Hearing Chul's question made me question my sanity for a minute.
Did I hear her question properly?
My heart sank thinking about the possibilities of her question. My body became tense and rigid.
"P-pardon?" I asked wonting to make sure that what heard was right.
"asked if you went through a traumatic experience in the past.." Chul repeated.
I didn't know how to reply but before I could, she beat me to it.
"I know, it's very insensitive to say this and it's definitely not my place but I couldn't keep quiet anymore after noticing it" she kept on blabbering while I was sweating nervously.
"I think you might have PTSD" she said in an almost whisper.
Suddenly, my heartbeat slowed down and my nervous state was replaced to a calm one.
"PTSD? Isn't that what you go through after an accident or something?" I queried completely forgetting about the fact that she was diagnosing me with this medical condition.
"It stands for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. It's usually caused by a very stressful, frightening or distressing event. So yes, some people might experience it after they have gone through an accident but it can actually happen to any situation that a person finds it traumatic whether it's a road accident, assault, childbirth, etc." Chul started to explain to me thoroughly.
I wasn't going to lie, it was something I didn't know before. I always thought it was something that people went through after they went through a physical trauma but to know.
That it could be caused by an emotional distress or what might seem traumatic to a person was a new piece of information, I was definitely not educated about this subject.
I nodded my head not knowing what to say else but Chul carried on speaking.

"I know I shouldn't diagnose you with something that I read from the internet but ever since I searched your symptoms, it was the first thing that popped on the search engine!"
"My symptoms?"
"Yes! You've been looking very anxious recently and you are not eating and sleeping well either. I can see your dark circles under your eyes even though you try to cover it with concealer and you seemed to have lost weight as well.."
"There are times where it seems like your mind wonders around somewhere and when I typed all those symptoms online, this was the first thing that came up! Obviously, I didn't think it was right at first because Google always put dramatic answers onto the first page but the more I read and researched about it, the more it seemed plausible..."
I was listening to everything she was saying carefully without showing any of my emotions.
"I know you don't really like to.. mingle with other people but that's obviously a part of your personality or there might be more to that I don't know!" she said while quickly raising her hands in surrender.
"But I didn't want to keep this inside me in case, it might help you....I'm not tolling you to talk to a therapist or something! You know what's best for you and I might be completely out of place and I know I am...I shouldn't be misdiagnosing with something because of the crap I read online but couldn't hel-"
"Chul" interrupted her ramble softly while her big round eyes widened to look at me.
"I appreciate you for taking the time out of your day to research all these.. and to show concern for me. Thank you" i gave her a small genuine smile, it was probably a smile that I didn't give to anyone for years.

In response, her eyes beamed with happiness. It was a face that I hadn't seen her make during all these years I had been working with her, her eyes sparkled like a kid who had seen her favourite candy in a shop which made me wonder what her reaction was all about.
Even though, misdiagnosing someone from the things she read online was something very inconsiderate and thoughtless.
Especially, trusting information you read online even if it comes from a medical source are unreliable and can be detrimental but some of the things she said made something resonate inside me.
I hated showing my vulnerability to others and the fact that she saw it made me feel like 1 burdened another person and myself in the process.
I knew at that moment that after 1 went home from work that I would be searching for a good therapist in town to make an appointment as soon as possible.
Because! was tired of dealing with all of this by myself for so long and I needed the help of someone.
The three young men were walking down inside the corridor on the way to Iseul's room.
None of them had a plan so for but they all had questions to ask. Questions that might show them the right path and reveal the truth.
"It's surprising that she didn't try to stay at your apartment Jin started off the conversation." She tried to but after her silly act and the words she was going to use to y/n, I didn't give her much of a choice"
Jimin explained to his friend about yesterday's incident. "Good for you" Namjoon patted him on his shoulder.
Before they knew it, here they were standing in front of the mahogany door with the number '1212' engraved onto the gold plate of the door.
The three men looked at each other with a firm nod before Jimin started knocking on the door.
After some shuffling noises, the door opened with a surprised Jennie at the front.
"Wow.. what a surprise! Did all of you come here to see me?" she asked with doubtful eyes.
"Yes, can you please let us in? It's not polite to make your guests wait and stand. outside" Jin answered her.
Jennie stood at the side and let the three men enter inside. She knew Jin & Nomjoon and so did they....they weren't strangers to each other.
"What do I owe the pleasure of having you three gentlemen here in my humble abode?" Jennie didn't beat around the bush.
She wasn't naive, she knew the three of them wouldn't have come to meet her without a reason.
"No coffee or anything? At least, you could pretend to ask if we want to have a drink or something.." Jin muttered.
"I'm staying at a hotel, it's not my home..." she scoffed while rolling her eyes.
"Then why don't we order something to drink? You don't need to ask for room service, I'll go and grab something from the downstairs lobby. There was a cafeteria on the left side" Namjoon offered.
"You are all trying to make things way too comfortable, what's the matter? Why don't you just come to the main reason, for your arrival!! " Jennie was looking at everyone intently with narrowed eyes.
"We want to ask you some questions" and finally Jimin spoke.
