You were working in jimin's cabin for the past hour because of an important collaboration.

He asked you to deliver the strategies you thought would be the best when it came to this partnership and check some of the documents of the contract.

Although your mind was focused on the work in front of you, your mind couldn't help but wonder about one thing.

"Sir.." at the sound of your voice, jimin hummed wanting you to continue your next words.

"I know it's out of place for me to ask this but are you not dating anyone because you haven't found the right person yet or is it because of me?"

you didn't want to make it about yourself and you wished you could have phrased your words in a better way but there was just not a good way to say it The past two years, you haven't seen him close with a woman unless it was work related and you didn't want to be an obstacle for his love life.

He might not be your best friend anymore but he wasn't your enemy, You didn't want to give him hope thinking that the both of your relationship or whatever ambiguous relationship you both had could lead to something else beyond work and you didn't want him to misunderstand your silence about his confession either.

Hearing your words, Jimin couldn't help but look at you with o surprised face added with an amused smile and curious eyes.

"If you are wondering or worried that I'm not dating anyone because of.......my feelings then don't be. That's not the reason" he told you with a tender smile.

"I haven't really thought about relationships and after the last catastrophic person, my parents stopped interfering in my dating life. I haven't found the right person yet and I'm in no hurry to date either, I want to focus on myself, plus.." you could see the slight hesitation before he spoke the next words.

"I want to keep my promise"

it was a simple sentence but you both understood the message behind it will always be there saiting for you.as whatever you want.

He wasn't waiting for you to reciprocate his feelings and he didn't expect it either but he didn't want to break the promise he gave you this time.

A decade ago, he didn't know if his love wasn't strong or if his friendship was weak at the test he was put through but this time, he wanted to prove to himself that his love wasn't weak and stood the test of time.

If somebody was to get into his heart then it would be someone who would surpass the love he has for you otherwise any other woman wasn't going to enter his heart and he was fine by that as well Love wasn't about being loved, it was about loving someone.

And that's the moment you knew, you love this man! And there's no one other than him who can adore and respect you...as he does.

You don't think about it any further but just rushed to him for a tight hug. Making him surprised.

"Jimin..... I'm so sorry for not realising my feelings earlier and making you wait! But........I love you, I really do...."

And that's the day, you made him the happiest man alive.
