little, his vision impaired by the bright sunlight that filtered through the cracks of the airport's high roof. He glanced around, inhaling deeply.
Ah, Japan. It'd been a while.
Izuku didn't expect to stay abroad longer than planned, but his blessings seemed to be increasing by the minute. After graduating among the top of his year, he was offered multiple opportunities where he had resided in France.
One of those opportunities included a job at one of the most esteemed publishing companies in the country.
Katsuki was supportive, extremely so, but that was expected. During the two years he spent, he'd only gotten to see his fiancée thrice in person. It had been a bit rough for the both of them, but essentially worth it.
"I'm sure this should be obvious by now, but..."
Katsuki's left foot tapped incessantly against the floor beneath him and he leaned over again, looking for any signs of fluffy green hair.
He, like his partner, had been doing really well. Collide had been signed to a major record label recently, and they were currently busy with promotions and press tours.
A part of him almost felt like he didn't deserve it all, but that notion insulted his bandmate's talents, so he pushed those thoughts away.
Besides, Izuku would smack him over the head if he ever caught him being self deprecating again.
"You're everything to me."
When Katsuki was younger, all of his dreams seemed way beyond him. Beyond the mental illnesses, the doubt, and the anger. But now... everything was so close. So reachable, it was practically all within his grasp.
There were only a few gaps left.
"There are times when I still feel so tired of this body... but... but..."
Katsuki flexed his fingers nervously.
"But...when I'm with you, I feel loved. When you look at me, I am loved."
Izuku sighed, passing through the metal detectors and security, impatient to see the other side of the door in front of him.
And finally, the glass doors parted.
"...I want you to marry me."
Katsuki blinked.
Izuku rushed forward, abandoning his luggage.
"Kacchan!"
And their bodies collided.

Izuku inhaled, wrapping his arms around the torso of his fiancé. Katsuki wheezed.
"Deku, holy shit."
Pressing a kiss to his forehead, he could feel Izuku smile against the skin on his neck.
"I missed you. So much."
"I missed you more, you idiot." Katsuki closed his eyes. "...Welcome back."
Ochako cleared her throat, and Izuku jolted slightly, stepping away from Katsuki a bit.
"Ah, Ochako! I'm so sorry–"
The brunette burst out laughing. "You're still such a worrywart. Don't sweat it, you dummy."
Izuku smiled, wrapping his arms around his best friend and enclosing her in a tight embrace. "I missed you too, but you know that. Right?"
Uraraka inhaled deeply, returning the warm embrace. "Of course I do."
Once they stepped away from each other, Katsuki clicked his tongue. "I know I'm ripping into a nice moment, but your luggage is still half way across the room."
"Ah!"
As they gathered Izuku's things and left the spacious airport, a familiar vehicle was parked not too far outside.
It turned out that Iida was the designated driver.
"Midoriya! It's great to see you again," Tenya said, a smile spread across his face as he glanced at the rear view mirror. Izuku grinned. "I'm glad to be here."
"Your mum has been stressing over the house," Ochako chuckled. "Aunty Inko wants you to come back to the cleanest home ever."
Izuku snorted. "It's just me, she doesn't have to fuss over that."
Katsuki leaned back, twirling Izuku's baby hair between his fingers. "Well, when you get home, tell her that yourself. She's pretty stubborn."
"I think I inherited that."
That night was spent in warmth, hugs, good food, and tears, courtesy of Izuku's mum.

The following day was spent in basking in the smiles and laughters of the people Izuku held dear to him. It was a nice reunion with the old gang.
"Have you gotten taller? You have, haven't you? You totally have." Denki seemed more enthusiastic about this observation than Izuku himself.
"Sheesh, will you pipe it down?" Jirou playfully smacked her fiancé over the head, before graciously turning her attention to the curly headed man before her. "But yeah, I think he's right. You've definitely gained a couple inches."

"I thought you stopped growing after you turn eighteen," Kirishima said from the behind the counter, his tone dubious.
"Nah that's twenty something, I think." Sero passed by, giving Ejirou a pat on the head.
"It's really not a big deal guys," Izuku chuckled. "I mean, I'm still shorter than Kacchan, so–"
"But Bakugou's height is unrealistic to match!" Mina insisted. Ochako nodded with enthusiasm, cuddling impossibly closer to her partner from their position on the couch.
Katsuki entered the room, taking in each expression. He squinted. "Were you assholes talking shit about me? Whatever. Anyone seen ponytail?"
Ochako spoke up. "She's out front with Todo."
"Gotcha."
After Katsuki left the room, Denki shuddered dramatically. "Sheesh, Izuku. You've got balls of steel planning to marry that guy."
Deku laughed. "It's not the extreme sport you guys think it is, you know."
Kirishima grinned knowingly, his tone teasing. "Do you think you'll still be saying that a few years into the marriage?"
______
"I do."
"Then I now pronounce you equally wed. You may now kiss your partner."
Inko sobbed. Mitsuki grinned. Masaru sniffled.
And Katsuki held his husband's face with an equal amount of tenderness and possessiveness, pulling him in for kiss.
An applause erupted throughout the venue.
The wedding was just like most weddings: stressful and anxiety inducing but ultimately cinnamon sweet and filled with the warmth of loved ones.
Quite a few people came; more people than Katsuki expected to ever attend. He wasn't exactly beloved by many growing up.
But there they were. His friends, his family (sans his grandparents), and the lot. Kirishima was filling his face with cake, though he was careful to not stain his best man suit. Denki wasn't nearly as careful. Katsuki almost regretted making that doofus one of the groomsmen. Almost.
"Who else are you picking for your groomsmen, Kacchan?"
Izuku was hunched over his planner, scribbling away as he fiddled with his free fingers. Fidgety as always.
"Dunce face and soy sauce face."
Izuku giggled. Those silly nicknames never got old. "Okay cool, but there's one more person, right? Is Shinsou okay for that spot then? Or Shoto–"
"You've gotta be pulling my fucking leg." Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Eyebags is already a questionable choice, but that icyhot douchebag?"
Izuku waved a nonchalant hand, hiding an amused grin. "Just going through the possibilities."
"Ugh. Anyway, who says we have to have another guy in that place? I want Ashido there instead."
"Hmmm. You're right." Izuku turned around, casting a soft smile at his fiancée. "It's about what we want right? There's no rules to this."
"Exactly. What about you then? Other than pink cheeks and glasses?"
"Oh! Uh, I was thinking Jirou and Tsuyu." Izuku leaned back. "We've been getting to see Tsu more often ever since I got back. We've caught up and all. Really reminds me that keeping up through phone calls for years doesn't compare to really seeing each other, y'know?"
"Oh yeah, I remember you mentioned that. Is she still into Uraraka?"
"Ahaha, I'm honestly not sure." Izuku scratched at his neck sheepishly. "But one thing's for sure, it's good to hang out, all four of us. Just like in highschool."
"Deku? You okay?" Katsuki hummed softly, leaving in to check his husband's features for any signs of anxiety.
Deku sniffled, looking at the people before him. Tsuyu was currently in the middle of egging Tenya on into taking one more sip of wine. Ochako and Mina were backing her up. His mother was having casual conversation with Masaru and Aizawa. Mitsuki was over by the DJ's area, obviously in the middle of suggesting something.
Shoto and Yaomomo were having a quiet conversation with Tokoyami and Shinsou, and Jirou left Denki's side to poke in curiously. His extended family members were mingling with Katsuki's. A few of their old acquaintances from college were chatting pleasantly.
"Yeah, I'm just really happy right now."
Katsuki blinked, before a small smile broke into his features. He leaned in, brushing his husband's hair back before kissing his forehead. "I am, too. I'm really lucky."
"Your suit is so pretty, Izuku-kun. You'll look so handsome in it." Ochako's grin was wide as Inko fussed over the details.
"T-Thanks, Ochako. Kacchan looks better though, I bet."
He did. He was still the best looking person Izuku had ever met. Effortless and handsome.
Izuku reddened a little. "Y-Yeah. I'm really lucky, too."

8 82Another world? Some weird magic? Sure.
Writing my last novel, I realized that before you start, an ending should be there in your mind. So I wrote this as an atonement to my first novel. This is a typical story about someone who gets stranded in another world with OP powers. But this is not about just the MC, but also some people around him who directly/indirectly had their lives changed. I've written this as a collection of short stories where some may be bigger and more intense than the others. Note: I've finished writing all the chapters, but will upload on my own discretion.
