Today was a day you never cared for, Valentine's Day. You never remembered when it was but today, Takeshi asked you if you want to do something 'special.' Obviously you laughed in response since that sounded so absurd, thus he asked again, more determined also adding in the part that today was Valentines. His cheeks were tinted red as he spoke earning a small tease from you before agreeing.

Now it was just past four thirty- the time Takeshi said he'd pick you up at, so here you were.. Sitting and waiting outside your apartment on the chilled bench; that was lightly dusted with fluffy snow. Your ass was cold, and so were your fingers; who knew the choice of buying cheap gloves would come back to haunt you so quickly.

Foot steps calmly approached you- crunching the snow as they took each step in a rhythmic manner.

"Here."Somethingslowly comes in front of your face, it was slightly blurry for being too close- it was red.You move your head back, then up to see Takeshi's face; it was slightly crimson and his eyes were averted to the side.

"Yo, take it or I'll eat them." He breaths, his breath seeable in the cold winter air.

Your eyes go back to the thing in front of your face, it was a box of chocolates- a deep scarlet heart-shaped one at that. Just looking at it makes your heart beat faster and your cheeks heat up.

"Thanks." A smile comes a little as you take the box of chocolates from Takeshi's gloves hands. You find your bag; that was to your left, and are about to put it away- before a thought crosses your mind, and you pause.

Aren't girls supposed to give the chocolates?

. . . you honestly didn't think of that, and hadn't got Takeshi anything.

Luckily, it seems he wasn't expecting anything as he speaks up in a causal tone. "Shall we get going?"

"Where are we going Takeshi?" Your reply seems to amusing to him- he smirks and looks you straight in the eyes.

"Yeah, I knew that was coming, and I'm not telling you (y/n)." You face falls into a pout as he ruffles yourhair- this asshole.

"But, Takeshiiiiiii~" With a pout still in place you bug Takeshi- but he seems to be a step ahead of you and shoved something into your mouth, and it was deliciously sweet.

You give him a head tilt and finish chewing. "What was that?"

"I made some bite-sized brownies yesterday.." He shyly rubs the back of his neck.

"Anyway." He grabs your wrist and pulls you off of the bench. "We might be late thanks to you."

Takeshi took you to see a horror movie, and surprisinglyit was really good! Embarrassingly, you got scared at a part of the movie and reached for Takeshi's hand- since then he hasn't let go of it.

It was now getting dark outside, you and Takeshi were walking in the cold to- a location unknown to you. Your heart was beating faster than normal and despite the freezing weather, your face felt warm.

"So, where are we going Takeshi?" You look up at him, wondering about what he might be thinking.

"It's a secret, just wait and see (y/n)." He huff and you could see his breath in the chilled icy air.

"Aw come one~" Tugging his hand gently, you couldn't help but get even more curious.

"Shhh, (y/n). You going to have to wait, I'm not telling you no matter what you say or do." He offers you a smile, but nothing more. You return it with a pout.

"Fine." You mange as you try to look around at your dark surroundings, there was some people here and there, though very few.

Finally Takeshi stops walking when you guys make it into a park. You follow him as he sits down on a swing, you sit on the one next to him.

"A park?" You mutter quietly, this is where he wanted to go?

"Yeah, a park. Do you remember this park (y/n)?" Takeshi swings slightly, the chains of the swing clink loudly.

"Wait what..? It's hard to tell in the dark.." You try to make some of the blurry dark items out and suddenly it comes to you.

"This is where we first met, isn't it? The first day after high school, you got into a fight here."

"That's correct, you came and helped my stupid ass." You giggle remembering it.

"Yeah, you're stupid for getting into fights all the time." Reaching a hand you, you smack him in the back- he coughs.

"Maybe.." Takeshi looks up to the sky as fireworks start up, pink and red.

"Maybe?" Looking up also you couldn't help feel melancholic.

"Anyway, thanks for always being there for me (y/n)." Takeshi leans over, placing a kiss on your forehead.

"No, thank you." You muse, blushing like an idiot.
