) stood in front of a giant painting of the family and pointed to a woman in a yellow dress.
Pepa twirled around in a field before tripping. This caused it to thunder and she stomped back frustrated.
"We don't talk about Bruno!" The townsfolk said.
Julieta had a table of food and a line of people with injuries waiting to see her.
A man with a broken wrist approached her, and she shoved food in his mouth.
The man's wrist was no longer broken and he gave a thumbs up.
Julieta grabbed her face and placed a kiss on her cheek, and gave (Y/n) a hug.
Mirabel ran through the streets, dodging people and jumping around, while (Y/n) ran to keep up with her.
Behind, her Mirabel's dad and her Tío Félix appeared behind her.
Félix and Pepa shared a kiss.
Julieta and Agustín shared a kiss as well.
Abuela appeared behind everyone.
Abuela helped carry stones over to help build a new house.
Luisa carried a large platform of bricks, while Camilo shapeshifted into the same woman who was holding a baby so that she could get some rest.
"Wait, who's a sibling and who's a cousin?" A kid asked.
"There's so many people!"
"How do you keep them all straight."
"Grandkid Round-Up!"
A girl came up and put her hand to her ear.
The boy shapeshifted into a little girl and then and adult male.

Abuelo fixed the shirt of a little boy, who was smiling proudly.
Isaiah spun around and created flowers that grew from the ground all around him.
Chorus: "Isaiah!"
Chorus: "Isaiah!"
A woman named Mariana looked over at Isaiah with a love struck smile on her face.
(Y/n) went to follow Mirabel when she suddenly paused. She glanced down and saw that a circle of flowers had grown all around her feet in a beautiful pattern.
She glanced over her shoulder and saw Isaiah looking at her. His eyes moved up and down her form and he smirked and gave her a flirty wink.
(Y/n) blushed and gave him an awkward smile as she turned and quickly walked away to find Mirabel. Not noticing Isaiah's disappointed frown, as he watched her leave.
...
Chorus: "Luisa, Luisa."
The ground Mirabel was standing on got lifted up by Luisa.
Luisa put the ground down, making a bridge over a river.
Abuela: "Let's get ready!"
Luisa: "Coming Abuela!"
Luisa ran off to the house, and Mirabel watched her run off.
Chorus: "Whoa!"
Chorus: "Whoa!"
Chorus: "Whoa!"
Mirabel turned around to leave but was stopped when she saw a little girl standing in front of her.
"But what's your Gift?" She asked.
Mirabel was suddenly tossed an accordion, and the music started up again. She awkwardly started playing to try and distract the kids.
Chorus: "Whoa."
Mirabel tossed the accordion back to the musicians and ran off trying ditch the kids. She looked around and noticed (Y/n) waving her over to a hiding spot between two houses.
The two were about to walk out, when some kids appeared in the window next to them, and then the doorway.
Kids: "But what about Mirabel?"
Mirabel ran away from the kids, and left (Y/n) to try and distract the them from talking about her Gift.
Kids: "But what about Mirabel?"
Mirabel saw (Y/n) riding in a cart of hay with her hand extended. Mirabel grabbed it and hopped onto the cart, but the kids popped up from out of the hay and scared them.
Kids: "But what about Mirabel?"
Agustín tried to chop wood, but when he swung back, he hit a bees nest and got attacked.
Kids: "But what about Mirabel?"
Kids: "Mirabel!"
Camilo shapeshifted into different people doing a funny dance.
Kids: "Mirabel!"
Kids: "Mirabel!"
Mirabel spotted Mariana walking by, and she pulled her over to them, and started speaking faster, to speed up the conversation.
Kids: "Mirabel!"
Mirabel saw the doorway of her house and tried to walk faster, but the kids were relentless.
Kids: "Mirabel!"
Kids: "Mirabel!"
Mirabel turned around and saw Abuela standing in the doorway of the house, with an incredulous look on her face.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Uh, they were just asking about the family and..."
"She was about to tell us about her super awesome Gift!" A kid shouted and pointed at her.
"Oh, Mirabel didn't get one." Dolores said, before letting out a squeak, and walking away.
All the kids looked at Mirabel. "You didn't get a Gift?"
"Um..."
"Eh, who needs it." (Y/n) said, walking over to the group and wrapping an arm around Mirabel's shoulder.
"She is already the bestest friend anyone could ever ask for. And that is more than enough for me." She winked at her.
Mirabel gave her a grateful smile.
"Mirabel! Delivery!" Someone called her name, making everyone look over to him.
A man walked over carrying a basket filled with party supplies. "I gave you the special since you're the only Madrigal kid with no Gift."
He handed Mirabel the basket.
"I call it, the 'Not Special Special,' since uh, you have no Gift." The man said, way too cheery.
Mirabel smiled awkwardly while (Y/n) slightly narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms at the guy.
"Thanks." Mirabel forced out.
"Oh, and tell Antonio good luck. The last Gift ceremony was a bummer. Last one being yours, that did not work." The guy finally left.
"Maybe just tell Antonio the good luck part." (Y/n) suggested.
"If I was you, I'd be really sad." One girl commented.
"Well, my little friend, I am not. Because the truth is, Gift or no Gift, I am just as special as the rest of my family." Mirabel, (Y/n) and the kids turned towards the house and saw the family using their abilities.
"Who wants more pink?"
"Alright guys, where do I drop the wagon?"
"I made a rainbow!"
"Maybe your Gift is being in denial." One kid suggested.
