Haru and I lung at each other as we slash each other's flesh with our claws and biting down on limbs with our fangs. He latches his jaw around my neck and crunches down tight. I feel strain on my spinal cord as his bite increases on my neck bone, blood seeping from the holes made by his fangs. I glance over to [Name] to see her frozen with a fearful expression on her face. Do not worry [Name]. Nothing will stand in my way of making you mine. Not even Haru.

"Come on Takuya! Mum says Dinners ready!" A friend hollers to me as he stands by the back door leading into a kitchen. I look up with a wide smile to see a wild smile being thrown back at me followed by an excited wave. I leap to my feet and dash for my friend.

"I am coming!" I yell with joy as I pounce on my friend. We giggle, running into the kitchen, sitting at the dining table.

"Hey, Takuya! Let's make a promise!" My friend squeals happily as he wiggles in his seat. I turn to face him with a giggle.

"Okay! Like what?!"

"Lets promise to never fight over anything! We can stay best friends forever!"

"Okay!" We agree on the promise, just in time as my friends mum walks into the room with a cheerful expression as she places our plates in front of us.

"Did you enjoy your time outside boys?"

"Yes!" My friend and I reply in unison. Laughing at each other after the shock of saying the same thing at the same time.

"Jinx!" I shout before my friend could, he pouts, pushing my arm to then fold his.

"Hey! I was gonna say that!"

"Sorry Haru. I beat you to it!"

As pressure builds on my neck, I plunge my claws into the side of Haru's face, digging down deep into his jaw before yanking out my claws, taking his skin with me as it peals off of his face. His jaws instantly unlock as he roars in pain. His mouth stretching even further due to the lack of skin keeping his mouth closed within a distance. He growls furiously and I return the same gesture as a loud scream comes from [Name], we ignore it and lung for each other one more. Continuing to bite and scratch each other. But we soon grow tired as we have not eaten properly so our strength was weak. We pull away from each other as we pant, readying ourselves to strike once again. I watch has Haru's eyes glance in the direction of [Name], but I am confused when his brows raise in shock. I follow his gaze to notice [Name] was gone. We look to each other with shocked expressions.

"Where did she-"

"Shh!" I interrupt him as my neko ears pick up on a faint sound from the distance. I close my eyes to focus on the sound as my ears twitch. Haru's voice was barely audible due to his missing flesh but I was easily able to understand what he was saying due to my animal sense hearing.

"What? I can't -"

"Shut up a minute. I can hear someone."

We stand in silence as I try and pick up what the voice was saying, until I finally managed to hear perfectly.

The faint sounds of a struggle and muffled words could be heard straight after this. I instantly turn and make a run for the direction of the voice but I'm stopped by a hand place on shoulder. I turn to see Haru staring at me with worried eyes. Blood and saliva falling from his wound of missing flesh by his mouth. His teeth on show.

"It is my brother. He has got [Name]." Haru instantly nods to show he understands. The very thought of him coming with me made me sick. I wanted to slaughter him where he stood. But I might need his help to defeat my brother. My brothers strength is exactly equal to mine, but he has been getting stronger as he masters this darkness power. Using Haru, I could either use him as a distraction for my brother to kill. Or he could help me kill my brother along side me.

"Let's go." We exchange nods before running out of the tunnel. Haru holding his face and I holding my neck. I had no idea where my brother could have taken [Name]. So the only way to find out was to check every place that I know of where he takes his victims to kill. Most of the time he returns to his home and uses his basement. But because he knows about how I feel for [Name], he may change his location in this occasion to spite me. Either way, I will not rest until I find her.

As we continue to run, I turn my head to notice that Haru was quite a distance behind me, blood constantly dropping from his face as his expressions scrunch into agony every time blood falls. I slow my pace to a stop and wait for him to catch up. Once he does, he stops and turns to me.

"Haru. If you want to help [Name], you need to keep up. I shall not wait for you or allow you to slow me down more so than you are now. Do you understand?" I hear a slight grumble escape from his lips as a frown forms on his face but he soon sighs and nods as we continue to run to look for [Name].
